  1. Click on MAV on PCA. IIRC it will then show MAG on PCA and it will be deselected. MAG is selected automatically with CNM Magic MAV has to be selected manually whith CNM Neutral or CNM Canon If Narrow search mode is selected while in MAV/MAG it should remain selected when switching to MAG/MAV. That's how i understood it at least ;)
  2. @Zeus: Seems that going from either CNM Canon or CNM Magic to CNM neutral trigger a Magic seeker unlock/reset. So for example, we having AA Gun selected and having a Magic lock with MAV Search, if you want to select CNM Magic to shoot at the locked target from CNM Canon with 3 position switch (like in the real Aircraft), Magic lock would drop while passing by CNM neutral. So Select CNM Canon, activate MAV search, get a lock Select CNM Neutral on the way to CNM Magic (3 position switch), then lock is lost and MAV is reset to MAG on PCA Discussed here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=270228 Is it how it works in the real aircraft, or should lock remain active while passing through CNM neutral (and then would need to be corrected in the game)?
  3. You still have to extend speedbrakes manually on the F-16, as extended speedbrakes are part of landing configuration for F-16. On the M2000C, you have nothing to do to set up the plane for landing, except slowing down to lower gear (as for every plane). Slats extension are handled automatically depending on AOA and are retracted automatically once gear is down. There is no specific Fly By Wire gain for landing, no flaperon, speedbrakes are not used for standard landing. Oh, and M2000C has a AP mode that follow automatically LOC/GS once captured :music_whistling: Clearly, it has nothing to envy to F-16 and F-18 on the avionics IMO. Mirage 2000 has nothing to envy to any 4th Gen fighter on any level in fact : BEST PLANE EVER ! (ok i might be a little biased)
  4. Yeah, the option is not taken into account. So you have to press the assigned button at each start up. My 2 cents: Not issue for me as cold start is way easier without pilot body hiding left and right consoles. So i just press the assigned button when i'm ready to Taxi
  5. Looks like you have CNM Canon selected from PCA line you describe, hence the fact you dont get AG symbology on the HUD. CNM Magic and CNM Canon are override modes. Make sure you have selected CNM Neutral which will then take PCA selection into account, and display AG Attack mode on the HUD when WSC fwd is pressed.
  6. Indeed you won't see a cross anymore when designating a target in CCRP as it's a Mirage 2000D feature, so has been removed from 2000C. Cross only appear in 2000C to show a Waypoint when you're within 10NM of the waypoint. Doesn't mean you can't designate a target anymore, as when pressing AG designate you will still get the wings on each side of the diamond and get the solution cue on the HUD for CCRP release. Magic Weapon is selected with CNM magic on the throttle, click on MAG on PCA will only activated magic seeker as IRST (will display MAV on PCA when selected), but won't select Magic Weapon. User guide has been updated to cover that MAV search new functionality Most of your issues seem to be related to not being up to date with latest updates. i won't blame you as information is quite spread.
  7. Haven't you mix 530D with AG weapon (other than canon) ?
  8. Yes that's a bit strange as Zeus mentionned in last update that Rho should be in km and indeed it was the case in last Beta version. From the changelog, you could think it has been reverted back to Nm for Rho values. Still downloading the update, so i haven't checked yet. EDIT: Just tested it, indeed Rho-Theta values are now back to Nm/Degrees, which makes sense IMO (i was a bit surprise with the Km/Degrees). Issue on Offset Altitude entry windows in feet is still there (https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4266905&postcount=15). Seems to be only a display issue, but quite disturbing.
  9. ED is working on it, from latest Viper mini-update: Tuning NWS authority
  10. Rho has to be entered in km now indeed in the open beta. No change for theta Enter delta altitude of offset point in meters (right window in PCN). INS bombing works fine with metrics value for offset point.
  11. PREP 00 is your current location, hence the continous update on lat/long coordinates on the PCN. PREP is set to 00 at start up. Other waypoints will have fixed coordinates which is what you want as you want to fly toward a fixed waypoint. So if you want to see your current location, you have to make sure 00 is selected as PREP.
  12. Thanks zeus, if we lock a new target, will the ghost contact of previous target remain on VTB (if no RAZ is done)? Can we have several ghost contacts displayed on VTB?
  13. It has the same engine than all Mirage 2000 family : M53-P2
  14. If you only see a red triangle, and no blank square on the same spot, then it's only a surveillance/fighter track displayed from Datalink. Your radar is not seeing it, so you can't lock it. Work your radar to find it (play with radar elevation, azimuth scan, bar scan)
  15. Seems that Rho value has to be entered in km now, so not a bug. Check here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4268309#post4268309 Create BAD with Delta Alt in meters (right window) and Rho in km and you should be fine (change units for ruler in DCS option to get value in metrics).
  16. Already reported in dedicated bug section with track file. Would help a lot if you report bug in dedicated section with track file instead of opening thread in general forum without any info that could help dev to reproduce it  Try entering value in meters in the BAD Delta Alt feet windows (left window), it will transform it in feet value when you'll press INS on PCN (bug) Also enter value in km in the BAD Rho window instead of value in nautical mile (bug). You should then get your BAD at the correct location, hence a valid calculated release point.
  17. Issue is with CNM Neutral that is bugged right now. Not specific to Magic. See https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=263258 Basically, when going back to Neutral, it doesn't reset mode correctly (try from Navigation mode for example, PCA top line will not get back to standard Nav mode when CMN switch back to Neutral from CAN/MAG). I'll try to provide a track with all differents scenari in bug section. That's probably why you can still shoot magics from CMN neutral Magics are not selected from the PCA, only from CNM Magic. MAG/MAV on PCA just activates them or displays they are activated, you can then use MAV search with other weapons selected on PCA or even in Nav mode with no weapons selected.
  18. You're right ! From the updated manual: VERTICAL / HORIZONTAL SEARCH INDICATOR. Denotes current general search mode of the MAGIC II missiles - either vertical or horizontal i missed that detail in my first reading. Not a bug then. Will remove it from the bug section
  19. MAV vertical narrow search icon is not correct when selected from PCA. Shows a horizontal icon. When selection from Magic select, icon is correct. Will report it in bug section
  20. Don't use RDO, not implemented.
  21. If NAV mode is supportable (at least steady RDY/ALIGN indication), INU will switch internally to NAV mode (even though INS function knob stay in STOR HDG or NORM position) if it detects any motion that would degrade alignment in progress. This is called AUTO-NAV. For a NORM alignment, if INU subsquently detects no motion, it will automatically activate a pseud align mode called Nav Auto Realign Feature (NARF), resulting in improved INU unaided navigation accuracy, particularly if aircraft have been taxied to a new heading at least 45° different from original alignment heading. AUTO-NAV/NARF operation will continue as long as NORM is selected. A full performance NORM alignment can be continued once the aircraft remain stationary by selecting NAV mode and then reselecting NORM.
  22. Are Auto Nav and NARF implemented ?
  23. He probably meant that it will take more time to get a lock as Magic seeker will follow a pattern. You can see in the video that it can take some time depending on bandit relative position and pattern selected. And as we won't get the seeker reticle while search pattern is performed, we can be sure some will complain that it takes for ever to get a lock...
  24. Yes when you have high drag. You'll get the CCIP piper and will be directed toward target after passing over IP. But there is also a bug in this mode, as you can't perform position update (reported in bug section). PI mode need to be fully reviewed
  25. CCRP release is not possible anymore indeed, CCIP release in PI mode is still working. Reported in bug section.
