  1. TMS right short
  2. I would bet on bad delivery. If you are sure the laser codes are same and laser is firing of course
  3. Just recorded , everything seems fine to me. Can you provide a track or a recording?
  4. Indeed. a10 amaa "How often and in what situation would you force correlate a Maverick? Large, poorly bounded target. Avoid at all costs."
  5. Meh, you should avoid using force correlate anyway.
  6. You can use the mission editor to create one.
  7. 1) You said it yourself, that armor is the reason you can make it back. 2) As far as my experience goes, anything with a high caliber cannon should be considered AAA. 3) You can use guns safely on any vehicle, AAA etc. Tanks are a bit more problematic though, cos you have to damage it enough to get a catastrophic kill. I only use guns on tanks when i miss my mk82's and just damage it but not get a kill. Edit: The reason im not using guns on full hp tanks is not that its in-effective, it can get a k-kill on target but whenever i try it, i fail. To be able to engage something that can fire back at you, you need to be precise with your controls. This means, you shouldnt turn your nose on the target until the moment you pull the trigger. You basically need to fly perpendicular to it until you are ready to roll in on target. During your roll-in, what you want is to make a single and precise turn which will end with pipper on target. As soon as the pipper gets on target you fire your burst and roll out. Its usually this "rolling-in and trying to get the pipper on target" process which gets beginners killed. Check out recon stewart's youtube channel , he has some nice videos showing how to do proper roll-in's. 4) You can use this document to learn more about the jtac comms and how to use them. Check out the pages between 55-62. Edit: Just wanted to add a couple more things to 4. answer. Jtac's are basically just trying to help you find the target, tell you what to engage it with and how to engage it. They can give you grid locations, precise coordinates or bearing/range info from an already known or easy to find location. For example, lets say jtac gave you a bearing-range info relative to a known friendly position. If you have that friendly position marked on your TAD (which is a green X symbol), you can hook that point, change the hook mode to "hook/cursor" and find that bearing-range position, create a mark point on it. So all you have to do is, understand the 9-line and remarks info then use them to find the target.
  8. You need to assign buttons to "HOTAS MIC Switch" positions from the "adjust controls" menu inside options. Forward is for vhf am, down is for uhf, and aft is for vhf fm.
  9. There is absolutely no reason to say something like that, have fun flying :pilotfly:
  10. I think someone else posted about this couple of weeks ago, something is wrong with the divert page. Use the charts in the kneeboard or select the airfield from the f10 map.
  11. You should contact the user support my friend. User support
  12. Cant say i played 2.5 a lot, just a couple of practice flights, since its been released but i didnt come across any problems regarding agm65's. Can you post the link to the bug thread if you have it
  13. You should read the a10c flight manual page 568 to 570. If that doesnt help, it means you are not with in range to lock the target.
  14. I'm using the keyboard for cdu controls too. It helps immensely. Although you need a hotas, something like a tm warthog so you wont need the keyboard to control the aircraft . I've attached my current cdu controls if you wanna take a look at them. Edit: If you are going to check them inside the game, dont forget to save your current keyboard profile before loading mine. a10 cdu.diff.lua
  15. Post a track or a video of you doing the ILS procedures. It takes too much time to solve problems like this one, without the help of a recording.
  16. There is no radio for a freq that low in the a10 if im not mistaken. So its pretty much irrelevant. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  17. You earn bonus points by purchasing modules and i dont think it is possible to share them. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  18. It means you can get yourself a discount up to %70 if you have enough bonus points. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  19. Have fun :) Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  20. For what its worth, I liked the rep system. I was not a forum guy until i started dcs so i didnt actually knew how the rep system worked. When i first realized an increase on my rep points, i tried to find where they were listed. Most of them were from yurgon with short messages like "good advice, thanks" things like that and it made me feel quite happy to be honest, it encouraged me to involve myself more with the forums. Since i could see the related post to every indivudual rep, i could check what i did do good there. I got only a single negative rep with an insult attached to it and that was for disagreeing with a guy, I just put him on my ignore list and didnt think on it any further. I cant say that that i cared about a number below someones name ( i mean i can just check his/her post history and decide for myself) but being able to comment on a post without crowding the thread with unrelated messages is really helpfull IMO.
  21. here you go: Unit pics Its not mine, so thanks goes to the creator.
  22. I thibk i have something like that, ill post it when i get back home Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  23. I like using laste for inputting wind data, its fun to do but its not necessary in anyway. You can release a mk82 from 10k feet agl with 10+ kts winds on every layer and get a direct hit on a T90. CCIP is pinpoint accurate without inputting any extra wind data. As far as i know, when you dont input any wind data IFFCC just sees the current wind layer you are in and calculates the rest of the layers from that single layer. Thats why that a10 pilot who did AMAA on reddit said this: "Do you input wind correction info into the LASTE or does the IFFCC automatically compensate in the targeting calculations? The IFFCC builds its own wind tables continuously during flight. There is an option to set your own values but I've never tried it out." Edit: Try it out yourselves, i just got a direct hit on a t90 with an mk82 which was released at 11k agl on 45 degree dive by using CCIP without any extra wind data. Turbulance was 39, and wind info on mission editor was 10, 21, 16, 14 kts from bottom layer to top.
