I would be sceptical. I don’t play for xp points. But I am an old grumpy fart. I will not easily be connected nor touch xp points with a grip. But I am not sure my attitude towards it is representative for this community.

For me more options is just that, more options. I like to have an achievement of getting where I want as realistic as possible. That is why I do DCS. But I do love the SU 25’s what others do is simply not my business. I will get shot down by them anyway. Full fidelity or not.

Norwegian airforce Seaking had a total loss of power on both engines over sea during a test ride after a major overhaul. My brother worked at the time as a technician on F 16 situated in a hangar next to this workshop. He said it was awful quiet, for a week after the accident. Pilots and technicians survived the accident with no injuries after a perfect autorotation one engine blew parts out the air intake and the other engine sucked it in. Rendering both engines a total loss and subsequently wrecked the chopper. It landed at sea and went on as a training chassis.

Reason for that is stupid customers like me. I just love the I16. And for that reason I probably buy LA 7 too. And I find a small sandbox I occasionally can have som fun with it. LA 7 might have been active when Mig 15 came along. But not sure when Sabre was there. As I recall pretty much all obsolete North Korean planes was destroyed pretty fast on ground.

@Tonker You are much better than me expressing yourself. Your point was exactly what I meant. I go on hard chemotherapy and my only side effect is total lack off short term memory. And continued lack of ability to find words. In special in a foreign language. So I tend to write myself into trouble.

Ok I too was testing out several pads. Same thing with the comms as you. First time I noticed a friendly car in a village I flew over. I did not see it in my second to fourth attempt. I figured I misunderstood and should have landed there To me these more civilian tasked campaigns are more valuable and challenging for being a chopper pilot than any action filled. So I am kind of upset not getting further. It is right in my alley

Restriction on this in real life was more on how the gun was attached to the chopper. we only have one way. While in Vietnam it was more a matter of imagination of the crew

I never claim unrealistic. I have spent far too much time in forums like this. I only talk about my preferences. I agree hind is over the top. But I genuinely feel more safe in a Gazelle , Huey and MI 8 than in a KA 50. It might be I am too careless in a KA 50 thinking it is a tank. I hide from missiles in it. But in the others I hide from everything. So you are right my feel of things are based on a lot more than the fragility of the KA 50. I just lost too much tails when using it to totally be convinced its dm is good.

Probably is. Just hope it’s not getting to ka 50 standards. Ak 47 should not affekt a chopper too much unless you are in a Huey down low. Huey is pretty much as you would expect

Yeah one or two missions require open door in flight. It might be a problem I always had problem making landing pattern looking good in this chopper. I am improving with these missions.

This is What I normally do. But if fired at Or being to close one need to tell him. I have petro on a four way switch on my collective I have no problems getting petro to aim at targets in Singleplayer at all. But flying coop with mates he can sometimes , meaning not too often be hopeless. I find him to be very reliable off servers. And no worse than George. I would like to have a track from one that do have problems. Because I can’t say my experience is the same compared to other choppers this beast take a lot of punishments. I wish KA 50 could take a bit more

I love this. Is it possible for me to change over to the Gazelle without breaking any triggers or copyright I have been a much better Huey pilot and always start DCs with some of these missions

He shut it down when you turn and that can be too late. I always order him to close before turning or right after missile hit
