I've been flying around in X-planes helicopters, pretending I'm doing basic flight training for the Black Shark :D One must stretch his imagination to the limit to get immersed into X-plane though, it's very unimmersive me thinks.. Allthough it's helicopter simulation is OK except they got vortex ring state kinda screwed (says me brother who was a helicopter flight instructor anyway)..

Get some registry cleaner or good uninstaller, that'll fix it. Unfortunatly I don't have any specific tips on which program(s) to use (on the work computer), but google "registry cleaner" or "uninstaller" and you'll find something.. It's so f***ing rediculous that you'll need to do stuff like this with Windows, no other OS is unable to uninstall and get rid of things.. :doh: Anyway, hope you get it sorted out!!

Have we talked about this yet? My apolegies if we have! :) Will there be brown out and/or white out donuts? (dust and/or snow thrown up by rotor wash causing "blindness").. AFAIK these can cause alot of trouble IRL.. So if they are modeled, then to what extent? Can I get blinded hovering near snowy ground?

I don't think you can buy those though, eventhough their site suggests you might.. But they are indeed very cool.. There are however some that make and sell Jetranger-like collectives (too few buttons on those though, I don't have any links, sorry)..

That adds up to 5000 pages of manuals to read :D The Harrier you have listed there would indeed be very sweetpants me thinks, yes me does!

I'd guess that ED makes things as modular as possible to be able to use code from one project in another and so forth, considering their military and commercial products are of similar nature.. But that's not an educated guess or anything :P

I see, sounds doable if you could rig it just so it feels right.. But I'd go a step further and take a non-slider throttle (like that on the X-52), change the handle so that it points straight up from the base and then tilt the base 90 degrees forward.. For myself I'm in the middle of building my second one from scratch :) (the first one was for my brother since he has the electronics know-how to make it work right)...

I'd be interested to know also!! I'd guess that button 2 is a radio send button? (On a certain Scandinavian swingrole fighter it is.. ) 5 is the forcetrim button? Is 1 on the collective a "force trim hat"?

I think weather simulation is about as advanced as in Lockon Flaming cliffs? I don't think wakes of other aircraft are simulated? But I'm not sure..
