  1. Is that the Tamiya or Hasegawa kit? I have the Hasagawa in 1/48, never got around to building it yet, what with my DCS habit and all......anyways, looks like a nice representation there Bub!! SLUF life!!!!
  2. Sheeee-yit (spits out of corner of mouth)....you're on
  3. Insert the playing of "Taps" here....
  4. Thank you Serg!!! ~Rob
  5. Link? I don't have FB but usually if I click links I can access RAZBAM's page
  6. Pretty goddamn scary stuff I bet. It is neat to look back on something and see how your training kinda takes over in a situation that for the uninitiated would be "froze up" terrifying.
  7. "I forgot to mention, before we took off the pilot explained the range of motion is about the size of a quarter. And that is what I found, its tiny! Nothing at all what a huey must be like." I imagine it wouldn't be that far off either. My friend is a helicopter pilot, and he recently was telling me about flying the JetRanger for the first time. He explained how much different it was going from the Robson R44 to the Jet Ranger, and how little, apparently even compared to the Robson, you have to move the controls. I also read in a book a long time ago about a pilot who complete Army helicopter training and transitioned into the H34 and was having problems over controlling that as well, and that even the tiniest movement of the cyclic would move the aircraft out of it's "hover cushion". Apparently helicopters are very, VERY light on the controls lol....
  8. "Just speculating but A-4 had been developed since some time as an independent project. Joining forces or taking over abandoned project may be another fact to consider the A-4." That would explain all of the drinking on the beach pics by the Community A-4 devs lol.....but really I would say they are probably not doing that. they just refused a request to hop on their team and help from another dev who has another A-4 project going, stating that the reason for their refusing the help was because the team works really well together after having worked for 2 years as a team - it wouldn't make sense for them to join another team based on that.
  9. So the helicopter has been confirmed, does anyone know when it is going to be worked on, as far as the order of the RAZBAM modules? It would seem that the MiG-19 is next, but after that? Pavespawn, I know it's off topic, but could you be so kind as to tell us just one awesome story?? ~Rob
  10. Brinkyeti, Thank you for posting that, it's a GREAT starting place for me!! I'm not much of a jet guy so I usually need help getting stuff organized..... I have yet to run it, I got wrapped up in doing Huey training for the guy who is more or less taking over for me while I am away for work - I won't see my computer, puppy, or wife again until the 1st :-( Anyways, I have these downloaded and will be installing and running them on the New Year. I'll certainly let you know how it goes. Thank you so much!!! ~Rob
  11. I always thought this helicopter was just amazing. I sincerely hope we do get this helicopter, I'll quit work just to nerd out on it lol. Pavespawn, pretty neato job, thanks for serving!! I bet you have had some very interesting experiences being on these for a career. ~Rob
  12. I would love stick and throttle, if you don't mind!!! Man that would be super duper helpful. Thanks!!! ~Rob
  13. I just got home and finally got an Open Beta up and running. I was wondering if anyone who has the CH Fighterstick USB HOTAS set up a profile yet and would be willing to share it. Thanks in advance! ~Rob
  14. If you want to see a really bad one check out the main gear on the P-51 Mustang in IL2:1946.....they modelled the gear door to match the extended oleo, even when it's on the ground. Man that used to erk me.....
  15. I'm normally not a Brit paint job guy for any plane, but that winter camo looks damn nice on that Harrier. Real nice work there!! Thanks for your hard work, I will be downloadimg that one! ~Rob
  16. I didn't think of this before, but the 229th is a helicopter unit, they have a handful of real life Army pilots, they would be a good source of in for for you as well!
  17. Can you link that here please? I generally stay out of this forum section and am behind.....
  18. It is a little off. I do see, however, that In the first posted pic with the overlay the planes also aren't at the same attitude, nor are the green lines lined up on the exact same spot.
  19. I've read in a book abkut the Nightstalkers that the pilots split flight time because NVG flying brings on fatigue. One will fly for a while, eyes outside, the other is on the guages and radios. After a while they switch.
  20. Would this crossover to the X55 just fine except for your TDC control?
  21. Exactly Sierra......
  22. It display a fairly important role in the Kosovo campaign, escorting VF-14 and VF-41 on a lot of their missions. I'm more of an EA-6A fan, but That's just because the Prowler is butt ugly to me.....however, much as it is for me, looks don't mean anything lol.....
  23. Keep it up!!! I personally like the update pics but Don't need them. Happy to know you are working to bring us a really nice Scooter. Y'all take all of the time y'all need, it'll be better for everyone in the end!!
  24. Ok, thank you very much. I am too. I enjoyed flying his add on cockpits for Intruder in SF, way more realistic than the stock TW plane.
