1. Well, the IFF systems are not active but it would be nice.
2. I too would like very much, really you can already take a walk after the expulsion, just push the cloche while you are standing on the ground, or it would be nice to be able to get into the passenger seat of a helicopter. Eh, Arma 3 is also a nice game :)
3. I purchased Supercarrier just today and I hope to be able to play it as soon as possible.I create missions with the editor and often I'm just watching what happens, sometimes I don't even fly the plane but I take control of some land vehicle. (at the end of the battle there may still be some enemy among the wreckage) I can't wait to observe the flight operations as they take place from a few meters away without interfering perhaps during bad weather ^^ Direct the aircraft carrier, launch everything I have against the enemy and yes, the elevators will have to work! They are the heart of the ship, in the Pacific the Japanese Kamikazes threw themselves right against the elevators! Destroy those the ship is useless. ^^

Trim?

I read about the aircraft of the First World War type biplanes that the pilot used to shift his weight on the seat to cause a counterbalance in the maneuvers. From them it seems that the saying was born that the plane is piloted with the "ass" .. In effects when the planes were made of wood and canvas the weight of the pilot a little more to the right or left could cause a trim effect, for example in the case of a slight side wind, or as the fuel tank empties the lack weight in the muzzle or in the nacelle may vary the attitude and the pilot will again try to move a little on the seat to compensate.I had read that in some cases they carried bags of sand, a kind of ballast which were moved according to the need.
5. wanting to stay in the possible things ... I think the long-awaited P47 has arrived, I have this feeling :)

Trim?

I really like the plane and I also noticed that it beats down and you always have to hold your hand on the stick, I think they could solve it by adding the regulation function of the trim to the ground, before starting from the order to the ground staff of adjust the trim a few degrees. According to me it would be feasible and would remain a realistic simulation. Greetings to all I 16 fans.
7. Incredible, I have not seen requests for Italian fighters ... well I would find it really nice to be able to fly on one of these Macchi!
8. I want to clarify that I really love the simulation, especially the realistic one, it doesn't matter if it puts me in difficulty. About the loss of altitude after take-off, we need to take into account the effect P: it is the yawing moment that the propeller generates when you fly at high angles of incidence (flight uphill or downhill). This is caused by the fact that the blades meet the air with a different relative speed but I found a pattern that helps a little to understand. In any case I believe the effect in DCS is simulated and for this reason we can sometimes encounter difficulties when taking off with propeller planes.
9. n piston engines the rule to keep the temperature low is to keep the engine speed low (RPM), at the same time also the air speed helps, more air + cooling. In any case if you want to keep the keep the engine temperature high, I mean from 2500 to 3000 rpm and you will see that it will not descend more drastically even if it is going to dive. Another trick to lower the temperature is to use a mixture rich in petrol but in the Spit it can be regulated, at high rpm to use a rich mixture it helps a lot to cool the engine since the unburned gasoline is from lubricant and refrigerant but at the same time it raises the consumptions and risks to remain dry in the long journeys. Another expedient to cool the engine would be to use only one magnet instead of two, in this way part of the mixture is not burned and acts as a coolant / lubricant, as in the case of the rich mixture. So if I have to advise you something to keep the warm engine: don't go too fast and keep the engine speed high and you'll see that the temperature will always be high.Try.
10. I noticed these two items in the manual, I think they are incorrect. You probably have more important commitments, but every time I look at this diagram I wonder if it is correct. I have marked them with the highlighter, I would like to know what you think, thanks .
11. It is very important both in landing and in take-off to lock the steering wheel, in many planes if you do not end up in a disaster. Try for example with an F 15 to take off without blocking the nose wheel or with a B 109, the tail wheel must be locked and to steer the aircraft the low-speed differential brakes and the high-speed tail rudder are sufficient. I could bring many examples, this explains that this locking or unlocking device is of primary importance. it was done for a good reason.
12. From the point of view of entertainment, I think it would be nice to have a plane of big tonnage, transport and fuel refueling. At first, one of medium size capable of taking off from the aircraft carrier, in DCS there are already. refueling also to other airplanes of the same type that supply other planes. For example two AV 8 I think could be stocked, or two F 18 but I'm not sure I should read up better. I would start from an S 3 Viking or if we want a plane soviet a Su 24 equipped with special pods can refuel other aircraft. A cockpit with a simple extra key, the one that enables the outflow of the refueling tank.
13. Maybe you should make a pdf document with that manual, once done enter it in google translator, there is an option to translate documents if you've noticed. I sometimes translated whole manuals like this but they shouldn't be too big if not fails, I wish you succeed I found myself often in your situation.
14. It could also be that the change in structure forces the system to redo a series of calculations to ensure the exact route of the missile, given the computational capacity of the processors of that time it may be that too many movements in a restricted time space send the computer in "tilt". The calculations are perhaps not so complex but must take place within a given time, in particular I think that the most difficult moment is when the missile goes at maximum speed in its path.
15. These modules are perfect for those who love simulation, the trolley with a manual system, the cumbersome start-up, the oxygen to be regulated manually. I really like this module, it would be nice to be able to fly as a "parasite", as a support plane of the TB 3 bomber, maybe Octopus has already thought about it.
16. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/08/06/discovery-lost-ww2-mosquito-plans-will-allow-wooden-wonder-fly/ On the subject of the Mosquito aircraft, I recently read a news report of original drawings, someone might like to read the article
17. I do not think so Dear POWER5, I absolutely do not agree with you when you define this airplane a "cute little thing", put up for sale in order to support the development of other aircraft. According to me this airplane has a very different importance especially for Russian players who know it the story will be proud to prove it. This airplane that seems to come from a walt disney comic strip wasn't very fast but its shape gave it a great maneuverability and in the hands of an experienced pilot was almost unbeatable in the maneuvered combat. Obviously later the Russian aviation fielded more modern aircraft and for this reason it was abandoned but remains an icon of the Spanish war and the first moments of the Second World War.
18. Don't underestimate yourself, you can do it. Dear Buspelle I read your difficulty and I think you would do well to find a joystik like mine that has 3 axes, I don't use pedals, four with the gas axis. In any case it's a difficult plane, probably together with the BF 109 one of the most difficult and I do not advise you to try to fly it without first getting a lot of flight hours on the other less demanding aircrafts. It also works in reality: first the pilots have a good deal of experience on the trainers , less demanding planes but allow you to acquire a certain experience. It will be a day that you will feel ready, you will see and you will fly your I-16 with great pride and satisfaction. A lot of effort, great results and a lot of satisfaction. Don't underestimate yourself, you can do it.
19. I have this link for you, enjoy the reading https://www.razbamsimulations.com/files/DCS-AV-8B-Harrier-Guide.pdf
20. No wonder if the cannon has a wide blast of shots. According to me we must also consider the fact that it is a rotating cannon so the projectiles are also subject to centrifugal force and tend to move outwards. "Centrifugal force is a force that appears to act on a body that moves with circular motion" ... their considerable weight accentuates the effect or even the speed of rotation of the weapon would affect, I believe that you do not can avoid this phenomenon if not firing from a closer distance.
21. On a mission where you are using a helicopter and your targets are grounded, the trees are your friends and the houses too. They protect me but sometimes they are an obstacle, I wish I could launch two missiles to open a gap in the middle.
22. you should first avoid landing with a lot of fuel, usually at the end of a mission the plane has almost finished the fuel and has downloaded the bombs / missiles.Specially a plane taking off and landing from an aircraft carrier must take into account the weight of the weapons / fuel otherwise it risks ruining failure. Vertical take-off aircraft must take off with low fuel if they have many weapons and refuel in flight from a tanker at a later time.Good flight!
23. Good morning Mr Readmantab, I read his message and I would like to give you some advice to help you enjoy this beautiful simulator, in short as first airplanes I recommend those to propeller. For example the P51D that owns the complete armament, the Me 109k which is very difficult in the takeoff and landing compared to the P 51. Also the Spitfire and the FW 190 are beautiful airplanes. Later if you want to experience the "cold war" airplanes, there is Mig 21..super, and so on. Basically to take planes in this order, that is first the most dated and simple ones and only later the more modern ones up to airplanes like the A10 C that has so much to understand and a manual of many pages. Greetings and have fun.
24. Ciao Piccolo Papa,ti parlo in italiano cosi mi sbrigo.
25. Documents Hallo Catt42,I am a fan of flying and I have many modules, I have always found it useful to review this document written precisely in the 50s for pilots.:libro: If I find other materials I will put them here, sorry for my english :( good flight!: Thumbup: NO GUTS NO GLORY - A GUIDE TO SABRE COMBAT.pdf
