  1. Can't wait to see it done!
  2. Trimming to the extremes yes, lightly trimming is fine - according to our flight engineer. I'm still waiting to hear back from actual pilots as well. As usual, if we find out this isn't real behavior in a Gazelle - we will tweak it to make it more realistic. So stay tuned!
  3. Did some more tests over the weekend and talked with engineers and other subject matter expects, and essentially it's the SAS system fighting with you. They advised not to overtrim the aircraft down, otherwise you'll be fighting with the SAS which is trying to keep you flying nicely.
  4. You are indeed correct. The Vivian on the M version has IR and also the guidance capabilities for the HOT3. The L version will have a TV and a Sony Walkman to keep the commander entertained.
  5. It's for ventilation....to keep you nice and cool. Your welcome. I'll see if I can replicate it.
  6. Another quick video of the gun and rockets in SA342L version....now with correct gun sound!
  7. Ok tested and got an engineering answer for you. So here's whats going on: If you decrease the collective from above 68% to 0 in less then 1 second, the rotor and engine desync. So this would basically be like pushing the fuel lever all the way open at startup and blowing up the engine.
  8. You can customize it to what you like. But essenetially you have have the constant vibration while flying. I have all the features turned on which include: door closing/opening, engine startup, Flare dispensing, Touchdown effect, damage effect, vortex effect, and the constant engine on virbration. I find that I can react a lot quicker to a vortex effect and recover because my butt shakes from it.
  9. Yes she is...and she's amazing.
  10. I'll take a look and see if I can replicate. Are you using one or more then one monitors?
  11. Bart, Start a new thread so it doesn't get lost in this one and fill it out using the bug report template in this threadL http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2780295&postcount=1 Hope you feel better...the flu sucks.
  12. Thanks....will replicate and report to team.
  13. Great to hear! I pre-ordered the X56 and can't wait to test her out with the Gazelle....although I do have rudder pedals. I did fly a fairly long time with a twist rudder back in my early flight days.
  14. awesome job with the pilots! Commander looks a little less creepy.
  15. You mean Hello Kitty is not top priority? Tis ok...looking forward to seeing the amazing skins you guys come p with.
  16. Still waiting.....I'll even feature it in a YouTube video.
  17. From a modeling perspective there are differences between the M variant and the L variant. Because the L has a different back area, and also has different racks on each side - it needed to be it's own model. For the L version, the vivian is removed and replaced with a standard TV sighting system to be used for recon purposes. As far as uneven load, since the hell is pretty light it would off balance the aircraft quite a bit and make it harder to fly. And good news guys....we got a gun sound for the gun pod. I'll see if I can get permission to release a video for you.
  18. Please fill out information from the template in the following thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=166931
  19. Yes....I really don't think we need to add things like, "don't hit things" in the manual.
  20. updated original link with newer files....hopefully we got them all this time. Latest version should be: Gazelle_skinsV4.7z
  21. Were testing a fix....having a light helicopter in the DCS world is a ground breaking thing (literally in some landings). So were working with ED and modifying our Gazelle to be able to land anywhere. From testing, I can say it's already getting better.
  22. Just a quick teaser at the SA-342L version that were currently testing.
  23. A more violent version of it, but yes...same bug.
  24. Updated the original link again with more files.
  25. I guess that would be ideal. But in case you have to go through them....the PSA shows you how. It was related to the bug report question about the cable cutter and if it actually works.
