  1. Cold start, one variant shakes like mad, looks like the landing gear are extended to different positions. The other tips to it's nose. I'll check again after bit to give better detail. Thought it was just me.
  2. Possible? Feasible? I think it'd be great to have them for those bad situations where you'd need them.
  3. I had to go to .605 for the mask size to accommodate Rift; .9xx seems super huge. It almost seems like your setting isn't taking for some reason.
  4. Impressive. I'm running a pretty decent rig, and was having FPS issues with the Hornet in the Gulf; this solves that. Be sweet if ED could implement something like this. Thanks for your work!
  5. I exited and restarted, built another carrier mission, and the first one for whatever reason, had the TACAN some 80 miles south of the actual carrier and stopped counting down range at 83.7 miles, and remained at 83.7 miles while I was riding along the deck. I did a "Ctrl+R" and then it was where it should have been, and behaving properly. I have no idea what happened there.
  6. Before I call anything a bug, I want to make sure it's not user error. In the ME, I placed the Stennis, edited the TACAN from "1" to "74", on X. Start on the ramp, cold. Fire everything up, wait for the INS, switch to NAV. Set the TACAN on the UFC via TCN, On, CLR, 7, 4, Ent. Select TCN on the HSI. I get an indication in the HSI, cannot edit a course, and while the carrier is traveling east at 27 knots, it seems the TACAN beacon is remaining at the initial starting point. Also, if I go to the DATA page from the HSI, then check TACAN info, it shows 1x instead of 74x to which it was set in the ME. This is post todays update. If I'm doing it wrong, I'm ok with that, but what am I doing wrong?
  7. Check your display settings on your desktop, and ensure your scaling is less than 150%
  8. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213325
  9. I'd really love some 1990s VFC-12 action if anyone wants to do it. The Kola Peninsula scheme was used as pictured from the early 1990's into the early 2000s at least.
  10. There's a pin in each main and the nose gear even though they're not real visible here, a pin in the tail hook, and a few other spots.
  11. IRL, if one of the TEF are screwed/missing/inop, you're not supposed to deploy them.
  12. Not sure what speed, it was a downloaded user mission, but yes. +1
  13. The hooks on these, as well as every other Air Force jet with a hook in real life, is to possibly be used in emergency landings, and to assist on tie down for high-power turn engine testing.
  14. Trim until you get your bracket, use as little stick input as humanly possible. Adjust your descent with throttle.
  15. Night flight ops in theater. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2o10jw
  16. It's update 3 for 2.5.2, so it's open beta.
  17. There are tankers in this thread. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=202688
  18. Worth every penny and then some. Even if it's not your favorite map, purchasing these products (should) help ensure future development. So, yes, I think the more we "help keep the lights on" the better it will always be for all of us here.
  19. I don't know how to do it, but if anyone with interest wants to, I'd love to see this, and with the pictured markings on the tail and centerline tank.
  20. I'm not using ssaa either.
  21. Stabs with traces of hydraulic fluid, combined with early morning dew make for a quick and surprising slide.
  22. I have this as well
  23. I didn't check FPS, but I have no noticeable difference with rain on.
  24. I know it's been the subject of multiple "bug" reports, and may very well be a bug. However, I think the current setup for NVG should be retained at least as an option. I've gotten used to, and grown fond of it, as I can see everything without the need to switch anything off or on, or attempt to peer under anything. It did initially give me all kinds of "weirdness", but having forced myself to use it since it's been implemented, I find it pretty useful the way it is.
