  1. As a pit builder myself (currently on my third), I always appreciate when things can be mapped easily. Enjoy the Gazelle! She's tons of fun.
  2. I've gotten it to work with universal radio a couple times, but the issue isn't on the Gazelle side I think UR doesn't recognize the Gazelle yet as an aircraft. Hopefully in a future update of UR it'll be fixed....because I really like UR and we use it all the time on squad nights.
  3. Well, it's a different joystick on the aircraft. For the M version the missile launch button is on the commanders left joystick. For the L version it's on the pilots sticks. On my Warthog I use my trigger for the gum/rockets for the L version. I use my pickle button for the M version missile launch.
  4. Yep....that'll be me. But I'm going to make sure my model is super cool.
  5. It's noted...trying to get images of how it looks like in a real Gazelle.
  6. He's a great guy! But sometimes the awesome qualities are hard to capture in a 3d model render.
  7. Sometimes I think we have too many version around. Enjoy the L.
  8. But for the record, you do blink in real life right?
  9. I believe there is a way to set it since I've seen some DCS videos with the waves pitching the deck up and down. Might be the weather system causing that.
  10. Yep. There are many ways to do it. But was just giving a basic overview. Howpfully well get a chance to meet sometime. Good good things about ya.
  11. Also depends if it's freshly cut grass, because the wetness of the grass reduces the friction.
  12. He's still there....right shift-p toggles between both pilot and commander, pilot only, and no pilot or commander.
  13. Big thanks for the Israel Flight Community inviting me to speak. Had a great time and met some great people who are passionate about flight simulators.
  14. Good info. Hopefully someday we'll be able to put people or roofs or elevated position in DCS. But for right now, we'll just be taking out armor.
  15. Just curious, wouldn't it be hard to keep a laser pointed at a target at a great distance (like 5 miles out) in a moving chopper by hand? What kind of ranges did you guys laser at?
  16. Well, I think we might give him some clown makeup and make him more cheerful.
  17. In theory yes....but everything is subject to change. The landing and starting of grass as been extensively tested by our team. I myself have over 4 hours just landing the Gazelle on different surfaces and starting her back up again. On the plus side, my landings are getting better.
  18. So are you referring to a model with just the TV system, but no weapons - or the civilian version with no tv and camera?
  19. This thread is for Gazelle...L or M models are perfectly fine. So share away here.
  20. New update will make little tweaks to the FM which should help. But remember it all comes with time. You didn't learn to drive a car in one day, so flying a helicopter is no different. Took me about three weeks once I joined the team to get comfortable flying her as low speeds and take off and landings. I'm still no expert either.
  21. The date on the changeling reflect the date we uploaded it to ED, not the date it will be released.
  22. It's on our list to implement as soon as multi-crew is made available in the public release.
  23. Read your review when you posted on Facebook. Really liked it. Glad she's becoming your favorite.
  24. Well that might have to do with the number of objects being rendered. The cockpit has quite a bit more movable objects then the external model. Just out of curiosity, what frame rate to do you get on other modules inside and outside the module?
  25. Can you describe the cockpit lag a bit? Not sure I've seen that. FM is being updated based on conversations with gear Gazelle pilots and crew. Next update will have some more tweaking so stay tuned for that. As for stuff not working....well, the co-pilot has a habit of drinking wine while flying and some liquids spilled on some equipment. So we'll have to get the crew chief to look into that. Or you could let me know what specifically isn't working so I can see if it's already on our request list.
