The only problem with that though is the timing of the mission. You would have to back the mission start time out a little to make up for the start up. It is what it is. Minor issue in the grand scope of this sim. I'm sure user campaigns will start poping up in a couple weeks that will include the ramp start. Thats why they make the editor. They know they can't make everyone happy, but they can offer the tools for us to be happy with our own imaginations. That was deep. SunDown

I agree. A little disappointed that all campaign missions don't start from the ramp, cold and dark.

Fess up! Who else here is having a hard time?
SunDown replied to Ramstein's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
I'm having a harder time hovering that I thought I would. Its just going to take time, I know that. So far the hardest thing for me to learn was catching a 3 wire on Janes F18, but this is starting to get close to that. Thats the beauty of it though. I mean if it was easy then what good would it be. Great job ED -
You wont be dissapointed. But you will get frustated. This flight model is scary, but rewarding after a couple hours of just flying. Then a couple hours of trying to maintain a route. Then a couple hours trying to land (where you wanted to land). Then a couple hours.....well you get the point. Truely a great sim.

GTATC (Ground Troops Aviation Training Center) would like to recognize TUSLER as the first pilot to be GTATC Ground School Qualified (GSQ). In order to be GSQ'd, candidates must complete 12 written exams (240 questions) that cover the entire flight manual. Task standards are to finish each exam 90% correctly. Please join me in congratulating TUSLER. SunDown

Got to be going over 50 km/h to get the scale up the left side. Anything below that and the Velocity Vector is displayed in the middle of the HUD. Section 4-5 Number 8.

Look over sections 2-66 and 8-3 in the Flight Manual.

SunDown replied to Teknetinium's topic in Screenshots and Videos
I'm waiting on the western release. Just wondering what skins are available for the US forces? Great screens. -
And make sure you have Tactical Information set up for you ABRIS. Verify this on the MAP>OPTIONS.

Damn fine work Alpha. You have set the standard. This is my checklist once the western version is released. Thank you for all your work SunDown **have you been to AFG? I just got back in May. Spent a year over there as an ETT for the ANA and ANCOP in the 201st Corp. Worked close with the 82nd and USMC**

Section 6-16 of the manual -
Sounds Great. I was hoping you were going to continue work on it. Very professional, very authentic. Great work. Alpha, you were wanting feedback....and you may have this in your updated version, but the current version makes no mention of the HUD in preflight

I wish.... That a "Commo Check" could be added to each object in the radio menu. Upon activation, if your radios were properly configured, then the receiver (tower, wingman, ground crew) would reply with "Roger, out".
