Add ILS activate Beacon Script

possible. I can add the Localizer and the Glideslope to the Beacons.lua for syria manually overriding it and get an ILS to work. I just wanted another way to do it without killing IC Oh well. However I believe your right in that only TACAN's and ICLS emitters can be added to the map in the mission editor or with scripting. Just another limitation of DCS. -

Greetings saw on hoggit and old rumblings to add an ILS to any runway by creating a beacon type over an object with scripting. Having a heck of a time getting it to work. Hopefully someone in the community is way better than I with the scripting. Please anyone any ideas adding an ILS to a runway without editing the core Beacons.lua. Agreed. The snail like changes in development, and the antiquated and archaic setup we currently have reminiscent of windows 98. I think very much for this reason we see such an alarming lack of content for DCS when it comes to quality missions and campaigns, when against the backdrop of how long these modules have been out. some for several years but only maybe 1 or 2 campaigns, and a handful of approved creators. First hand I can account the insane amount of work it takes just to make one mission set, and upkeep to keep then running and functioning every successive update. The ME and a Dynamic campaign system are really the elephant in the room imo that need to be addressed to curb the module burnout and interest plateau. That's part of the reason why we see the "ED Gib us this _____ as the next aircraft module", as there is such a lack of content / campaigns / MP campaigns of quality that really keep people engaged, so they want to jump to the next shiny new thing as a way to bridge the gap. Greetings. Another very prominent and important facility to the Syrian military industrial complex is not here, also would be great for mission editors and designers. Like Many other locations here in syria if we could at least get the underlying infrastructure that we cannot add in the Mission editor like Roads and power lines at least. The ME we can add the buildings. Or maybe those could be placed also by Ugra. Greetings It was probably discussed before the time frame the map is, probably current however sad to see the infrastructure or at least the roads to the Syrian Nuclear reactor from 2007's famous strike Operation Orchard / Outside the box. I can see on the Satellite overlay where it was, and remnants of the building and reactor annexes that still have not be removed from the satellite image on the syria map. Wish at least we had the dirt roads and some buildings even though currently its gone. Would make for some great mission building. Loving the map and the amount of high value targets and locations that are currently in it. Such as Al-Safir weapons complex.

Thanks for all the work with this guys. Has anyone tried adding the animated ground personnel statics for ambiance with the hangar or carrier deck ? Will the animations of them standing around play out ? really wish there was a large template with all the avail commands explained also when adding the fuel tanks to the F-16 it’s not loading the painted tanks with the custom livery. Anyone know a fix for that ? thanks again.

Still not fixed with all the weather fixes and updates in 2.8

Greetings. ED you spent all this time with the weather and the 2.8 update, however Rain is still clipping and passing through covered aircraft shelters, and into Hangars. Looks great on the canopy, however should not have raining on the canopy effect when we are starting in the hangar. Not track needed. Aircraft on any map starting in any covered position with rain on. Thanks Shrike

I know the old CAS script by Cribob or someone else had the ability to spawn a “soldier M4” wherever a pilot was shot down. Does anyone know of a way to script similar to spawn this awesome life raft but when Over water when an aircraft is shot down or someone ejects ? Would be great for mission makers. thanks, loving these objects. -
I know your trying to push hard to release all of this stuff this year, however the bug reports are stacking up, especially for the SA map and assets pack that have now been released for a while. You want to start making good in the community aside from the past issues with previous releases like the harrier ? Especially now on the eve of your F-15 ? Most of the Bug Reports I have been looking at are just left to the crickets are are posted as far back as from June. Still no responses or acknowledgements. Same ol Razbam ? How about something as simple as adjusting the spawn for helicopters on the invincible class carrier. Seems low hanging fruit. Ill be looking forward to that good faith and effort with garnished support.

@Lt_Jaeger Thanks again for sharing all of your work. Started the prints, just two questions. Where did you procure the screws for the TEDAC Grips ? Do you know the specs ? There are lots of varieties of M2 or M2.5 screws etc. Lastly I cant find the Flanges for the TEDAC Grips anywhere. Did you share the STL's for the mount circle flange ? If not can you point me in the right direction. Thanks again

Ruler also when activated has some type of magnetic pull to any nearby trigger zones that are drawn. Even if the mouse cursor is not over a Trigger zone, when using the ruler it will sometimes snap the zones and move them along with the ruler feature. Very problematic sometimes.
