  1. can u attach your mission file here, I will take a look at it Best guess there is a line at the top of the mission file telling it that it needs a mod (that u dont really need anymore)
  2. I have removed the spit from any of the MP missions I host to work arround this issue :(
  3. sweet, 3440 x 1440 gaming is excellent, welcome to the club
  4. DCS engine only has facilities to read fuel status, sadly you cannot write values
  5. @deadlyfishes, you still getting a lot of DCS server crashes ?
  6. Decent spec You have more than enough hard drive space, you will need lots for the amount of DCS crash zips you will have, for me it is about 200+MB per day
  7. looks like it is not kcicking people with too high a ping set limit was 240 observed a player on server with 379 ping waited a min but he still there
  8. Did the bunge cord mod to my case It has stopped the annoying noise from the mech HD's (vibration)
  9. I would wait on buying anything until ED get back to us on this
  10. if my mobo that my 2500K used had not died I would still be using it (with my 1080TI) I gamed at 3440 x 1440 with the 2500k + 16G RAM and it was fine Stick with it for now, you are at 1080 ?
  11. testing it out on our server tonight
  12. A bold move indeed I decouple my data from my OS eg my docs point to a different drive I use acronis to backup my OS partition, takes about 3 mins 60G used data -> 11G backup image so a lot smaller Takes about 5 mins to restore the OS image back onto the OS partition should stuff go wrong I use some batch files to backup my important data folders to the NAS eg my docs etc Its pretty easy to do and sure is a lot faster than installing my OS again .. then installing all the programs I use again
  13. Pro is geared more toward businesses and has better remote management stuff, most normal users not running a domain controller in their house are better off with home BAD idea, trying to get even exactly the same RAM brand/model to work with another exact same set might be hard, better to buy 4 x 8G sticks that are matched exactly the same at the factory and sold as a single kit Good idea, I have been using acronis for a decade or more now I used to use the high end version of it to backups of about 600 PC's across 2 sites, great bit of software Being able to to take backups of your OS while running windows is great I use this software a lot .. any time I play the fun game of driver roulette with Nvidia stuff Takes about 3 minutes to backup my entire 100G OS partition, I keep my OS and my doc/data seperate I use simple scripts to backup my data to a RAID5 NAS I Have on my network @gabgio, are you using backing up your OS partition ?
  14. 8700K based system was bought and assembled in Nov 2017 Vibrations from the HD are a problem, the case without them is totally silent you cant hear a thing from it, with the HD's got a a bit of annoying vibration noise Going to try a bungee mod to hold the mech 3.5" drives instead of caddies similar to this With the RAM I calced out the speed x quantity / price, for various 32G types, 3866 was a best value, I just did the Math I build a lot of systems per year, now is the worst time to buy / build, if you can afford to wait a month or two prices wont be so high I had no choice my former mobo crapped itself
  15. After Intels recent screw up and they still released coffee lake .... I would go AMD my PC spec 8700k @ 4.9Ghz Z370 Gigabyte aorus Ultra gaming 32G corsair vengence @ 3866Mhz Zotac 1080TI AMP nzxt Kraken x62 cooler (great) 1TB samsung 961 polaris m.2 1TB samsung 850 SSD 2TB WD black 1TB WD black Corsair 850W PSU Corsair osidian 750D airflow (if you use mechanical HD's do NOT buy this case) 1. Buy the best you can 2. I did a lot of number crunching and it work out best bang for buck with the 3866Mhz RAM (for me) 3. Unknown 4. Tis a very big power supply, better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it
  16. At least that statement points to how crap Asus are at testing stuff Yet another reason to avoid their stuff
  17. what frame rate is each monitor running ?
  18. maybe less bugs ? Better multiplayer that doesnt lag badly ?
  19. Hi Grimes, Thanks for replying, It might be more flexible to add other lists for ignore ping check ? / stats ignore Which ever is easiest for you to implement good sir
  20. Asus mobos are very picky with RAM timings (one of the reasons I would never buy one) The RAM you are using is on the QVL list ?
