From your picture I am seeing m1, M2, etc. Meaning motor one, motor 2. Each m1 or M2 connector has two wires. So m1 has wire 1 and wire 2 for motor 1. Same for motor 2. Each motor has two wires to bring power, positive and negative. So both wires in M1 is for motor 1 and both wires in M2 is for motor 2. Could be the circuit but I don't know how to check that without breaking the seat. You would need to disconnect a working motor say from M6 and connect the wires to M1. If that motor runs, it's not that circuit.

It is good you used yours every day. Since December I used mine maybe 5 times before discovering the dead motor. It's funny you mentioned why no one else makes them. I see several massage chairs on Amazon or online that look just like the jetpad. I even saw a thread on reddit where one user was interested in taking one of them and turning it into a jetseat. They never did the job but at least it's been thought about. I am still looking around for a 12v motor that maybe I can buy a soldering tool and solder the old motor off, then solder the new one on. I'm just afraid adding a random motor I find may fry the whole seat.

If you've uninstalled ssa completely yes I would delete those keys. Or like the previous user mentioned, use cc cleaner or Revo uninstaller. It should delete any found keys that are unused after something is uninstalled. -

That's good to know, thanks! Thank goodness for open xr, I was about to throw in the towel with the G2 and dcs VR! No matter how much hardware I threw at it, it was still a headache to configure and have it work for a month or two until another wmr or steam update or dcs update came along and tanked performance. -
It's been 4 months since I bought it but I've only really used it a handful of times. Luckily it's just one motor that quit. I haven't received a reply from Andre but I'm sure with the whole situation right now in Russia and the postal service suspensions, nothing can be done even if it's in warranty. Which is why I was inquiring if anyone else has had luck replacing the motors as it seems a few people have had motors quit on them too. I love the jet seat for immersion but I don't think I would buy one a third time at this point.

Is there still an issue with updating EVGA precision x software to the latest version and running open xr? I remember reading this somewhere so I have not been updating the EVGA tool because of this. -
Tried using some silicon spray on the motor that does not spin. Still does not work. I can feel it slightly hum when I test all the motors but no movement from it.

[Official] SimShaker for Aviators

I think I would start my looking in windows registry (regedit in start ---> run ---> regedit) under hkey_local_machine under either the software section or app data and look for anything in the registry named as simshaker. Obviously don't delete anything there if you find something in registry as simshaker until you completely uninstall ssa again. Sounds like since you did a clean install of windows and reinstalled dcs there wouldn't be anything crazy interfering with the software yet somehow it is. -

Can you also go to user/app data/local folder in windows and look for simshaker there? I would uninstall it via Windows control panel and then delete and references to it in app data and then check your drive for anything simshaker related and get rid of that too. I also wonder if there is a windows registry key sitting there causing issues. -
I wonder if these will work as a replacement? I guess it also depends which model of JetSeat you have. The FSE model has different motors. https://www.amazon.com/Black-5000RPM-Vibration-Massage-Cushion/dp/B07YHC8DNT/ref=sr_1_5?crid=ZS7A4D0X11Q6&keywords=dc+vibration+motor+12v&qid=1650329821&sprefix=dc+vibration+motor+12v%2Caps%2C68&sr=8-5 These also have wires already attached so I am not sure what is involved in using the existing wires from the seat. Probably have to remove the wires and solder on the existing wires from the motor that is dead. But this is just me guessing without knowing the full details if these would even work with the control board.
-
The plastic is probably a gel glue that is used to hold the electronics to the foam pad. My first jetseat order had a lot of it on the wires/board/motors. This order uses a much smaller amount. I will try some silicon spray but I wonder why it was recommended in the initial email to change the control board and motor if only one motor stopped working in my case.

Does it look similar to this? https://imgur.com/a/4TB869E

I am wondering if anyone that has a Jetseat from the eshop at Andre's was able to find replacement motors? Perhaps on Amazon or some other shop within the U.S? My first JetSeat broke so I bought a new one from the eshop. I had it about 4 months and one of the lower left motors stopped spinning. I contacted Andre via email and he mentioned he could send a control unit board and motor under warranty but I would need to send the old parts back. My reply was that I am not sure if I could send the replacement parts back with the Postal service suspensions? Waiting to hear back on my email. In the meantime, has anyone ever replace one of these motors? What type of motor is it and what is the voltage required?

That makes sense since it's been happening every time I attempt AAR in this mission. I head past waypoint 5 north then turn around and fly back to 5 and at that point after some time I can find the tanker. That guy also loves to turn while trying to refuel. Last time I actually tanked in the hog was 2-3 years ago so it's a bit difficult now.
-
I had this issue too. I had to press the TACAN button several times for it to show the tanker on the hud. I wasn't finding him at waypoint 5.

I tried getting closer than you in the screenshot but then Biff started acting weird and pitching up and down several times. Eventually he ended up below me for some reason. Once I see the open beta update I will run it again. -
I think it could be since I don't have a page file on my main drive, even though DCS is installed on another ssd. I will set one and see what happens. Last night I uninstalled SteamVr and WMR for steamVR and reinstalled them along with the new Nvidia drivers. This was the first time I had seen this error and the motion reprojection setting was the only change I had made aside from bumping up the per app resolution.
-
I like your guide that you put together for your DCS settings. Going through it I noticed I had the motion Reprojection settings in WMR for SteamVR settings set to disabled. But in the Per App resolution of Steam VR settings I had motion smoothing to enabled. Once I changed the reprojection setting to the "Steam VR per App" setting I got the "SteamVr has encountered an error and needs to restart" while I was running a pretty busy campaign mission. During the beginning of the mission there was also lag and stutter. I'm using a 9900k at 4.9ghz, 32gb Ram, and a 3080Ti. Have you ever run into this? Seems if I set the reprojection back to disabled the crash does not occur randomly while flying. I am running stable steamVR but WMR for SteamVR beta according to Thud's DCS VR guide. Latest Nvidia drivers, windows is all up to date. I was surprised because when I had my 1080Ti I never got this error. At this point I am very confused on what the proper WMR settings should be after I've upgraded my GPU. I figured going from a custom resolution of 74% in per app settings of steamvr to 80% would not cause a big impact but it may have at this point. Wanted to see if I could squeeze a bit more clarity.

investigating Mission 2 + 3 Experiences
sze5003 replied to Ready's topic in A-10C Iron Flag Part I Campaign
Got past mission 2 part 2 now. What I had to do is circle around after taking off. I first made a left turn over the speedway on to waypoint 2 but that did not trigger Biff to take off. So I circled back to Nellis and flew over the runway. He was standing there at the hold short line. I turned toward runway heading and then I saw Biff start rolling down the runway and he took off. After that I just went towards truck stop and turned left when the voiceover came through that I am making a left to 248 over truck stop. The rest of the mission played out fine. When I landed at Topenah I tried to contact ground. The text says 127.5 but I could not get that on the VHF radio for some reason. After I made a right off the runway the voiceover said 127.25 but that also did not trigger any voiceover. Not sure if I entered it correctly as the VHF has something like 1 2 7 .0 .00 available inputs so I couldn't tell whether I should have been on 1 2 7 . 0 . 25 or 127 . 5 . 00. Either way I parked somewhere and shutdown and I still got 100%. Track file is too large to upload here but here is a drive link to it https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tsqpR5lgM24mMRLO1wXgrAWMzjLMOenf/view?usp=sharing -

I think I mentioned the same thing, as long as you keep 14-15 knots ground speed while taxing to the runway, this is probably why I never experienced it. Also on take off I usually set 5 degree pitch up and hold 180knots pretty strictly..use the path autopilot if you need until you get to 5000 feet. Also helps with needing to change radio frequencies while you are supposed to be climbing. -

I finished mission 2 last night. I'll try to do part 2 tonight if I get time after work. I didn't seem to have any issues with the AI not taxiing. There were a few times where he would be somewhat slow but by the time I got to the runway he was behind me. I don't know if triggers get messed up if you taxi too fast. I always keep ground speed at or below 15 the whole way to the runway. After take off I set autopilot to path and keep 5 degree pitch up with 180 knots. Flight lead always seems to catch up by the time I am half way to waypoint 1, sometimes by waypoint 2 he's making his way in trail. The only time I had an issue was mission 1 where he can't land on the first try so he does a circle right before the runway and lands on the second attempt..after that he just seemed to already be in his parking spot on Thunder ramp. -
Was flying the A10C II last night. I was getting vibration feedback on the motors that still function on my jetseat.
-
Is the Jetseat SE from the US partner the only one available shipping from US or is the regular pad an option too? Managed to get my k908 working..it was a bent pin in the power adapter. But bottom two motors stopped. I gave them a few punches but still nothing. Could be some pinched wires or dead but I haven't cut the foam that far down to check.
-
Thank you. Only thing I do not have is a voltmeter to check the power output despite the led not lighting up. I'm assuming it's dead and will be looking forward to order another soon. This thing lasted a long time with me sitting on it every day. I could also cut the fabric on the back and look inside.

I'm sad to say my KW-908 Jetseat that I ordered years ago has stopped powering on. Have not flown in what seems like 8 months and I plugged it in today, but no red light on the control box. I'm sure my adapter works as I've tested it. Something inside the seat pad may have broke. I knew about the newer models but never got a chance to order. I see the shop is currently closed until March 20th. Have people still been putting in orders? Sadly I thought I would be fine without the Jetseat but I can not fly without one now!
