  1. True. Just a question, which year it will be.
  2. Hall sensors alone don't make it good. Even the mini-stick on the X52 can handle analog input better than that in the TMWarthog. The later is rather digital, like a coolie hat. I've never managed to not go at full speed. This was a major flaw in many reviews I read and I absolutely agree with that. If compare that to the comfort of the CH Pro Throttle mini-stick, you'll never again lose a positive word on the TM ministick.
  3. Yes. The TM Warthog is made of 2 independent devices. You can use the stick alone and IIRC you can even buy the stick without the throttle. Edit: Just checked - you can even buy just the stick directly from TM: http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_UK/products/hotas-warthog-flight-stick
  4. Very interesting stick! If you want full HOTAS-Functionality with tons of buttons and perfect for desktop-usage, I recommend the CH-Fighterstick + CH Pro Throttle. Most decent advantage over the Warthog: - Very easy to program, even with complex macros and layers - Easy to use buttons, switches and toggles - Very decent mini-stick (biggest flaw of the TM Warthog, IMHO) - And for me one of the biggest pros: You can easily put the throttle on a desk and still be able to reach all buttons on every throttle-setting without twisting your hand.
  5. Up to the point were everything is tomorrow - even yesterdays fixes for todays problems.
  6. IIRC I read somewhere, they were related to IFF.
  7. Same answers as always: It's the best module available for your kind of system. and If you are not happy with the software, why don't you start improving it yourself.
  8. DCS is improved on all fronts. Can't see how this is not sexy.
  9. Impossible. If you zip a coffee, you still have instant coffee. Fits perfectly with every eMail-Provider. Once you unzip it by adding water, you have coffee again. Same is for milk. But how do you zip a Sandwich? I'm pretty sure a footlong sandwich is too much for my account.
  10. Well, the question is: "If only 1 thing you could ADD 2 DCS what would it be?" So if only one thing could be added, I'd vote for an airplane-module as well. If the question was: "What should be next?" I'd certainly vote different.
  11. Same here. Front consoles work, upper consoles and most other parts of the cockpit are black.
  12. Or in other terms: Best part of a two engined aircraft: If one engine fails, the second still pushes you on to the next available crashsite.
  13. Sorry, mein Fehler.
  15. Though less "realistic" and smaller in scale, IMHO "World in Conflict" was better in many ways. At least it was easier to start cooperative teamplay. This really is an issue in most Wargame-battles.
  16. You are not alone. And I personally don't think that "this aircraft has been done so many times" is the whole truth why there is no DCS:F-16C.
  19. Did I see Mulder and Scully in that little video?
  20. DX11 is Windows Vista and Windows 7. DX11.2 is Windows 8 "based". Main difference of Windows 8 incorporated DirectX 11.2 is the ability to variably assign graphics memory (very superficially). Thus only needed textures are loaded and used, which increases maximum texture size and count tremendously. Seems like a nice feature for a flight-simulation. So I guess to make the best use of your graphics card and the engine, Windows 8 would be recommendable.
