А может кто-то посоветовать текст об эволюции процедур и оснащения в авианосцах с конца 50-х и до сих пор? Интрересуют есть ли отличия полетов Ф-14 на заре карьеры например от того что разрабатывает ЕД, и подойдет ли это все будущим более старым чем Ф-14 палубникам(например если будет Корсар или палубный Фантом).

Да это считай вертикальный L-39ZA по подвескам и авионике. Научиться взлетать, висеть садиться и забыть. Внешку Кузнецоваа купил бы за 10 баксов(а заодно и платную кампанию за еще 10-15) пока она не устарела. ЗЫ - из-за того что будет CVN, не покупаю пока синие палубники, хочется взять сразу с крутой экосистемой.

Many instruments, switches etc are standard across all the red birds of 3/4 generation. I wonder if its possible to reuse ED instruments, switches, dials, annunciators - especially from Su-27 and Su-25T. Only concern is Beryoza, as ED logic differs from the real thing.

При чем аккомодация по расстоянию если речь об освещенности? При ХДР-е атмосфера нахождения на высоте передавалась лучше. То что даже в виаре абсолютно вся картинка благодаря линзам находится в бесокнечности - это да.

Жаль порезали HDR. По хорошему визор шлема, цветной фонарь итп должны не добавлять цвет а уменьшать диапазон HDR имитируя что нас меньше слепит и мы быстрее переводим взгляд в кабину и обратно. Круто же было бы например в сушке - взгляд не выходит за пределы переплета впереди - приборы не в темноте, посмотрел в сторону/назад - засвет. (хотя я не уверен что у сушки "тонировка" от солнца а не для радиопрозрачности или банальный износ)

Ладно самолеты, вышки радиосвязи, ЛЭП итп стали растворяться в воздухе! Причем только на виде из кабины с дефолтным, да и зумом почти до максимального! На внешних видах не пропадают. У Крымска как раз ориентир третьего разворота правого западного круга уже где то месяцев 5 как пропал из кабинного вида, виден только с 500 метров. А это здоровенная мачта, еще и броской окраски.

Takeoffs without, with, and with emergency afterburner are all by-the-book. Do you have "Applied aerodynamics" for them, or tube tests? Are you going to perform "virtual blows" of your model? It seems detailed enough for blowing.

Is it possible you consider a Su-7 afterwards? Or do it first as a testbed as it is much simpler?

Х-23 A-G guided missiles with Delta guidance pod. Its like Х-66 GROM but you can steer the hit mark and missile with hat switch, a progress compared to MiG-21 boresight guidance.

This sounded like a wife talking out her husband out of buying a muscle car. Seriously, MiG-25 had the longest stick among red birds of its time. Keeping the blue side busy from afar giving the 21's a chance to bite. Anyway 23 MLA is an excellent choice from any viewpoint.

27 has the same armor bathtub as the frogfoot. And its like a supersonic 25T, not 25A. Because T never really existed in the airforce, 27 gives us a historically legitimate TV platform. As for feasibility, I wonder why nobody says that in terms of avionics 23MLA opens the gate to 25PD :smilewink:

Почему промах по кабине должен заставить расчет покинуть посты? Если расчет продолжил работу после пуска ПРР с уровнем морали у него все в порядке. А упавший Харм уже упал. Или вы хотите сымитировать повреждение кабельно-фидерного хозяйства? Тут скорее вилка при моменте обнаружении пуска - выключиться/продолжать работу по ВЦ/атаковать ПРР. И это исторически так - вспомните как во Вьетнаме заставляли выключиться имитацией пуска. Я так и не понял, в ситауции со сплошным полем диполей, поле не сплошное и амраам успевает увидеть и выфильтровать цель в разрывах или он умеет видеть сквозь диполи, бетон, рельеф местности?

We are getting MLA, and limited to late K-13 and R-60. Any R-73 speculation is useless. And R-60 is decent enough for its era, its just small warhead makes it less effective. Still you can finish a crippled enemy with the gun.

Looking forward towards comparing your professional model R-24 to ED R-27. Maybe this would force improvements in it, good for the whole DCS ecosystem.:thumbup:

According to pilots who transitioned from MLD to Su-27 the only real difference was impressive fuel capacity of the latter. N001"Sword" does not add much range over N008 or N003, and "usual" R-27 are basically same as R-24. Thats what R-23/R-24 manual says at least. Or maybe real R-27 are better than in DCS. By keeping up I assume that when you have R-23 a Phantom will likely have first shot. If you have R-24 you may have a first shot against an F-15 if you are fast and reasonably high. As for R-73, of course its an improvement but its better to win with a rifle than with a knife :). As for helmet cueing, strap your head to a wall with industrial bungee cords and add a cinder block on top. Now you have an idea of what its like to cue your R-73/Aim-9X in a turn :)) Long story short, I dont know if its MLA and MLD pleasantly surprising me or Mig-29 disappointing me.
