  1. Well, I would like to make sure both of your are on the same 1.5.3 version. So if you can find out exactly the version number you and they are on (on the first menu screen) - that would be good. oh and tell your friend to get the gazelle.....;)
  2. I've seen that happen when someone has the gazelle and another doesn't. But this was before the gazelle was released into the actual sim. So with the 1.5.3 update it should be visible to everyone regardless if they own it. I'll see if I can run some tests to replicate though.
  3. Patience is a virtue as they say. First release was for 2.0.2. Second release was for 1.5.3 open beta. Today we released for 1.53. We uploaded the changes Pat mentioned when he posted them, but we need to confirm if they were updated for this release, or if they are going to wait to upgrade all version at the same time. I'm waiting to hear back from some testers about todays release since I'm still at work.
  4. We don't control the Steam release. So we have no say on when it happens. Were hoping sooner rather then later though. As for the version of the gazelle in the 1.5.3 release version....I'm waiting for confirmation since I'm still at work.
  5. Of course we read this stuff. Its part of our jobs. Were waiting to hear feedback from some pilots. But it's an issue we are looking into.
  6. I think the Creech repair teams are slacking off a bit. Will see if we can rustle them up to make them work hard. The beatings will continue until morale improves!
  7. It's been reported. Its on our master list.
  8. Not a problem. Most people hate reading manuals...I love it. Your I especially like because I'm a visual person and I like seeing all the pictures.
  9. Lets keep it in the bug report thread then. Still awaiting confirmation from our pilots about the actual skid behavior.
  10. Downloaded and will test
  11. So haven't finished reading it yet...but found two things on page 19: 1) You have the pitot heat switch in there twice 2) They Hydraulic test switch is currently not modeled. Page 43: The fuel lever need to be moved forward until rotors start spinning, then wait for turbine and rotors to sync, then slowly move fuel lever forward. In the next update if you pushed the fuel lever forward to quickly it's kill the engine...and you'll get even nastier looks from the Commander. Page 57: Seems like you copied the Huey info, since you actually apply right rudder, not left during hover. If you used left, you'll find yourself spinning quite a bit more. Page 63: The Gazelle has an auto-throttle system, so to induce auturotation your shutting fuel flow, not really reducing the throttle....more semantics. Page 89-90 seem to have same info...different pictures. Will post if I find anything else
  12. Again, Darwin can explain that. You see when a "human" is in danger his/her eyes pupate and the eyes open wider to perceive for information. The commander her as naturally evolved to not to need to blink, therefore not wasting precious microseconds during a dangerous situation to fully dilate his eyes. So again....Darwin man.
  13. It was 20 days total for me. I live in PA.
  14. Do you have the mission file so we can look at it and make sure the FAC was set up correctly? FM radio should be working fie. Although avoid some of the radio stations in Vegas...they play too much metal.
  15. Do you have the mission file? Can try to recreate it that way.
  16. Ok will try to test this weekend. Thanks.
  17. It's in our master bug list.....so we'll replicate it on our servers and then see what needs to be done.
  18. How close were you to Area 51? Also which mission were you doing and can we have the track to analyze it?
  19. According to Darwin the mutation of two noises is an advantage in the natural selection process. By being able to inhale air at twice the rate of a normal person he can in theory run longer and maybe even hold his breath underwater for longer. So maybe, just maybe, he's what future humans will look like. Btw, if you say his name in the mirror three times - you won't be able to sleep at night. You've been warned.
  20. Been slacking on updating the main post...but it's in the master list we use. I've been working on the official checklists this week so a little behind on this wish list thread.
  21. Anyone who used plethora in a sentence gets my respect. Well done!
  22. When you buy the module you get both versions, no matter when you bought it. So that serial number you got will work currently in 2.0.2 and 1.5.3 beta. And if you guy hate updates, imagine having to test it....every version update I have to blow out all my settings and install it fresh for testing. I do it for the love of the sim. Probably why I have so many gray hairs...well that and being married with two daughters - that'll give anyone gray hairs.
  23. Awesome work! Long time reader, first time commentor. Keep up the great work!
  24. My french is a bit off, but will look into it.
