Could be, but that's really stressing it, plus PSUs lose some of their nominal power anyway as they age. So I'd still want to be on the safe side and get a beefier unit if I were you.
Exactly Fishbed. And I'd add the DC-3 to the list as well, a plane that entered service in 1935 and still flies commercially. Now that's longevity for you :)
Hmmm... well it's apparently complicated but doable. No pointers to give I'm afraid, but there're folks trying to do just this and they've posted threads about it. Search the boards maybe?
Depends on MP. You've got like 80 participants, very much so. Whereas if you've got a 4 participant's COOP going, none whatsoever. Means the MP doesn't scale.
@OP: No, it couldn't bloody well be a trainer for other DCS props, on account of it being so bloody twitchy and hard to fly. Thanks for listening a dead (virtual) pilot :D
Well, since about 97% of the functionality promised was actually implemented and delivered, you should get a $0.15 refund or thereabouts. A penny saved...
Nope, just the last in the queue ATM I think. ED's a smallish company doing all kinds of stuff other than DCS, so priorities must etcetera.
Just wait is my advice.
It's great that it's in progress. And it kind of has to be too, because DCS WW2 will never take off unless this is addressed. Regardless, I've every confidence to believe they'll sort it out eventually.
