It recognizes the AB and CO, but not the axis.

Nice model. Attempted to try it this evening, but it is not recognizing me Winwing Orion throttle axis. It recognizes the throttle sliders but not the throttle. Any thoughts?

investigating Carrier deck crew not marshaling online
BoneDust replied to BoneDust's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yes, it worked for us in PG map. Haven't tried the other maps yet. Cold start - taxi behind blast door - lower wings - and we all got marshalled to hook up on CATs 1-2-3-4. I think there were 6 or 7 of us on that pick up flight. There was another option that involved sequencing the launch order. I believe you connected to CATs 1 -3 - 2 - 4. not sure if that works after the last update. Not sure how this got by testers when it is obvious. As far as I know ED has a good number of testers, so I guess it just slipped through. -

We noticed with the most recent update that you need to spread your wings when you line up behind the blast door. If you do you will get marshalled on to the CAT. You will not get any signal to spread your wings from the deck crew, but line up behind the blast door and spread them and you will get all 4 jets on the CATs. Bottom line is it needs fixed. I'm uncertain how this got by testers. I believe ED has a good number of testers. -

It also works if you initially launch from an land base and fly to the carrier, but ramp staring on the clients cannot get connected to the CAT; oddly enough though once in a while one or two guys can get connected. -
We attempted to fly on two separate missions this evening and only 2 jets out of 11 were given marshaling signals to the CAT. We tried calling the crew "request launch" with no joy. Missions were in Cacasus. Both missions were new. Thanks for the clouds; they're are sweet.

I think it is good that we have options when it comes to choosing a wing. Some have stringent flight requirements while others don't. Some expect a certain skill level that some guys never achieve (they know who they are), while others don't have any standard. There is nothing wrong with having choices.

Multiple DCS servers on one machine?
BoneDust replied to Tricky11's topic in Multiplayer Server Administration
Thanks. We ended up cleaning our server install, reinstalling DCS and that fixed the issue. -
Multiple DCS servers on one machine?
BoneDust replied to Tricky11's topic in Multiplayer Server Administration
It seems we can only run Syria and Caucasus theatre mission on our server; Nevada and Persian Gulf will not load. -
Multiple DCS servers on one machine?
BoneDust replied to Tricky11's topic in Multiplayer Server Administration
Since the hotfix we can get one server only running. Anyone else having this issue? -
I just updated to the latest Open Beta update and I am not able to start our 3 servers. Has something changed, or is anyone having issues getting their servers up? I start DCS, start the GUI, put the port in and the server is detected. Connect to it and it doesn't try to load the mission or start. Just stays in the offline state. Thanks

S3 Viking not in new mission build in ME (bug?)
BoneDust replied to BoneDust's topic in Mission Editor Bugs
Oh crap, yes you're right. I never use that yet it was on. Thanks. Very much appreciate it. cheers -
Not sure if this has been reported as a bug, or if I'm doing something wrong If you build a new mission the S3 Viking is not listed as a unit under the refueling aircraft menu for USA. If you load a pre-update mission the S3 unit will appear, but if you look under refueling the S3 Viking is not there; the pull down window shows KC135, KC135MPRS, KC130 cheers

Another issue I've experienced, and "think" it is net code issue is when landing on the carrier sometimes the aircraft will float. I've tested this in one session online with heavy weight 34,600lbs cut the throttle prior to the stern and the aircraft floats over the wires by 6' as though it is being held up. Tested the same mission off line and the sink rate is predicable and accurate (in my opinion). Cutting the throttle in the same location at just prior to the stern will cause the aircraft to descend enough it will impact the stern testing this offline; online the jet floats. Could this be packet loss or some such?

reported CCIP Bomb Fall Line horizontal - after full alignment
BoneDust replied to MirrorNext's topic in Bugs and Problems
If you set the INS to IFA it will solve this issue. Could still be a bug, but setting INS to IFA will fix it so you can use it. -
As an online wing we feel there is still room to improve the net code. - We often experience things such as some members detecting SA radars while others in the same flight do not see them. - Cloud data should be synchronized with all players. - Stutters and long pauses is still an issue online, occasionally causing sim crash.
