Ok thanks Urbi, Will test. Was able to force them to Takeoff Ground (only starts one motor) and takeoff ground hot, however never really cruises correctly. Hopefully this solution a workaround. You dont know what codes the V-22 to a larger aircraft category so that its not able to land or be placed on smaller airfields do you ? Example the E-2C etc dissapear on landing on certain smaller airports, so its either coded into the aircraft or the airports on the map for certain types. Wondering if I can make the V-22 show up like the AV-8B(Smaller FIghter) and other small aircraft can be placed on certain airfields that the larger stuff cannot. Thanks again ! -

is there a way around with certain mods to reassign as a smaller type aircraft ? For example the Miltary aircraft mod or the C130 mods that are out there ? Make Core DCS thing they are a different category of aircraft ? -

Been Looking at the V-22 and its seems this has been a while without it being addressed. Im guessing we need to change the configuration to make DCS think its a smaller category aircraft like the AV-8b ? There seems to be several issues also say forcing it to take off from ground, it never seems to transition to full flight with 0 rotor tilt. LandRWCategories = { [1] = { Name = "HelicopterCarrier", }, [2] = { Name = "AircraftCarrier", }, [3] = { Name = "AircraftCarrier With Catapult", }, [4] = { Name = "AircraftCarrier With Tramplin", }, }, TakeOffRWCategories = { [1] = { Name = "HelicopterCarrier", }, [2] = { Name = "AircraftCarrier", }, [3] = { Name = "AircraftCarrier With Catapult", }, [4] = { Name = "AircraftCarrier With Tramplin", }, }, OR maybe adding different types of categories for these criteria. Has anyone had luck forcing it to land at smaller airfields or transition and land vertically on a Helipad ? Thanks -

Hey guys I know this is an older thread and an oldie but a goodie script. There is a limitation on putting it on delay activation groups. So if groups are spawned later with a trigger the dismounts are spawned on map load. Wondering what the fix or a work around for that would be ? Execute the script after the group is spawned ? Also is there a way to make them hidden from the Map when they do spawn ? Thanks !

We would all be lost in a questionable DCS ME Bleak fog. IMC without instruments. -
Would very much like to see this until they actually get a correctly working and fully functional damage model. Not an IF Damage = Fuel Leak every single time. or at least a little more variety like a hydraulic system issue or electrical.

100% agree. Very well said. chicken or the egg. I think for this reason exactly you see a very low amount of quality content (less great paid campaigns and other select missions) when it comes to missions and community made items. The lack of development and neglect to the mission editor over the last better part of a decade is really disappointing as much of the small quality of life additions would make a large impact. Oh well, the lack of ME development will continue to foster a lack of participation in the community and lack of quality content.

Seems like the Guns on the Pansir system just shoot in one direction to engage but do not track incoming missiles ? Limitation on DCS with multiple weapon systems ? Greetings. We currently have 3 command triggers in the ME to add Helper Gates to the mission editor. However there is no ability or command to REMOVE the gates once they have been turned on. Please add this feature. Thanks Shrike

Hey thanks @Hawkeye60 Just picked up the bunker and a simple Radar site that might work well with this Deep Strike Bunker mission. Hopefully they will work out and look decent in DCS and convert without too much of an issue being integrated. Im guessing the helper gate issues are still there for multiplayer clients ? Tried yesterday and it seems none of my triggers are working on a dedicated server. Helper gates are not showing for clients.
