So, maybe you can answer the question that just came up in that other thread: Will the Russian version have English tooltips available? It was my understanding, that the Russian version was pure Russian text and speech and that the translated labels of the first producers notes were merely the first steps toward the completely translated version.

Really? Now that would be cool. I remember some statement here, though, that the Russian version was in pure Russian and the tooltips were only one step in the process of translation to help testers that were not able to read or understand Russian. I could be wrong, though, so maybe somebody can shed some light on this?

In LockOn the view does not move forward - it zoomes in. So you won't get that working in LockOn.

I guess it's just way to early. Given the complexity and the detail of DCS I guess those who have a copy already are just trying to get the game managed, foll around with the options, graphics and setups. Hopefully there will be more information next week.

This is not IL-2 v2.0 It is a WW2-Flightgame with simulation-touch for the X-box 360. Merely some of the models were taken from IL2. Nothing else in common. I guess he was refering to Boberro. Well, anyway, I think it's okay to wait years with everybody else, but it's a *lot harder* to wait 1/4 year and more while others are already playing it.

Just look at how many people joined the forum in the recent days, because of the apparently immanent release. I don't know if it was the best approach if that was the main goal. But again, that was my personal opinion and experience. I don't know enough of ED's situation to judge on that and I don't mean to.

LoL I just reinstalled FS, too. My hopes were to get the English manual with the Russian release. Now Wags already posted we have to wait another month for the manual, I guess I will first play the demo before the full. Pitty. :sad_2:
