Please fill a bug report using the template since we need to know what version your were flying (1.5.3 or 2.0.2) and some other details. Thanks.

Yeah I played a little with the values of the size. Since the my usb screen has a height of 480, I figured use that value. But I also set it to 800 just to make things bigger. The issue was that it cut off the bottom part as expected, but also cut the part where I see the launch indicator...so brought it back to 480X480 for now. Overall, I achieved my goal of being able to stay in the pilots seat and control the firing of weapons. Since I have all the controls I need mapped to hotas I can do everything from the right side of the copter.

Go it working...the trick was giving the center the actual info: Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.7777; } My usb is 800*480 so I made the TV box 480X480 and centered it by making the x=160. So far works well. Will test more tomorrow.

So I changed my resolution to 1920*1560 and modified the config file as such: _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('TV'); Description = 'One monitor configuration' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = screen.width; height = screen.height; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = screen.aspect; } } SA342_TV = { x = 10; y = 1100; width = 540; height = 540; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center When I launch the sim it still treats the USB as part of the screen so some of the main menu screen goes down there. Also when I go into options windows I have to move my USB window to the center so I can actually click on ok. Am I still missing something?

It's something were working on but the issue is that we don't currently have a FFB joystick to test with. So I've been working on getting several Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback joysticks for testing. I've recently bough two and am awaiting them. Once tested to make sure they are working, we can start getting the code up and running for it. It's something were looking forward to ourselves since the gazelle real pilots who've flown the module recommended we implement it.

So got it working somewhat...I can export it to my main screen ok. But having issues getting it to USB monitors. Wasn't sure it was Gazelle related so posed about it in another thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2793450&postcount=1

So I had this set up like 4 years ago many many versions ago. But recently wanted to use my Usb 7" monitor to export my Gazelle TV image to. So I got the LUA working ok to export the image...for now I put it mostly on my main screen. But I'm having issues getting things to work together. So I use one monitor which is 1920*1080. My USB monitor resolution is at 800X480. So I though I just change my resolution to 1920*1560 since my USB is to the bottom and left side. But then it changes the whole menu screen and everything else to that resolution and I can't see the whole bottom of the screen. So I have to change the resolution back to 1920X1080. So how do I tell it to use 1920X1080 for the menu screen and ME....and switch to 1920X1560 for flight resolution?

And just imagine all the virtual paperwork you'd have to do if you broke the seal. Triplicate on all forms...notarized.
-
Most likely not unless you start really high and dive down quickly...but at that speed your more likely to break the helicopter. The L variant doesn't have the vivian, but it still has a camera up there for recon. Plus it has the rocket pod (which stay on the aircraft all the time) and the 20 mm gun (which also always stays on the aircraft. So weight wise it's comes close to balancing out with the M. So no crazy 300 km/h. Plus do you really want to go that fast 5m off the ground? Think of how you'll scare the poor kids on the ground.

Those are known as pilot induced ossiliations. You need to fly her very gently. There are plenty of YouTube videos that show how to fly her. I also recommend Chucks guide as well. In all, she takes time to learn.

Nope, we worked hard with actual Gazelle pilots and crew to make the flight model as realistic as possible. In fact, we had five active duty gazelle pilots recently and they were highly impressed by the flight model. They made suggestions for tweaks to make, and we are working with them to make it even more realistic. In fact, they said some aspects of our module were more realistic then their flight simulator. So were on the right track. My suggestion is to give it a week of practice. We saw these posts when it first came out, and then people learned to fly her.

Remember that different version had different engines and different configurations. The L version will look different on the inside from the M version. Radios will be in different place and weapon panel will be added. It's a pretty diverse airframe.
-
The ignition switch is correct for the M model. Different versions have different ignition switches.

It would be bad...

Ah...I have TV thinking it would work. Will try SA342_TV tomorrow and test it out. As for weapons....I'm playing with them now making sure they work nice and well. So we'll say Soon™

Can you share how you got your TV to export? I found my two 7" USB monitors and want to set one up for the TV and one for the NADIR.... I will add these exports to our list of enchacements as well to make it easier in the future.

The real HOT3 I believe gets disarmed after the wire exceed the limit or communication is lost, but I'm sure could still probably hurt someone even without exploding. The issue is more in ED code that once a missile or a rocket becomes alive, it has to blow up at some point. So were working in the environment we're given. Maybe someday in the future we'll be able to make weapons go inert after sometime.

We're proud to announce the Polychop SA-342M Gazelle is finally on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/411910/?snr=1_5_1100__1100 Enjoy!

Wolf, Which flight manual are you referring to? I can't seem to find the pages your referenced in our manual included with the mod.
-
Mine arrived a month before my birthday since I was expecting a delay from Russia. I still opened it early.
-
Thanks Wolf5. I'll add these to my weekend test flight to reproduce and will pass it on to the engineers.
-
This is why I'm staying at Win 8. I've heard lots of issues with usb devices with Win 10.
-
Nope, after that distance it'll keep flying like an unguided rocket until it burns out the fuel or impacts into something.
-
Because kids don't like him?

Awesome looking....I would think the enemy would just surrender to this majestic looking helicopter when they see the Hello Kitty.
