Introducing the VPC Stealth Rudders
Barefoot Bandit replied to Cyph3r's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I am curious. Though, looking forward most to throttle, to be honest, seeing as my rudder set up is pretty much top notch already. Z... -
Dat shipping... Cheezus cries-t... Rather buy from the UsS I think! I buy a lot of stuff from Aliexpress, that's the first time I've seen DHL as the sole option... Z...

Looking good. Hopefully, it'll be waiting in my PO Box in 3 weeks when I get back. Z...

Hhhmm... Can you buy just the mounting plate with those? (the one the stick sits directly on). I could use that for my chair mounted under the arms... Probably easier to buy premade than to get one made up. Z...

I suspect no one looked to check that July one was a Saturday... Z...

Well, it is the weekend. I'd expect the update on Monday. I expect most folks are not mad, like me, and work 7 days... Z...

New pedals or fix for old
Barefoot Bandit replied to taxman1's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Check out Baur's pedals too, if you have not purchased already. Really nice, love my F3's. Z... -

VKB-Sim Gunfighter Review & Mount Bracket
Barefoot Bandit replied to VampireNZ's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
The pro version looks like the go for choppers, by the looks of it. Z... -
Thanks Cyph3r, welcome back, and hopefully a lesson learnt. I hope there weren't too many panicked bail-outs, as I truly want you guys to succeed. The more people we have making good quality products, the better for all. Looking forward to having the Mongoos in my filthy paws. Z...

Awesome news, thank you Tane! Z...

I really do hope they sort things out, I'm hitting the panic button yet, but I am glad my card comes with good protection policies. I'm not going to make any wild guesses as to what is up, but I do sincerely hope they get themselves sorted quick smart, and someone gives us an update. I'd be happy to keep my order going if it is a production issue/delay, and it's admitted (I'm sure many others would too, though there would also be those that bail out in such a situation), but good communication is the best policy for keeping customers on side. I have been amazed at how forgiving clients can be in my own line of work, if I just call them up and let them know what's going on. I've made the (very rare) "I'm hung over and can't go do your job today" call, and whilst not happy, they have been forgiving, and long term has earned me their trust. Z...

Remember, it's possible there is some illness or family emergency that prevents Cypher from being able to update, having said that, I certainly hope everything is ok in terms of family and health. Z...

Hopefully I get mine before July 1 - we have new import laws kick off in Aus then... Z...

Seems a fair trade. Z...

You'd be amazed at the stuff people and companies Copyright And that's just the one of those crappy click-bait sites. Z...

I think the simple answer to original post, is "We'll have a better idea once both of them are properly out in the wild - VKB is missing the MCG, and VPC is missing their base. I can't see how this decision can be made before both can be bought. As I've said before, I'll be buying both. Z...

Thanks for the update - much appreciated. Z...

I did it this way, and finished up in about 3 hours. Most of the time was spend digging around for screws. Take note - the right screws and fittings tend to be in bags with the right parts. Don't do what I did and rip it open and spill it all out on the floor like an old school box of Lego! :music_whistling: Z...

There is an alternative to Western Union - you can always pay direct via international bank payment, now, when I ordered, I was looking to pay with my FOREX account that I have for my business, sadly, there is a minimum payment amount, and I was well below it (I also hate WU - they are expensive and have crappy rates - though Paypal are as bad, if not worse, just more convenient), but you'll need to talk to the man himself to work out your options. As for duties, I am in Australia, and we have a $1000 limit (nothing below $1000au gets charged duties - this is changing though, sadly. Thanks Jerry Harvey - you suck). hopefully a German with experience can help you here. As for the F3 pedals and pricing - I'd argue both statements are probably true, as shipping prices may vary, as well as purchase price (currency fluctuations, price rises - even ordering assembled or as parts - building yourself saves $50. I did this, and it's fun, hoping to have a "how to" vid done int he next couple of weeks...). Best to ask Baur for pricing directly and go from there. He is VERY fast to reply, incredibly helpful, and generally just the sort of person I want to give money to because he is a great person to do business with. Z...

Exactly, I, personally am not really stressed, as I still have access to all the buttons I need within thumb-reach. Z...
