should ve paid more attention to your post before asking for info i guess:d hmm, it wouldnt be too comfortable to use it on top of my desk if i modify it like that. Maybe i can draw a portable mount for my chair on sw and bring that to a workshop to be made. Dunno how i can do it like portable and practical at the same time though. Gonna spend some time thinking on it. Thanks for your answers man much appreciated^^

There is a guy called, i think its recon stewart, on youtube check his playlists. The ones you are lookin for are, basic flight and advanced flight qualifications if i remember correctly. U will learn a lot from those videos. got it:d i saw couple of people doing some modifications on tm warthogs stick to make it longer, do you know anything about that? is it worth doing it?

i ve just tried it out, seems like a fun little bird to fly^^. I dont now if its cos of the axis saturation or not but it feels like there is a lot of delay between my inputs and heli s reaction. I will try changing saturation values just in case.

Thats the reason i dont enjoy it that much. Huey was my first sim helicopter experience and before that everything i know about flying a helicopter came from the Battlefield etc. Ka-50 s too smooth flying probably reminded me of that. I mean the first time i tried to land huey on the runway i actually managed to crash-land it on the field next to the runway:d. I think i ll enjoy flying that and youve convinced me, thanks for your answer.

hey yurgon, i wanted to get gazelle for some time now but i keep hesitating about it. I have the huey and i love flying it. On the other hand i dont really enjoy flying ka-50 that much, module is pretty good but i dont know what it is, huey is just different. And the reason for my hesitation about buying gazelle is if the same thing about ka-50 happen on gazelle too. Can you compare them a bit for me since you have both? ps: i dont mind learning systems or reading manuals, i just need to enjoy it^^

My problem is that im having a hard time fitting my custom charts while converting them to pdf. half the time its either too narrow or too wide for a pdf page. And on the rare occasions where i manage to create a good fit pdf page, kneeboards curved corners screws it up. So is there something like a template or page measurements that i can use to limit my excel charts so i wont have trouble after converting them to pdf?

Thats a really good idea. I have no experience on scripts but i know a thing or two on coding. They seem similar so im confident that i can manage. To be honest triggers worked just fine for the missions that i created for me and my friends until i tried this "loop spawning". If i can get away with leaving the lab a bit more earlier this week, gonna start learning more about scripting and mist. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -

Well this is pretty much the same thing i do to spawn new groups. I dont usually use "group active" trigger at the beginning like you did, is that necessary? My main goal was to create a mission where i can practice bvr and dog fighting against 2 AI. So 2 groups of fighters, if either one of these groups gets destroyed, both of them spawns again. I can do it with triggers using a lot of groups but what i wanted was a loop i suppose so i wouldnt be have to create 10 groups of fighters for 5 practice sessions. Maybe i can do it using mist. Gonna meddle with it this week. Anyway thanks for your time and help^^ This should do what i want then, gonna try it. Much appreciated^^ -

cos nobody answered for couple hours i thought what i asked wasnt possible but apparently it was cos of the timezone difference thx for the answers fellas^^ @EasyEB and @chromium i took a C class couple of years back, syntax used in mist looks familiar. Definitely gonna look in to that, it should be fun. @Winston 60 alright gonna post one here so you can check it out. EDIT: uploaded it. well not much to be honest cos i dont have any ideas. only thing i tried was. setting up a trigger which was [continuous action, group dead tanks-1, group activate tanks-1]. i also tried unit dead condition, this trigger works if i try to spawn a different group from the dead one like (tanks-1 dead tanks-2 spawns). but it doesnt work the same group spawning thing. i think it is cos of the "group activate" action i set there but i cant find any other action that can work. -

Hi fellas, Lets say i ve put down an a10c flight for me which is named flight-1, and ive put down 2 tank groups which are named tank-1 and tank-2. What i want to do is that whenever i destroy one of these groups, i want that same group which is destroyed to spawn again. for example if the group tank-1 gets destroyed, tank-1 should spawn again, not tank-2.

nice i can take some advices on that ^^ letme tell you what i did so you can point me in the right direction, dont know the proper names for the most of the switches yet but ill try my best. there is a little lever right next to the throttle that one is on thumb sw. the flap controller on throttle is on auto. speed brakes are closed. pitch trim is between 6 and 9( i keep changing the value everytime i try taking off so i can find the proper one for the payload i have on me which is 3 fuel tanks i think they are 275 gallons 2 rocket pods and 2 aim9s ). oh and the little switch right next to the throttle is on forward positon which makes the forward landing gear stand up straight:d. throttle is not limited so i can use afterburner. and i think that is all i do inside cockpit about getting ready to take off. after that i hold gear brakes, speed up the engine, release the brakes try to lift of somewhere between 150-160 knots. i can take off like this now but my problem is that i cant take off smoothly, i keep getting excisive AoA values so speeding up or getting some altitude is a pain in the ass for the first 15-20 seconds after take off.

i dont understand why people keep saying mig 21 is hard to land(unless you fall below glideslope too much and u cant see the airfield), this module is my first with asm. Took off on my first try with out a problem, landed on my first try without a problem. Never damaged the aircraft or broken gears, or flatten tires while landing it. on the other hand it took me 2-3 days of practice to learn landing a10c properly and i bought f5 yesterday, crashed it in to the airfield fences at the end of the runway 5 times trying to take off with full payload, stalled 3 times right after my tires left the runway.

Thx for the link yurgon i didnt even know that they did a Q&A on teamspeak, gonna listen to it tonight^^. You are right if this is the case , after all if you dont use these weapons in a situation like this there are things you are going to lose which are more valuable to you than a maverick. Correct me if i am wrong on this, i remember something like that its not the pilots but the operation command( i dont know the proper abbreviation for it) decides which weapons to load on the aircraft. If this is the case, then the pilot has the right to decide which weapon to use from the loadout that is allowed for him/her to use but doesnt have the right to dedice about what to carry. In the end he cant say lemme take a smart bomb with me, i m gonna drop this on an insurgent having his time with a goat.

IIRC There should be a selective jettison option inside DSMS. Press the corresponding OSB button for your empty racks that you wanna jettison. Press and hold weapon release button on your stick.

+1 on this one. I rarely fly below 95% weight and never crashed into a mountain cos of performance issues. My biggest problem is the sniper IFV s to be honest they are far more deadly than your weight ratio:d About that heavy load being unrealistic issue, i think you are wrong there EasyEB. IMO its all about the cost, it would be pretty dumb to use 500k$ worth of munitions on 3 insurgents with ak s and a toyota truck with .50 cal hmg mounted on it in real life. But if you can find a way to produce these same weapons lets say for 50k$, i can assure you they would carry and use a LOT more. I do like carring a lot of different weapons on the hog , you can tell me that its not the proper way or you can say that no a10c goes into a mission with that many munitions on it and probably you would be right but this is a simulation after all, i dont have to pay the 300k$ to use a cbu105. In the end the choice is mine, i can use my cannon to rain down bullets, get high and drop a bomb on the target, shoot a missile on him or get lazy and drop a cbu on those 3 tanks:d. About the OP s performance issue, i think its happening cos of the afterburner limiter on hotas warthogs throttle as EasyEB mentioned on his first post. Whenever you see veterans arguing (or "discussing" like cichlidfan said:d) about something on this forum, get involved. It doesnt matter you are right or wrong, you will learn a lot from them as i do^^.

I didnt pay much attention to it cos after i release the missile i usually keep the lock and chasing the target to make sure he is dead but as far as i know and from what i experienced so far, 27T or 27ET doesnt need any guidance after you release them. Still that being said im gonna try this one when i get home.

watch this playlist, this one is about su 25t but like everybody else said, russian jets are pretty much the same with minor differences on systems.
