In my experience they've been very ineffective for a long time already. It's probably a bug, since you really can't kill anything with them.

Depends on how you fight it. If you start to turn and burn with it, you'll probably end up dead. Boom and zoom is how you want to kill the bugger.

Could be, but that's really stressing it, plus PSUs lose some of their nominal power anyway as they age. So I'd still want to be on the safe side and get a beefier unit if I were you.

Exactly Fishbed. And I'd add the DC-3 to the list as well, a plane that entered service in 1935 and still flies commercially. Now that's longevity for you :)

Depends on MP. You've got like 80 participants, very much so. Whereas if you've got a 4 participant's COOP going, none whatsoever. Means the MP doesn't scale.

@OP: No, it couldn't bloody well be a trainer for other DCS props, on account of it being so bloody twitchy and hard to fly. Thanks for listening a dead (virtual) pilot :D

Nope, just the last in the queue ATM I think. ED's a smallish company doing all kinds of stuff other than DCS, so priorities must etcetera. Just wait is my advice.

Nah. On long flights, I'm finding I'm always having to take a little wee outta da window and that goes best when I'm standing. Don't fix a thing!

It's great that it's in progress. And it kind of has to be too, because DCS WW2 will never take off unless this is addressed. Regardless, I've every confidence to believe they'll sort it out eventually.

Absolutely. Bought the I-16 yesterday and a fully-modelled An-2 would also be a first day buy for me.
