    VP force is just awesome. Its own software just does what ever you want in any sim. If you do not like an effect , get rid of it. If you do increase it.

    I am inside the cockpit flying it. And I do not agree on your exaggerated description of outside looks on it. I just find your approach on what you think is a huge problem childish. And you should not buy further new modules until you are sure you would be fully satisfied , I think you will find no sim nor module up to your standards

    When you have a hard landing or crash pushing shift + R to restart mission the airbags deploy when start the mission. After next shift+R it start normally.

    Well the hysteria can be explained, but it still hysteria. I go along there is some odd visuals like switches. But sitting in the cockpit it is adequate up to nice textures. I find it pretty similar as the real thing. I do not fly with pilots on. So I won’t comment on shoelaces. I find it to be a good chopper worth 70$ even with my <profanity>ty currency. The systems are well modeled. It fly like a dream. what we seen just hours after release was hysteria among masses. No way any of these people had hours enough in it to put any criticism worth paying attention to. There were videos and pictures enough to show what you got before purchase. So no one was scammed into buying it, no one

    I experience this in Syria map for some reason. I cannot see the Kiowa is lighter than any other module. But I still got to look into if it’s harder. Kind of in the middle of learning it.

    I have the F4 but not flown it, I am not a expert in setting. But can that be close to ground? Can that be a factor?

    Funny, I bought it because it is a chopper, right? Ain’t possible to have to many of them. But I have no recollection nor feeling of connection to its service, no attachment whatsoever to this thing at all. Seen all the videos, did not help much for my motivation. But once starting, after a while, it grows on you. I can’t even say why, but I love it.

    Those are neat. They can’t destroy heavy tanks but lighter armored is a go. Idk. If you can carry 4 hellfires but you can carry two and lase for buddies in Apache. All in all I do not know what I will be using this for, but it’s growing on me. I like it better than when I started. It is easy to shoot down ai Kiowa’s with guns. Stingers is as effective against other choppers as it Russian iglas. Absolute rubbish. 4 might do it. But they was easy to use and hits every time.

    It means you have not let the system test itself or not followed the start procedure. If correct it shut up pretty soon.

    What I quoted, yes it was. A very simplistic exaggeration of a pretty good module. By pretty good I mean there probably faults and not best textures involved. But to me this is quite good. Even enjoyable. But it is too early to judge

    You worry too much. I am not taking that real world feeling into this game. I do this in order to get away from reality. Some take a joint, I fly. I do not own the F 15. But love the Harrier. Never remember what it’s US name is. I want you to enjoy the game, because you made a good campaign for the hind.

    I think it was easy. However choppers are dependant on a good stick and descent rudderpedals. I do not trust peoples expressed feelings about fm. In two occasions I was lucky enough to fly the civilian counterparts. In forward motion. Without any military tech. It was easy. What the pilot did when landing was not. But every move he made was within a dollar coin. We expect everything to be hard. But some things are not

    You can, you can even compare the Hellfire with panzerfaust used in ww2. It’s backwards launch counter the ballistics. Because it is more powerful the heavier the rocket is. I seen Swedish system fire from a tripod built almost like a camera tripod. And they are bigger than manpads. I have no doubts this chopper and every other we got do not equate the real thing. Neither do the environment it flys in. I am sure this can be done better. But I struggle hard to see your point just 24 hours after it’s released.

    Did you do the training mission for it? I haven’t come this far. I only fired the guns. Not sure it even got a training mission.

    I did see it in videos. It sure did not come unexpected. And I think most people bought it with this in mind. Some do remind me of Huey textures, like old. But I don’t think it’s real cockpit was exiting either. To me it looks like a sufficient used workstation

    I do, I argue with those not adult enough to take responsibility for their own choice of buying it. We talk about 15$ max in difference. Not millions like some seems to think. The rivetcounting and search for breaches in fm is mind blowing. It’s like they bought it just for the fun of whining. I have abandoned most fb DCs groups because of these whiners and angry buyers. Truth is, many are crusaders looking for a just cause to fight a battle. This is not a chopper I expected to be my favorite, but it is growing on me. I will fly it and learn it and enjoy it hopefully. But I fly it like a chopper. Of course it got its flaws. Huey still got its flaws, who expected it to be without them? Anyone?

    I have been a bit unfocused while flying it setting controls and such. If you have a mild collision airbags pop’s and rotors sort of braking. Its visual damage model so far looks as it does in OH 6 mod. I am still hoping I am wrong about that. But if anyone is surprised by rubbish visuals on the DM you guys was born yesterday. there is no chopper in this game having such I have not been shot at yet. So I hope this is modeled correctly. But even if we payed 14 bucks more than an early access. I bet they will still work on improvements. And fixes. I am not well of with money right now. and our currency is <profanity>. So it was not cheap but still I would not call it expencive toy.

    I have not come so far in it. I just learn right seat first. Will not bother too much with the rest. If it is on rails due to single player I am not quite with them. I fly SP and want authentic behaviour. As far as it can be done To this day I never used auto hoover in Gazelle. And I had it from the start. I did expect this module to be stable. So I knew this also will be a number two chopper for me. But as Dutch I find it very well done so far

    I really believe this site looks more and more like Facebook comments. If someone feel they should not have payed full price for it. Why the h…. did they do it then? I have seen pictures for month, seen all the videos. To me it looked very similar. I find it well modelled and the poly’s I see , I did see on the videos. I even got to see a long video of a satisfied real Kiowa pilot flying this thing. Not a thing was a surprise to me. This is a solid piece of software and I will learn everything about it. This is going to be fun

    Wow. I won’t go into details but this chopper got airbags what a treat to fly simple enough startup, very stable and easy to fly , yet feels realistic. Fun to shoot with the guns. Next is missiles. I am so happy. Very good job

    I read and heard a lot of pilot interviews Vortex Ring state is not much mentioned by chopper pilots I think this problem is very high in DCS, and might be very correct modeled for all I know. I have not read or seen any accidents in real life where this phenomenon has been mentioned. However when you fly in a game, one tend to push the envelope to the very end , and I think vortex R has taken more virtual life’s than enemy fire

    If focusing being just a pilot and let George do his thing it really become pretty intuitive. As for controlling it I find it a bit wobbly in takeoff and landing, this is because I fly it very seldom. Take your time looking at yt tutorials buy a real chopper like Huey , or dl OH 6 mod. Latter became pretty good after update. It will provide good chopper handeling training. And it is quite fun flying.
