  1. Hmm...i just checked myself, i think he has a point. Most of the vertices match perfectly, the main difference in triangle count seems to be from the cockpit area. Anyway, even if they did reuse the model, it does not really bother me. Razbams F-15E looks fantastic and if it was not for this forum post i would never have noticed it. 1.   2. You could also easily open the .miz file with 7zip or winrar and edit the mission file with any text editor to remove some of the groups or units from the table

It happens for me every time when i select the tads video on the right mfd as the pilot. i made a short track that shows the issue, though it seems tracks do not record while the game is paused. the effect can be seen better when pausing the game and moving the external camera around the rotor which i did a couple of times while recording the track.   6. The file that you need to replace is in tech\SouthAtlanticAssets\Entries\Navy\ (ara_vdm.lua) Btw, you can also use GT_t.WS_t.ship_Oerlikon_20 instead of GT_t.WS_t.phalanx. Feels closer to the 40mm Bofors than the phalanx ^^

Well if thats the case... i compiled a list of ground vehicles over time that i thought would be nice to have in dcs someday. i usually don't like to suggest things, it feels like "demanding more" to me, while getting a lot of free content already. But i guess you might even be interested in some of them.   10. Probably the LST doing its thing, switch to the CPG Seat (if not already there) and set it to off. Currently George is not able to do it, so you have to switch it off manually

  12. Gut, das liegt dann aber daran, dass die CPU im MP stärker beansprucht wird als im SP und die GPU bottlenecked, das hat nichts direkt mit dem Mainboard oder der Pcie Version zu tun. Mit einer 4070 wäre dann vermutlich in jedem Szenario deine CPU der Flaschenhals im System. Dann gibts natürlich wieder einen Performance Sprung, sobald du eine leistungsstärkere CPU einbaust und mehr Potenzial der GPU genutzt werden kann.

Das sollte eig kein Problem sein, du profitierst dann zwar nicht von der höheren Bandbreite und Datentransfergeschwindigkeit von einer Pcie 4.0+ Karte, aber ne 4070 solltest du allemal damit nutzen können. Die Performanceunterschiede die ich bei ner 4070Ti bei Nutzung zwischen Pcie 3.0 und 4.0 gesehen habe sind so gut wie vernachlässigbar (im geringen einstelligen Fps Bereich)

  16. But what difference do spawn points even make when i can spawn a heli anywhere on land?
  17. Do you fly VR in the multithreaded version? i currently get a lot of stuttering in vr when using mt, the st version runs a lot smoother, with less fps overall though.
  18. Really? Huh...i guess my Monitor is just bright af, the increased contrast and depth looks really nice on my end, the brightness is about the same. Good thing this can all be adjusted in the shader settings tho, if the effect is too harsh for some

  20. Nope, eine Verbesserung tritt nur in Situationen auf, in denen die CPU so stark unter Last steht, dass die GPU nicht zu vollem Potential arbeiten kann. Wenn deine GPU also vorher zu 100% ausgelastet werden konnte, weil die CPU mit allem (zb auch trotz vieler KI Einheiten) schnell genug alles verarbeiten/berechnen konnte, um die GPU nicht zu beeinträchtigen, dann hat MT absolut keinen Einfluss auf die Performance.

  22. I had this version installed before the problem came up (2015-2019 - 14.28.29914) and this has not changed until now. My Modelviewer was working until fall 2022, my installed Microsoft Visual C++ Versions have not changed until after i had the problem for the first time. I dont think thats the cause on my end
  23. Thats what i was thinking. The MV is listed in the TaskManager with about 20mb Ram usage and a bit of cpu usage for ~4 seconds before it drops to 0. The files are all existing: null
