Tried setting more than 15m span and it started working. Still it won't scale down further than around 1200m.

Thanks, meanwhile I'll recheck if it would work in fixed beam. Anyway, expected experience with ASP-21 - accurately shoot down an unsuspecting target at 2000m. Same as with Sabre and now MiG-19. Question: why ballistic coefficient rotary jumps to default when the sight is not in manual? Its not actuated, isnt it? And how can we accurately employ our built-in GSh-23 if ballistic coefficient rotary is not on GSh position?

Just tried radar ranging on a friendly formation MiG. Range scale indeed works. Piper still does not scale 2000-300m, piper still does not account bullet drop. When?

А если у меня длинноходовый джой, и усилие в килограммах? получается у меня тормоза вообще двойные? Или джой аппаратно не пустит меня догнать "резинку"? ЗЫ - МиГ-29 на моем железе намного спокойнее и "линейнее", что-ли, чем сухарь. И вообще на МиГе мне догфайтить как-то легче, а должно быть по идее наоборот.

Fix faux with more faux? Please no. Just hope for proper multistage guidance functionality to be developed for the Phoenix. As for fairness - in real world only tactics rules. Anyway a proper redfor action plan is to be guided outside of the enemy task force's sensors envelope to get them into your launch envelope with the most favorable PK possible. Imagine a submarine wolfpack but in the air and mach 2. Of course its impossible with alive bluefor AWACS. So you get the sides motivations and objectives....

It was seen on the early cockpit renders. But its just channels setup panel and director needles on the instruments. My main concern is who would give you those directions. For this we need a human interface and an AI bot to have a Combat Control Officer(for VVS) or Intercept Navigator(for PVO) role. Basically, for RedFor, you have a RIO too, he's just couple of hundreds km away.

Would be glad if Magnitude will provide flight model graph comparison like Razbam started to do with their MiG, and procedures videos like Matt Wagner's producer's notes. Too pity 21 had a history of troubled ownership, and I suppose that for the current team, that many things with it would be easier to rebuild from scratch than fix.

Damn it, its a study sim and you either have the info and do systems by the book(and don't spread petty bullshit about oh its old who cares), or don't bother trying to get into the business at all. And we do have legacy SAM and airborne radars in DCS. Besides, I dont see a difference between caring about a 1944 bird and about 1974 one. Because warbird crowd are much more rivet counting than the cold war guys here and its normally accepted. And yes I heard a cool story from a Backfire crew member of how many AWG-9s did they fry by ECM - all such stories are good at beer until we have real docs. Its really a miracle that such a niche market as jet military study sims exist, and expressing a neglecting attitude is just shooting oneself in the foot.

А можно сравнительные графики сделать? с РЛЭ У машин и физических процессов нет характера. У них математические законы. Субьективно - "предупреждающая" перед штопором зона очень широкая. Самолет по крену и тангажу очень инертный и "тяжелый", "ручной". Расходы ручки для чего угодно очень большие. Ощущения как от управления старой волги. Вообще, без виара и метрового напольника что-либо сравнивать с реалом тяжело.

Sorry but NO: IRL 21bis max 8g at 0.7M, IRL F-5E max 7.3g at 0.5M. Energy fighter vs angles fighter. Real trials of South Vietnamese F-5 in USSR proved that in a plain turn fight F-5 quickly out turns the MiG. That was a cold shower and led to the development of trapezoid highly mechanized wing and vortex generating wing roots.

Подскажите знающие люди, за что отвечает палка "Упр Стробом" на панели СУО, а за что хатка ЦУ УР на РУС? Неужели строб захвата управляется с панели СУО?

Зависит от того сделают его по документам или как Су-27. Если по мануалу то помучаться еще можно будет но не более того. Фантом, Мираж-3, Мираж-Ф1, он при приложении должного скилла будет наказывать за счет разницы в зонах пуска по высоте. У Томкета в реале был единственный достойный противник - государственный бюджет. По 19му - подогнали штопор. Получилось загнать в обычный и плоский. Выводится легко отовсюду. Ощущений скриптовых скачков нет.

On basic pass - manually. On sustained turn performance, for example, I set altitude, speed, AOA and see how many G's will be on the dial, change speed, see next, write down, plot point to point. For more indepth - TacView has good plotting options. Basically, for any chart, pilot to get an X and see what Y would be. -

I'm testing the turn performance to the real charts, and in some parts of the envelope its a little better than real thing :book:, but still its like an outline of the real graph like half of the time, which tells us that generally simulation is OK. What bothers me is sim graph being unparallel to the real graph in some parts and suggests something looks wrong about the proportion of drag to AOA to IAS(like they couldn't nail the drag law that would be right for the whole envelope and overpowered the engine to compensate but this leads to an aircraft that is not a MiG :hehe:). But Im still not quite sure and continuing the examination :detective:. We have to be precise and legitimate in our complains guys.
