  1. @FatSlapper im not sure if you want your problem to be solved or not.

  3. :D There is a saying in my country that we use in these kind of situations, i think u can translate it like this, hope is the poor mans bread.
  4. I think you misunderstood me. I understand that we need bonus points to get the %60 discount. The thing i got confused about is that the news letter said "we are allowing DCS Users to use their bonus points to take 60% off the cost of any DCS World War II aircraft.", they didnt say "we are allowing DCS Users to use their bonus points to take up to 60% off the cost of any DCS World War II aircraft.". So it could mean that even if i have 1$ bonus, i can get %60 discount with that on a 50$ purchase. I know this sounds irrational but thats what it says. edit: or maybe im just thinking too greedy.
  5. Concerning last news letter Im not sure this is the thread to post this but anyway, "Starting today at 1500 GMT and lasting until 0900 GMT on 3 July we are allowing DCS Users to use their bonus points to take 60% off the cost of any DCS World War II aircraft." Does this mean we can get %60 discount with any number of bonus points? Or do i need, lets say 60 bonus points for a 100 dolar purchase to get that discount? edit: just saw the thread for newsletter discussion, sorry for posting in another thread.
  6. I didnt tested on it much but, here is what i experienced. It only crashes while im in multiplayer, i generally play on 104th s server and i generally pick f15. Just remembered, it doesnt crash when i host a server to play with my friends. It doesnt happen during a particular event or moment but it usually happens after my second sortie while im returnin back to an airfield or during my second sortie while im searching targets or fighting. I remember seeing a thread about how to post error reports after a crash but i couldnt find it right now. So im posting everything inside the logs folder plus dxdiag and the crash report that windows give you. Oh and i didnt include the dcs.old.log file. My specs are: i7 6700K 4.0 ghz, evga gtx 980 ti ftw acx 2.0, 16 gb (2x8gb) kingston rams but i cant remember the exact model name ( they should be working on something like 2400 or 2600 mhz), asus maximus viii ranger for motherboard and game is installed on a 256 gb M.2 ssd. Edit: I got Mustangs_Textures_1.6_V1.20 mod installed. The crashing problem was happening before i installed it though. dcs error.rar
  7. Shouldnt you use right rudder when the wind is blowing left to right, since the nose of your aircraft will try turn into the wind cos of the weathervane effect?
  8. IIRC, there were some hidden man pads in that mission by the southwestern enemy artillery trucks, another one east of the first tank column and a randomly spawned sam site in the middle of sochi. oh and 1 more manpad unit north east of that tank column. They were a pain in my butt when i first started:d . Still, those units being hidden on f10 map is actually quite good for you. That will teach you to search and spot missile contrails. I can give you some tips on how to survive that campaign. Never ever fly over enemy positions while you are attacking a unit. Always egress (fly away) away from enemies general direction. Try to recon with the shkval before you engage anything, check the surrounding area of your target for antiair units. Dont get too close to anything that can fire at you effectively. Su25t had an IR jammer IIRC. Use that, pop flares and fly low after you engage something. That should do the trick against those nasty manpads. If you still wanna make them visible, you can always use the mission editor. That being said, i would leave them hidden if i were you.
  9. After you finish that Try playing piercing fury without the guided munitions and mavs. Use only mk82s. It could be sounding a bit boring but thats how i learned freefalls and its actually quite fun. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  10. really good article man thx. Apparently the author is a retired a10 pilot https://www.quora.com/profile/Lynn-Taylor-11
  11. i would check axis command in controls for flood light rotary.
  12. @Ftrdoc i dont think i understand your problem but like cichlidfan said there is no script. You just need to clear everything that are maped to that device and map them manually.
  13. go inside options, then controls. Choose "A10-C Sim" from the first drop down menu on the upper left corner. Choose "All" from the second one. Click on any cell under your rudder device. Press "Clear Category". Now Choose "Axis Commands" from the second drop down menu. Again use "Clear Category" on one of your rudder devices cells. Now map your rudder device as you wish. It should start working properly.
  14. My pleasure mate:thumbup:
  15. There is an indepth guide on youtube about cdu. I think its one of recon stewarts playlists, or maybe one of bunyapsims im not sure. About your question, i know 3 different ways to do that, first one is to use your aircrafts sensors to create a spi after doing that you should be able to see coordinates info both on your tgp and tad. Cdu sets ground elevation for you if you enter coordinates first. Second one is, you can create a mark point on your spi s location and copy its nav info to your new waypoint or just use these mark points for navigation. Third one is, you can use f10 map, choose your waypoints on it and if you move your mouse cursor on these points, you should see the coordinates data on bottom right corner. I use the second method but i dont copy them to new waypoints instead i name them properly and use them like waypoints if i need it. Edit: you can enter coordinates in two different styles, i prefer mgrs. It looks something like this 38T LM 56743 23789 Edit: Here is the playlist Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  16. only use the third one from the EXT section.
  17. "INS NAV READY" needs to be flashing on CDU screen and there should be a line at the bottom that says "T= 4.0 0.8" . Thats when you press NAV. Wish you said that you were distrupting the autostart sequence that wouldve cleared things up a lot:d
  18. your tracks folders directory should be something like this: C:/users/"your username"/Saved Games/Dcs.openbeta
  19. am i missing something here, i got only on and off options for HDR. no cold, soft, warm, normal.
  20. i think the NAV light wouldve been lit too in that case. Edit: You are right only EAC light is on if you press NAV but dont switch to EGI. But it didnt came back on after i kept flying like that for 100 km or so, like gazace is experiencing. Still i dont think this is the case, cos auto-start switches EGI on its own.
  21. Just tried both manual and auto start. Everything seems to work fine. Still auto start failing to engage eac is really weird. There should be an option in misc. section that synchronizes your hotas with cockpit controls. Do you use that? Maybe that can distrupt auto-start. You should post a track for both manual and auto starts. That would be helpfull. I would try uninstalling A10C module and re installing it if i were you, just in case.
  22. Edit: Nevermind, apparently i dunno how to read Edit: sorry for the 2 posts. Im having hard time managing my phones touchscreen while trying to wakeup:d Edit: anyway enough monkey business, does that Eac light stay illuminated from the beginning or does it go off and come back on while you are startin up Edit: but i gotta admit, that waypoint dependant eac light seems weird. Another question does the eac switch is on? Im asking this one cos if something that eac uses gets screwed up, u cant switch it to arm position it just goes back to off position Edit: another idea:d, can it be because you start moving before cdu aligns itself properly? Ive never used autostart so i dont actually know how it controls the startup but it should be following a startup procedure, so it should be doing the same thing every time. Maybe you start moving right after it finishes but before cdu aligns properly so u cant use egi and no egi means no eac. And it manages to align itself between wp1 and wp2 cos you start to fly level. What do you say can it be cos of this?:d Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  23. By ramp start, did you mean startin up the a/c manually? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
