Based on DCS: AV-8B Harrier vids I'm watching, looks like ED caught on to the error and made the pointing cross solid when locked, flashing when not.

He wants all the aircraft info at the bottom to disappear

My bad:doh::D just don't know why I've heard so many other things about it representing a bad lock, etc

Page 570 states: "When the Maverick has locked on to a target, the Pointing Cross that represents the pointing angle of the Maverick in relation to the aircraft’s longitudinal axis will flash" I know, I have established that already :smilewink: But what does the flashing cross MEAN? As I have heard that it means that the lock/thermal contrast is not strong, or that it is off boresight. Just wondering if these are true or if it simply means that the Maverick is locked on to the thermal image

On the maverick camera there is a T-shaped cross that moves around to show you where the maverick is pointing relative to your aircraft. what does it mean when you lock a target and this cross flashes?

YES!!! This worked perfectly! Only thing though, decreasing it on the Stat page increases the slew speed, so instead of lowering it to 1.0, I increased it to 6.0. Thank you!

Yes please, sometimes it's very hard if I want to hook something small when the cursor moves so fast

Why is it that sometimes the TAD cursor slews very fast, and at other times much slower? It doesn't have to do with zoom level, i find that one minute the hook cursor slews fine and the next it is extremely fast

This is sort of related but I was watching Ralfidude video and the GCI said type 39 and type 21 while giving a vector to a Bandit. What do these mean and are there any other "types"?
