  1. A more realistic fuel management based on the payload, total weight, time required for the route flown. From this, the mission editor should display/calculate how much fuel you need.
  2. Hello, I'm currently working on a solo player campaign for the AH-64D. And I want to ensure that the start of the AI colleagues is not a rolling start from the runway. Instead, start vertically from their respective parking position. How do I achieve this with the board tools of the DCS Editor? So far I haven't found anything on youtube or in the DCS User Manual EN 2020.pdf...(or I can't see the forest for the trees )
  3. Hello, I'm a bit surprised by the following statements from Chuck's Guide: "I would personally not map anything to the flaps since they will be set in AUTO mode most of the time." I was always of the opinion that the flaps are mostly in the CRUISE position? Except for takeoff/landing. However, I haven't dealt with the module for a very long time and am familiarizing myself with it because I want to create a campaign for the Harrier. In Chuck's Guide as well as the 'Handbuch' Harrier Manual CH 1-15.pdf I find little or nothing on this subject. I would be grateful if there could be any constructive comments on the subject of FLAPS handling on the AV8B.

  8. Hallo, heute im Sale habe ich mir die Battle of Krasnodar Kampagne gegönnt. Bin seit 'Urzeiten' mal wieder mit der Mig-21 unterwegs. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen dass das Kneeboard auf der linken unteren Bildschirmhälfte angezeigt wird. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das man es nach rechts verschieben kann? Evtl. durch anpassen einer config-Datei?
  9. Hello, I started playing the Red Flag campaign for the M2k today. I noticed in mission 1 that the time information for Berger 2-1 as given in the mission briefing Nevada M2K M01.pdf, page 7 does not match the time information in the mission editor. In addition, the wingmen Cotton 2-1 and Cotton 2-3 are missing on page 7 in both the CHARLIE pattern and the LANDING pattern.

And if it was/is that the KA-50 has never used these updates that are to come now, then it should not be implemented in the module either. Because then the statement 'the most authentic and realistic simulation' is simply not true. But you bend it as you need it! However, you mention President-S...is that supposed to be a special version of the KA-50? On the Internet you can only find the Ka-50N "Night Shark", Ka-50Sh & Ka-50-2 "Erdogan" versions. On the other hand, I'm glad that this old but iconic module continues to receive attention. And the update may bring it more into focus again. The update may open up new possibilities for creating interesting and good campaigns... Personally, I'll wait until the update is out, take a look at it and then decide whether I'll get it or not.

Hi, The only thing stopping me from buying this campaign: I have to buy the Syriy card as well... maybe at some point when more campaigns of this high quality appear (maybe for the Apache or the Hind or the Mirage 2000C?). Until then, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with Persian Freedom. @GroundPounder SIM Please keep it up and make good campaigns in DCS!
  14. Klar, wird sehr wahrscheinlich noch dauern und man muss warten was raus kommt. Aber es ist doch jetzt mal GEIL das sich beim Tornado als spielbares Modul endlich was tut! Ich drücke dem Entwicklerstudio sämtliche Daumen dass sie das hinbekommen! Für mich persönlich steht fest: Alle Neuerscheinungen sind für mich uninteressant bis der Tornado da ist!

  17. Hi, I have a similar problem since the last 2 open beta patches: I called the full repair function & deleted the fxo and metashader directories. If I then call up DCS, I see the splash screen after a short time and then nothing happens for a long time (even after a good 5 minutes nothing happens.). It only continues after I have called up the task manager.I have to do this once, after that I no longer have this problem.
  18. So when I need info for the AH-64D in DCS, the CASMO videos are my first port of call! There is currently no alternative to this. Unless the vids from Volk All right, tornado. A long term issue in DCS... Would be the crowning glory for me, too!

  23. But it was like that, too, IRL. That's what ED says. And ED wants to simulate as realistically as possible. Now ED is implementing it more realistically, but now this implementation doesn't fit for the 'gameplay'...
  24. Hello, I think it would be a useful addition if the Mission Editor had the option of calculating the fuel. I think because of a button. This becomes active when a route has been planned (with a landing point at the destination airport) & the payload of the aircraft/helicopter has been set accordingly. Of course, the idea is not fully thought through (I assume if you take more time for it then there might be one or the other pitfall that you would have to solve). But we're playing a simulation here, isn't the block fuel also important?
