Mission have 6 choppers starting up at the same time I did not hear it start spinning. And it take a while to get the green light. So I probably switched it off again
-
I just know that APU is not willing. I see the button animation work. But thanks for the tip. I have installed OH 6 and Blackhawk since last time. It is probably it.
-
Hope it is work related , he might not have the time. It is awful short time to intended release date

Well this chopper never been my favorite and it took me a while too learn the system in backseat. And occasionally I return to it in order to keep up a minimum of operational capacity on it. This involves cold start every time. After many hours flying the Kiowa I went back to it and found out it took me several clicks to get the APU to start. Next time I could not start it at all. Have I missed something? I read the manual but couldn’t find a different procedure than I do Can this have been sort of ruined by a slow repair I recently did?

No binds available for Copilot Channel Select Switch
LuseKofte replied to LorenLuke's topic in Bugs and Problems
It works. The left panel of the copilot works with right and left click on mouse. I have not looked for assignments on it. In real life copilot did not have remote control like pilot have on his collective. It might be the reason for no assignment -
I tried but could not find the binding for radio. I am on a tight schedule so I am slowly digging deeper. Communication is what I am focusing on next. Then buddy lazing. I am making a couple of highly dense missions and try out most features
-
With your hardware it sounds odd. To me the cockpit look like the real thing. I fly with a g2 and 3080.
-
It does. I can communicate with ai wingman on channel 3 with copilot set to 1 with easy comm.

investigating AH64 causing performance issues for other players

I am testing a mission SP in Syria with two assigned Clients. Apache and Kiowa. Syria is kind of heavy Both choices involve both ac. I have no sutch thing going on in SP. And it involve a lot of triggers , a lot of ground forces , some airplanes. Very dense sp mission. -
I have seen some complaints on FB about the same thing. So this is in fact something a few people are struggling with.

I flown this non stop. I see many things that could do with an upgrade. But I am with @YoYo here. 3D model is not the first. And nothing is really a dealbreaker. Many things in DM is good. And I feel other things is just lacking with it. Textures can be upgraded obviously and they did upgrade the Gazelle. I think that will come. To ad a bit positivity. This chopper rocks, I hesitate being negative about it because I easily can forgive its downsides

What do you mean inaccurate? Pilot said you lead into target you do not hit at first bullet oh sorry I answered at same time

What Chuck been doing for years is incredible time consuming. He just might got a lot of real life things to do. This is not the only sim he has supported. What a effort he has put in

With 50 °C the chopper should struggle in hoover. Both the Kiowa and AH 64 had little fuel capacity as it is and in hot areas in both temperatures and threats they took forward momentum as soon as possible in order to climb and save fuel. There is videoes about pilot mistakes in ah 64 due to heat or and altitude and its weight. It do have automation but not enough to counter physics and gravitation. I do think VR is over simulated and physics due to heat in some choppers are under simulated. You Hav no problem hoovering a loaded Hind in high temperatures. And they depended on runways in order to save the engines. -
It is going to be fairly easy to fly. But the system might when finished be time consuming But a hot start mission I bet you will take of and fly it like a pro. With a limp or two.

Will there be a free trial period for this module?
LuseKofte replied to V0tm1x's topic in DCS: CH-47F
Kiowa has taken years with brakes to develop. You need to fly it for many hours before you can see it took a lot of hours work and decisions to make it. If I flown it for just a couple of hours I would believe it was just another ordinary module. I can see they want money fast for it. That much work and not payed before sold. I never would have guessed I would be obsessed by it. I was experiencing a fatigue and had no motivation for flying. This chopper was a desperate attempt to get something new. It revitalised my hobby so to speak. -
This is because of computer stuff. Chinook was stable equipped with steampunk pit. Two contra rotating props lifting front and back of the chopper with a ramp behind just make it unique. My guess is for some this chopper will get old pretty quick. And for civil oriented rotor heads will have a blast with so much more possibilities.

Ever since Lock on came about. But I was more into WW2. So I been absent in long periods until Huey came along. Then MI 8. After that I flown regularly.

You can have him to hold for two minutes on ground to. All you need to do is getting to the airstrip first
-
It has traction on single pads. On Tarmac no traction. You need to hold stick almost all the way back and push it forward again when getting lift. That is a bit off.

need track replay Apache falls from the sky like a ton of bricks...
LuseKofte replied to AndreNL's topic in Bugs and Problems
Altitude and heat should have that effect. I tried to hoover Hind in heat and altitude. And it should not do that with full load. -
Having a copilot flying the chopper is by no means a cheat. Check the Kiowa. It is two pilots in the chopper.

There will not be a trial in release period. Maybe next year
