Hallo, Da bin ich echt gespannt wie das MW-1 umgesetzt wird. Ob das auch auch so 'reinfetzt' wie bei der BK-90... Was die HARM & Kormoran angeht: Wie groß war/ist die Rolle des Tornados bei SEAD/DEAD Einsätzen und Schiffsbekämpfung? Gibt es da irgendwelche Berichte dazu? Ist bekannt ob ein deutscher Tornado jemals ein feindliches Schiff mittels Kormoran versenkt hat? Bezüglich Sidewinder: Wenn ich mir die Posts hier so durchlese verstehe ich das so das wir keine Chance haben die M-Version zu erhalten? Und wie war denn die Aussage von AviaStorm bezüglich WSO-AI? Gab es dazu von denen ein Statement?

Finde das klasse wir er das macht. Wenn das nur nicht so teuer wäre...wobei ob ich mit meinen 43 Jahren überhaupt noch den Flugschein machen dürfte...Gedankenspiele. Ich bleibe bei DCS. Werde die Videos noch ein paar mal anschauen und versuchen es in DCS so gut es geht nachzubilden.

Hallo zusammen, ja, ich will dieses Modul eigentlich nicht. Schaue mir aber auf youtube die Videos dazu an. Und langsam wächst mein Interesse. Ich denke mir halt, was die Flugzeuge betrifft: Du hast als Doppelsitzer die F-14 schon. Zockst die aber so gut wie nie. Jetzt einen weiteren Doppelsitzer, dazu NOCH ohne WSO AI...bleibst eben bei der F-16 & FA-18. Aber was die Bedienungsfreundlichkeit betrifft: Und wie ist die im Vergleich F-15E zur F-16C?

Well on page 309 of the manual this switch is called the MINELAYING SYSTEM MASTER switch. Since laying mines is not implemented in the Mi-8 in DCS World (see page 305: "The armament systems of the Mi-8MTV2 helicopter include unguided rockets, cannon and machine guns, free-falling bombs, and airborne minelaying systems (not implemented in simulation)" this switch can be ignored.

Then it's time for me to get the Syria Map. Fortunately, the summer sale is currently on...

I just don't understand why Red Flag & Stoneshild isn't updated to the A-10C Tank Killer. And I find it annoying too. Everyone else has long since done so.

Hello Rotorheads, I'm still excited about the last update of the Gazelle. What would interest me now in detail is the comparison HMP400 vs. GIAT M621. Effectiveness, penetrating power. The HMP uses .50 caliber, the GIAT uses .79 caliber. (In DCS we can still choose different types of ammunition for the GIAT, I don't think we can for the HMP. I don't know to what extent this is simulated in DCS, however). Btw: During my research on the internet I found out that the manufacturer FN also has a gun and rocket pod RMP LC.

Hi, Ne, kann man nicht. Es gibt für die L-Variante keinen Laserentfernungsmesser. Das musst du 'schätzen'. Man hat ja bei der neuen L-Variante die Möglichkeit auf dem Co-Pilotensitz auf dem Bedienpanel einen Schalter zu bedienen. Da steht A,1,2,3 glaube ich (Hatte gestern zum 1ten mal die neue L-Variante getestet daher kann ich es dir nicht besser erklären). Und je nachdem was du dort auswählst bekommst du im Periskope Striche angezeigt. Anhand dieser müsstest du die Entfernung 'messen' können. So hatte ich es zumindest verstanden. Im Periskope siehst du einen Pfeil welcher die Ausrichtung des Helikopters anzeigt. Zeigt dieser Pfeil nach rechts od. links musst du mit etwas Pedale in die Gegenrichtung den Heli wieder ausrichten (bspw. analog der Mi-24). Wenn diese Abweichung nur noch minimal ist bekommst du unten rechts einen roten Punkt angezeigt. Somit schauen Periskope & Heli in dieselbe Richtung, und du kannst feuern. Das ganze ist jetzt mehr herausfordernder (für die L- als auch M-Variante). Aber gerade das macht so viel Spaß & hat Charme! Hind & Gazelle, mehr brauche ich in DCS aktuell nicht

Hi @all The video mentions the Mi-8, but I think it can be applied to other modules as well. I find the video very helpful, thanks to the creator of the video.

Better than any comedy show...delicious.

Personally, I am currently more happy about this than about a new map or a new module! Considering how long the Gazelle has been in DCS & how long we've waited for these updates...Let's hope it won't be too long before we can enjoy the 'new' Gazelle. And thanks to Polychop.
