  1. They stated that they will continue support for the gunfighter I as long as for the gunfighter 2.
  2. Evaluation from yesterdays training, 16 hits with 530d on f15s, 2 were lethal, the rest was minor damage basically. Interesting part is that even with minor damage, the f15 was considered dead after quite a few more 530d hits. Same issues did apply to aim120s, but I didnt evalutate full numbers on that. aim9s and magic2 seemed to be less affected, but still affected vs before the breaking patch. The mirage didnt survive a single missile hit in the same time.
  3. Yee the Igla is a better paperweight atm except against helicopters. unless there is a red country with stinger not much can be done I fear.
  4. plox add =RvE=Yorz, the Netherlands and =RvE=Veritech, Argentina to our team. Thanks in advance ! :)
  5. I would say it's effective in game within its use case. You don't want to attack MBTs with it but anything else works well imho. For the rb75, I am aware that it's not to be used in a cas setup. But given the existence of the rb75 non t I'm quite sure it's intended to be used against not only ships or static targets.
  6. For light/unarmored area targets the m71 work pretty well imho. I attack coloumns of unarmored vehicles, multi unit sam sites etc with it. The rb75 itself is an anti tank weapon and intended to be used as one, the rb75T not so much.
  7. RB75T is a swedish local developed minewarhead so high HE load explicitly for anti shipping and demolition. The RB75T was a thing before the heavy warhead maverick warhead was even produced afaik. RB05 afaik is nearly 160kg HE charge.
  8. If you are asking for mk82, load rb05, it has like double the HE charge, closer to an mk83 then mk82 tbh.
  9. Its a magnetically held switch, it will switch to barometric if you leave the radar altimeter envelope, and you can switch back to radar unless you are within its operating envelope again. So its feature, not bug. :)
  10. Its literally a feature, its telling you, that you are in danger of running into the ground. Its like that in the real thing.
  11. Yeah there is a general problem with DM atm I believe. Harriers taking an r77 and r73 without smoking F15 taking an 530d and a magic2 without any damage Flankers have tanked some missiles. This is hugely annoying because especially with the mirage its kinda terrible if you have to hit your opponent 3 times to actually decomission him...
  12. Given recent findings about inaccuracies both in gunspread[1] and fireratebehaviour [2] of the current m61 implementation on the F15 I want to bring up a question ideally for the devs to answer. Will these shortcommings of the current fc3 m61 be resolved in the m61a1 implementation on the F/A-18c hornet ? 13. Its pretty well known that gatling guns need a little bit of spoolup time. The m61 on the eagle uses two electric motors if I am not mistaken which are clocking around 77 horsepower. This leads to a spoolup time of roughly half a second, which should lead to round about 20-25 rounds fired in the first half second instead of the usual 50. I did suspect for quite some time that wasnt modelled in DCS at all but today I took it to the test. For that I did slow down the time to 1/8th and fired the gun for 2 seconds realtime which translates to a quater of a second in game time, which should have clocked in at less then 10 rounds fired. Surprise surprise it fires 25 rounds in the first quater second, behaving like a revolver cannon, basically completely ignoring the single tradeoff a gatling cannon really has in performance specs. Now I would like to know where do I bugreport dis to get it fixed. :D
  14. A page file will perform like terrible in comparison to RAM, there is no way around that. The system managed size should dynamically increase to as much as is needed, otherwise your computer would crash. Like seriously, if the page file was "too small" as people say, you computer would bluescreen and byebye. There is a minimalistic performance gain from not having to dynamically grow and shrink it. uncheck automatic management and set it to something static like 32GB. Mind the danger though, if you then would need more then 16GB RAM + 32GB pagefile things go poof and you bluescreen. A page file will not boost your performance. It prevents your Computer from crashing if your memory runs out. The pagefile is your saviour if a program needs to page something in and there is absolutely no memory left to page it in. And only gain of a static size is that it doesnt have to map a part of the mass storage first. But for SSD that gain is minimalistic since you can allocate space very quickly without access time penalty for the rest working on the storage and the OS thinks a few steps ahead anyways.
  15. =RvE=MicroVAX Mirage 2000c aka Opeespaceship2000 Dschoermany Dis gonna be gud.
  16. Am I famous now ?! ;DD Apart from that I did generate tacview from ironmikes and my tracks, the servertrack was, unfortunately, in good DCS tradition, corrupted. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KkTagtHqxbS1Bji0HZj10JVnguh8cnqD/view?usp=sharing There is some nickname errors and the usual stuck in the air disconnects but that was as good as i got it basically. S!
  17. I guess its not in the open beta patch since the new livery is not in ?
  18. 3 Things are positively not working in the current software/firmware situation. 1) combining a relative axis to an absolute one. I tried to combine the relative hat axis to the main x and y axis, but it will only add the absolute input from the hat, not the relative position from the axis to x and y. A feature to choose here would be _very_ nice. 2) Axis response curve. I checked EQ in the physical axis tab, no joy. Only if I set an axis button in hardware level to switch it on during operation manually it takes effect. 3) Having 2 switchable ministicks between pov and ministick. If I setup a second pov on axis 6 and 7 and set it to on/off and define a button ustick in physical layer and select pov nr. 2, either ministicks cant be switched into pov mode. If I disable the default one the secondary manually configured one works. Looking forward to fixes for theese ! :)
  19. =RvE=MicroVAX RvE Germany Blue side, baguette 2000
  20. Eagerly awaiting to test that shit ! :)))
  21. I dunno I like the kill messages off. Both for a2a and a2g it adds the amount of uncertainty you would have in a combat scenario and makes the whole thing more exciting imho. There is enough servers with kill messages on and as said before there is the online stats. Also if you really fancy kill confirmations, ask your GCI, he can give you nicknames. :D Blueflag imho is the team based server individual pride and such should not stay in the way of creating an enviroment where collective effort to collect and distribute information is needed. I cant say that I dont fancy it myself in a2a from time to time but imho blueflag is aboute more then just a2a pewpew. :)
  22. Hot rearm shouldnt be an issue you can also go to nav 2 minutes before you takeoff so that shouldnt be a problem and last time i checked it wasnt implemented. So has to be some unicorn thing. I would A launch them lower B try full bk90 load C try center pylons D try different time of year and weather with lower pressure. Also set the weapon selector to attack after rearming. Also go f6 on the weapons after release atm its kinda not clear if thy not try to go into cruise phase at all or only too late.
  23. Enter it without the 1 ... its a game workaround since the real system would not have worked far outside sweden anyways... [no joke].
  24. Im kinda embarassed at my own performance this time around we had a lot more planned but Krippz kinda put an early ending to that ! :D We have done a lot of pre-planing with the data cartridge functionality, and I did hotfix coordinates for chaparral sites 5 minutes into the briefing with fresh coordinates from the GCI to bring in the autohoming hammers, but unfortunately we didnt get to employ them anymore. :} Really looking forward what the future will bring for the Viggen [already inhaled todays patch log] and what the F14 will bring to the table, especially the RIO side of things. At least then I can blame the flying into missiles part on the Chauffeur ! :D [Aerial photography/recon slide rule is already laying around here, bring the TARPS ! :D] So yeah, thanks a lot for the sponsoring and the modules you bring to DCS really had a great deal of fun with the viggen since its release and am very sure will have similar levels of fun in the Tomcat !! S!
  25. Thanks for the pictures of the front ! One more question I have at this point is if the 2 switches on the thumb side of the throttle grips, additionally to the 4 way and 2 buttons are either just 2 way hats or 4 wat hats or 3 position switches with permanent positions ?
