  1. Looks like you need to update your nvidia driver. You won't be able to run a reverb on Intel graphics very smoothly.
  2. Yes you should be within the warranty of HP, contact them. I had to do a return on my first one and the sales team had to order me another one. For some reason they wouldn't do an advance RMA and I also have the pro version.
  3. I dunno I'm from the US and bought directly from HP it says 1 year. This may vary in Europe I suppose.
  4. Yea I'll be stuck with mine too. I'll just have to sell it for lower or give it to my brother but he's using an RX 580 already.
  5. Yea and lets expect to pay $1600-2k for a 3080ti when it comes out in Q4 2020. It sure as hell won't be priced similar to how the 1080ti was. Glad mine is still going strong but lately I've seen evidence of it calling quits every now and then.
  6. I'm gonna wait for the 3080ti. That ti models are the ones that are worth it longer term. But honestly there is no need to use 500% at all especially since we know how nicely dcs is optimized for VR.
  7. Depends on the room...if you have any windows or doors near. The cameras looks for certain things to set scale. I only use one lamp and it's not that bright. But I haven't seen too many tracking issues.
  8. Do you have tracking issues in other VR games ? Or is it only DCS?
  9. You just put the headset on and wait for wmr portal to start up. From within the headset you can use your mouse to open the desktop app and it will pull up your desktop in VR and from there you can double click your dcs shortcut. It will start steam VR too and launch dcs.
  10. Same thing I do too except I don't have that utility. Haven't had any issues like this assuming I have proper lighting. My desk is also in front of a large window.
  11. Do you mean windows wmr for steam VR? I've also never heard of MRP.
  12. I haven't tried the A10 in a while and I'm still on 2.5.5 too. Last time I checked the A10 had a new cockpit but the HUD looked the same to me as it did before the new cockpit textures.
  13. They would have to make it work so it's switchable for most flexibility. I don't see why activating your headset and adjusting options in steam VR before going into DCS would not be possible anymore. I have not done any research or testing on how much memory is used when wmr and steam VR are both being used. I bet it's low but I do have my suspicions as last night I attempted to use my Reverb for something other than DCS..which to me was weird. Upon launching Half Life Alyx I was greeted with an error stating I was low on gpu memory. But I didn't experience any hiccups, lag, or issues. Some screen refresh flashing every once in a while but nothing crazy to say it was giving me problems. Hence I figured it could just be a bug with this game but then I really started thinking about both steam VR and wmr portal both running.
  14. This is just how it is for wmr headsets. Until dcs can offer native wmr support. There might be an option to drop you back into steam VR room while loading in the steam settings but it's not ideal either.
  15. Yea I posted an article similar to this a few threads up. I bet this time they will get it right and it will cost more. But don't worry it's not out anytime soon.
  16. I'm curious to see what they will come up with after the Reverb. Looks like hp is working with valve and Microsoft on this and says it's coming soon. https://www.theverge.com/2020/3/23/21191386/hp-microsoft-valve-windows-mixed-reality-reverb-vr-headset-new-announce-half-life-alyx
  17. The 2080 is similar to the 1080ti and the performance gain isn't that much of a big difference depending on the games played. The only additional part is Ray tracing which doesn't come into play here for dcs VR. 32gb ram is definitely more useful.
  18. Not really to help with the sweet spot but only if you have bad vision in general you can get lenses that snap in to he reverb so it matches your eye glasses prescription.
  19. What is the best place to order the reverb prescription snap on lenses? Last year I used Widmovr's site for the Odyssey. But it doesn't look like they have them for the Reverb.
  20. This would explain why the training missions are not in the sequential order others expected them to be in. It all stems back to what's complete as a system and what still is work in progress. At least this way we can't say it doesn't have trainings at all.
  21. I never use my controllers. I just launch the virtual desktop from within the reverb headset using my mouse and then I click my dcs icon shortcut on the virtual desktop and everything loads up. Only other thing I need to do is press alt+enter to go full screen so my mouse doesn't wonder out.
  22. Also to note if you decide to run over 100% SS it's probably advisable to set PD to 1.0 in dcs VR settings option. Anything above 1.0 will add to your steam super sampling percentage which will cause issues specifically for performance.
  23. So you reduced your steam SS down from 100% ?
  24. In the US at least for me they didn't do that. I had to tell them that this was part of their contract. I guess it depends on who you get and how knowledgeable they are. I had to send mine back and order another.
  25. I would hold off on buying a 2080ti right now unless you absolutely have to. I'm running it fine with a 1080ti and a 8700k. The 3080 cards are coming this spring I think. I'll be upgrading to a 3080ti when it's announced.
