+1 for smaller smoke (and if possible could we have black smoke colour as well)
The ability to stop smoke as well would be nice (helis do it ... but only for the single client who is selecting the cargo)
Still there are issues with sling load cargo in multiplayer - pictures at the same time
eg player 1 pick a cargo up and set it down
player 1 sees cargo on ground (the silver tank to the right)
Player 2 on the server sees the same cargo floating the the sky (silver tank in the sky)
when i used to use MIST and respawn stuff I would use
switched condition trigger group (EASY#001) group dead
then for action
mist.respawnInZone('EASY#001', 'spawn_zone1', True, 700)
While both DCS versions are running, check the lower right hand corner of main screen
it will show version and build ID's, if they both match you are sorted
+1 I can see then need for it
I ended up writing a simple batch file for doing this when I launch DCS
I just get a menu listing which type of config to load
eg
One for Editing
One for Playing
One for doing video capture

Would it be possible to have a change made in MP screen?
Current Details:
Currently in MP screen in DCS there is a Connect by IP button
this does exactly just that accepts
IP/URL:
Password:
and when you hit the arrow it uses the supplied details to make a connection attempt with the supplied IP
Proposed change:
Call button Direct Connect (or something similar)
The IP/URL: could now be
IP/Name:
So that we could enter either IP or DNS name of a server eg
192.168.1.1:10308
or
serv:10308
I know which of those 2 about I would rather type in.
So DCS uses DNS to lookup the name get the IP and connect
Anyway what do you other DCS MP players think ?
