I just wanted to report it as a bug. But then everything is settled.

With today's update, the manual has also been expanded to include Chapter 10 Special Equipment. I think it's great. It's not in today's changelogs though.

Ist für mich jetzt auch neu...super klasse dass das funktioniert!

Hi, I'm just guessing: Are the many mods you have installed responsible for this? DCS.openbeta\Mods/aircraft/A-4E-C/entry.lua DCS.openbeta\Mods/aircraft/BRONCO V1.08/entry.lua DCS.openbeta\Mods/aircraft/DCS-SK60-Mod/entry.lua DCS.openbeta\Mods/aircraft/a-29b-community-main/A-29B.lua DCS.openbeta\Mods/aircraft/a-29b-community-main/entry.lua Civilian Assets Pack DCS.openbeta\Mods/aircraft/Hercules ver 6.8.2

Ja, also das hört sich doch sehr schräg an...!

The same thing happened when BS 3 was introduced. For 10 dollars. This upgrade offer was only available for a month, I think.

Door Gunners & External Hardpoints
kotor633 replied to kotor633's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
I know that and it wasn't my question. My question was and is why you can only use the DoorGunner if the hardpoints are installed? As soon as the tick for external hardpoints is removed, the door gunners are also removed. Which, in my opinion, is nonsense. What do the external hardpoints have in common with the DoorGunner? -
Hi, In addition to what AeriaGloria has already listed, I would think of an additional display (see screenshot, analogous to the Mi-8 or UH-1) for Sling Load operations. And isn't it (according to Chuck's guide) that the bombing system isn't fully implemented yet? That would still be a point. One question: would the UPK-23-250 be an topic as an armament for the Mi-24P? null

Hi, ich fand's interessant, daher möchte ich das hier teilen:

I handle the Mi-24 here parallel to the Mi-8 and what is written in the Mi-8 manual, page 221, chapter 7.11.5: The autopilot system is engaged for all normal flight operations. The pitch and roll channel is normally engaged throughout the flight from takeoff to landing. Yaw and altitude channels are used rarely. When performing vertical takeoff, one must enable “ROLL-PITCH” channel (pilots, operating Mi-8 in Russian Federation, normally do not engage “YAW” channel before takeoff). When performing rolling takeoff, engage only “ROLL-PITCH” channel. Engaging must be monitored with help of lamp-buttons, which should be green for engaged channels. Landing approach, braking, and landing are normally performed with the autopilot channels “ROLL” and “PITCH” engaged. Yaw is only on for me when I fly bluntly from point x to y. In addition, Automatic MicroSwitch Off, Pedals Micro Switch Button (Y) and the spring on my MFG Crosswind pedal are unhooked and I can fly the Mi-24 very precisely.

Hi, Now that multithreading has found its way into DCS (kudos to the developers again!), I would now like to see the following (finally) implemented in DCS: a halfway reasonable, more realistic ATC (sorry to mention it here and i know you don't like to hear it but Falcon BMS managed that very well...), a larger selection of call signs (Uzi, Pontiac, Colt,...how boring. Why are there for the FA-18, F-16 and the Apache a wider selection here and the rest has to be content with the previous one?), a somewhat more realistic fuel management (which, for example, calculates a minimum of required fuel in the mission editor based on flight time, total distance, total weight).

Why can I only use the two door gunners in the Mi-8 if External Hardpoints is checked? Makes no sense to me. I can only explain it by saying that the door gunners are set via the Pods menu item. And pods also run weapons like the grenade launcher, GUV-8700 or the UPK-23. It would be good if Belsimtech changed that. That you can also use the Door Gunner without External Hardpoints.

Und jetzt das ganze noch für die Mi-24. Ich finde von deinen Videos kann man nur lernen! Mir zumindest haben sie das ein und das andere gebracht.

Abbreviations in mission description unclear
kotor633 replied to kotor633's topic in MAD AH-64D Campaign
Alright thanks. Yes, I will have -
Hi, In your Mission 1 guide you write: "Destroy AFV and ART targets." What do the abbreviations AFV & ART stand for?

Hi, I still don't quite understand what the (subtle) difference is between an attack helicopter and a gunship. The Mi-24/35 is called a 'Gunship'. And the Mi-28/AH-64 as 'Attack Helicopter'. Does it make a difference that the Mi-24/35 can transport additional troops? And/or the armament? Does anyone of you know any websites/books where you can read here?

Hi, Yes, that would actually be interesting!

Hi, I had installed the NS 430 module on 03/21/23 (see screenshot ns430_popup.jpg). I could use the NS 430 in the Mi-24 as usual (pop-up window). At this point I had version 2.8.3.37854.1 Open Beta installed. Then yesterday I installed the update 2.8.3.38090 Open Beta. Now the NS 430 module is no longer displayed in the Module Manager (see screenshot ModuleManager). So I can no longer use the NS 430 as a pop-up. In addition, the integrated NS 430 in the Mi-8 module is also no longer displayed to the co-pilot, although it is activated in the Module Manager and the 'NS 430 allow' checkbox is also set in the Missions Editor (see screenshot Mi8_no_implemented_NS430. jpg & track file). I use the MT version of DCS. Mi8_no_implemented_NS430.trk

Hi ED, Yes, really a very good step forward! With my Ryzen 5 1600 & Nvidia 2070 I have between 15-20 more FPS. Only VSync must not be active, because then I see streaks when I use the F3 or F6 key. Other than that, I haven't noticed anything unusual so far. I am very pleased. I see no reason for me to use the single thread version anymore.

Hi, Zwar nicht von ED, aber immerhin.
