ClearDark (or anyone else)... i have made a new profile.. CDU, RWR & new MFCD frames. The New MFCD frames also include the ADJ, DSP, BRT, CON, SYM rockers & On/Off/Night 3 way knob. But i'm having a problem with the rockers on the MFCDs. For some reason the Rockers when selected remain pressed. So if you press the BRT + rocker for example the brightness will increase until it reaches its maximum and remains pressed. Any idea what might be causing this issue? Which monitor is your 'primary' monitor in windows? If it is not your left most one, make it so. If this is not desirable you will need to rearrange your monitors virtually so at least in windows, not necessary physically, the left is the primary monitor. This is a requirement to get this working..

I'd suggest before you get a new card you might want to describe your problems and post up your monitor lua file & setup. To check you done this right.. as getting a new crad seems a little rash as a 1st step..

Hey ClearDark, i trust things are good with you... I have a question...what format of vector graphics is compatible with your latest version? I tried *svg, svgz & swf but get an error parsing profile, out of memory. Thanks

To be honest.. i'm no expert.. i had never overclocked before.. and when doing this overclock i had to have my hand held the entire time! i just don't remember. I actually did it in Aug 2009. I'd thought i'd share some info for anyone interested or doubting the performance a modest overclock can give you. I'm running a modest overclock, a dual core E8400. Default it runs at 3Ghz, 18 months ago i overclocked it to 3.6Ghz. Very stable, no overheating, no fancy cooling. A few days ago my BIOS reset itself without myself noticing, and set it back to factory default. (removed the overclock). This coincided with the latest Warthog patch release. Installed the patch and was getting terrible performance. My fps had reduced by 50%. Naturally i initially thought it was the patch. I reduced graphics setting but it made no difference. I was now getting 15 fps dropping to 5 every now and again, when i had been always been between 25 - 60 fps. I noticed my overclock had been removed.. reinstated it through my BIOS save setting feature and my fps increased by about 70%!!! I went from getting 15 to 45fps on the exact same mission! From a 0.6 Ghz increase!! My cpu is my bottelneck but i was amazed, i had, to be honest, never realise what a boost it was giving me in A10c. My rig for reference. E8400 stock 3Ghz - overclocked to 3.6 Ghz. GTX 480 (1.5GB) 4 GB Ram (1066) x-fi extreme music SSD HD All game settings on High except Water & Traffic on Medium. Getting overclocking people!!! ;)

My BIOS had reset itself to stock settings.. loosing my overclock. I just realised.. my fps has DOUBLED by simply going from 3Ghz to 3.6Ghz on a dual core E8400. Amazing.

I'm also experincing this issue. All settings on High. This patch appears to have screwed something up. If i recall correctly they were artillery units that i noticed them on. I've only flown one sortie since the patch. (i'll check the LOD setting in the lua file when i have a moment)

Patch seems to have decreased the performance for me... but this is a price i'm happy to pay for the MP datalink and reduced crashes. Its odd as others seem to be getting better performance.. some tweaking is needed on my side.

Being free is part of it, it also uses a lot less resources, and would appear to be more flexible and adaptable. Effectively open source and completely moddable. I only tried helios briefly.. i didn't take to it. But of course it is just one opinion, as you put it.

Personally I'm gutted the next/new map will be a US based training map.. yawn.. but i'll just squint and pretend its somewhere else. To me its a bizarre choice for a map for a combat sim, the centre of the US.. just bizarre. It looked nice... but having combat on it is just very odd. 1st thing i'm gonna try and mod is its flippin name.. call in Libya or something.

why do you want to encrypt your missions? Sounds a little...well mean, to me.. why not spread the love? I agree with crunch.. the original payload system in LockOn was better. But i do like the fact that you can land and change your payload. But a combination of the two would be best.

You didn't edit the xml at all? I just redownloaded it and it works for me... i suggest you download it again.
