  1. On basic pass - manually. On sustained turn performance, for example, I set altitude, speed, AOA and see how many G's will be on the dial, change speed, see next, write down, plot point to point. For more indepth - TacView has good plotting options. Basically, for any chart, pilot to get an X and see what Y would be.

I'm testing the turn performance to the real charts, and in some parts of the envelope its a little better than real thing :book:, but still its like an outline of the real graph like half of the time, which tells us that generally simulation is OK. What bothers me is sim graph being unparallel to the real graph in some parts and suggests something looks wrong about the proportion of drag to AOA to IAS(like they couldn't nail the drag law that would be right for the whole envelope and overpowered the engine to compensate but this leads to an aircraft that is not a MiG :hehe:). But Im still not quite sure and continuing the examination :detective:. We have to be precise and legitimate in our complains guys.
  3. The problem with virtual cockpit controls is that they don't give sensual feedback like in real life when we flip the switch and feel it click into position. But it can be substituted with sound.
  4. Definitely not possible. Still you can always limit the missiles to K-13. And countermeasure dispensers are part of the loadout and are bolt-on.

Still, I'd better buy an earlier version that historically fits more conflicts but still would be almost as capable as the bis - S,SM,MF - any '63-69 version with RP-21, ASP, and 5 hardpoints. And RP-21 makes a legitimate guidance for RS-2 and Grom missiles, unlike RP-22 which has a double beam and while being better against ECM cant guide beamriders which require a single beam.
  6. СЕИ(СЕИ-23) stands for Joint Indication System What bothers me is "Strobe Control" ministick on the weapon panel. Is it for Lock On cursor which is on the control stick on the MiG-29? If so its super inconvenient!

  13. It should not lock on anything. Still it must move into calculated impact point position, using radar distance and to locked target and user-dialed target size for air; radar distance, barometric altitude and pre-set target area altitude above sea level for ground impact point. Which it never did in the module for Air-Air, and ceased to do for Air-Ground. For MiG-21 they dropped the idea of cumbersome 2 displays and decided to leave visually invisible targets to guided missiles.
  14. Same here, no gun sounds, external engine is like either from afar or in really good ear protection, and I'm not sure but anyone notice any changes with cockpit switches?

  16. I use only cold and dark mission start. Never use autostart. The real world procedure to check the sight before starting the engine. The sight is obviously receiving power as wingspan, range, ballistic knob scales illuminate. But fixed net and piper don't appear until engine is started which is wrong and strange as engine doesn't support the ASP with anything the ground power and onboard inverters can not. Oh, and if I turn the engine on after all that, the sight scales appear on the reflector without touching anything sight or generally avionics related. Like projector has a separate power line than the sight in general, and that power line goes straight to the generator only.
  17. Start cold and dark, connect external power, set up everything with engine still of and gunsight started working? In my case it only illuminates its scales, but the piper is absent, so as fixed net.

  22. Значит надо смотреть сопротивление и скороподъемность, я так думаю. Вес при замерах точно как указано? ЧР? Где-то тут были жалобы что плохо разгоняется в пикировании - это может быть хинт на баг.
  23. Да, собираюсь построить и завести баги в багтрекере. Еще хочется как-то проверить все ли хорошо с лобовым сопротивлением безотносительно тяги двигателя. И где вы все берёте русскоязычное РЛЭ на бис? У меня только синее арабское.
  24. Пока предварительно. Атмосфера +15С 760мм. Без подвесок, заправка 1300л, бесконечное топливо. ЧР включен. У земли. М=0.7. Макс установившийся вираж получается при УУА=20, n=5. При достижении УУА=28 вираж неустановившийся, n=7(должно быть 8 по графику). 8g набирается начиная с М=0.8. Надо смотреть недостаток ли это тяги или подъемной силы планера.
  25. The saddest part is that art side of your projects deserve undisputed praise. But you guys get all the stones thrown into code! Seriously, important things are misimplmented since project start, other things get broken with time and only art fixes or improvements commence. It looks like you need to hire a coder. Im sorry, my chair is burning. I love the 21, bought it on the first week of selling. Just want it to get into shape under the hood. And buy a real papers corresponding Crusader afterwards.
