Thank you for that heads up! I can't remember if anyone mentioned this before, in comments or videos. Hard pass for me then! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Exactly! Campaign creators of DLCs have already stated they will probably do it, and there is no reason for ED not to "update" the free ones, even if we can do it ourselves. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Seems like a file permission issue. You are not or have been running DCS with admin rights perhaps? Just a shot in the dark. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Complaining about that number sounds like it's updating, a massive one, and running out of disk space. Never heard of that regarding RAM.

No, problem! Didn't get it was directed at me anyway. [emoji4] And now you got me all jacked up for a possibly simpler solution! [emoji1] [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
You can do that with file names in Notepad++ too? Didn't know that, gotta try. I've been using PowerRenamer part Windows Power Tools from SysInternals. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Please enlighten us how ED is supposed to fix it? You can do the temporary work arounds above, or just wait a couple of weeks for all the AV vendors to whitelist the false positives. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Exclude the Steamapps folder under Program Files (x86)\Steam\ in your Anti-Virus solution (Ie. Defender), THEN perform a file verification of DCS in Steam. Hopefully that will solve it. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Perform a repair of the core files if on Standalone or a file verification if on Steam, and uninstall all mods from Saved Games. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Remember GTA I and II? [emoji848] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk I always wondered why iDrive became a stupid wheel and not just multiple hats on the shifter! [emoji1] After all the BMW logo is a propeller! And SAAB could really had led the way ahead of its time IMHO! [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Not sure what you mean. You had a controller issue with the F/A-18C, so it's fine, while it could have been posted in the general section for controller problems, and it would probably have made more traction. But don't worry about it.
Guys! Never delete the Saved Games folders! Rename it! Some users reading might quickly jump to the "solution", and in the process completely wiping every setting for their controls without a backup.
Cheers!
Because the SAAB didn't have the numbers as the Viper/Warthog grip has obviously. And what volume of millenials and Zs would even know what a SAAB was these days? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
