  2. Bump. Had any more attention given to this 'LandingReFuAr" wp ? I have tried making a loop with helicopters from a boat to an airfield on land. Simulating a resupply . Every time I test or move things around they end up just flying or crashing into the water halfway to the WP. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening ? or how i would go about setting this up. Thanks
  3. BUMP. Its now 2023 and the "LandingReFuAr" is still broken. CH-47, MI-8 etc any helo Will not land on any boat with the 'LandingReFuAr" wp. They will simply crash into the water when approaching a ship. Tried on the Tarawa, HMS Invincible etc. none work. If given a simple "Land" waypoint this works however not the former. Please address this already ED

  5. Greetings. ED please edit the AI UH-60A lua to allow it to takeoff and land on ships. The MH-60 model is very antiquated so the UH-60A is the latest most updated model we have. Currently its unable in the mission editor to allow the landing on and departing and spawning from ships. Thank you
  6. Greetings. I just purchased the map and was extremely disappointed to see the northern border if Israel and north cities and settlements are missing. I know the map focuses on the Sinai however between the two terrains we still do not have a complete state of Israel. I looked at the development roadmap and didnt see anything indicating that this would be included. The Blue line / Israel - Lebanese border is a very prominent landmark and border. Is this planned ? Was not sure however would love to see this included Thank you Shrike
  7. Agreed, Not a huge deal just sheer curiosity. Would love to hear the backstory on this and the "complications" that were implied. Its just a video game not official training software. Oh well
  8. No I put mine in the hangar space underneath as I liked that look better. Still some tweaking trying to get liveries showing up now. Much more enjoyable than the Russian hangar.
  9. Greetings. Notice that a prominent location in Gaza was missing. The Al-Shifa hospital is missing. I know this is probably the oldest hospital in Gaza and also the focal point of several hot key issues, Would be nice to have this location in the map as it looks like its some various industrial boxes and small buildings in that location now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Shifa_Hospital For reference.   10. Agreed 100% as I cannot imagine anyone enjoying 10 -20 min of mission time just slowly deleting large amounts of CM's and Target points in every mission that were auto populated during mission start. I just tested again tonight seems still not addressed.

  12. I was able to change it, However just cant figure out how to get my livery to work now, lol Probably some adjustments on camera angle etc might be needed. You want to help me tweak it and maybe add some weapons cool. I dont think the apache has the option for cowl and intake covers and probe covers like the hornet or harrier
  13. Greetings. Nice feature to have in game however is it possible to add or guess coming features / wishlist item to have the ability to add the PFZ / Terrain points and other points for the TSD to avoid having to manually enter all this in game. Would save a lot of time in game for data entry. ME is really the only mission planning software we have available. if there is a workaround or another option let me know thanks Shrike
  14. Looks like its all encrypted now or moved, no longer in the DB_callnames.lua as its gone. I do see the function "callnames" used still however not sure where the db is referenced from now
  15. @SkateZilla Greetings Skate. I read years old posts of yours changing the SceneVR.lua and editing it real time instead of having to close and reopen DCS for each subsequent change as it can be time consuming. Is there a proven method for loading the SceneVR lua file into the model viewer or some type of 3d viewing platform in vr each change i make ? also its possible to just change the scene to the hangar deck of the super carrier right ? why not ? Guessing its the nimitz_71_lod_0.edm Thanks again Shrike

  18. Thanks again for all your work and time @currenthill. Really are filling a void on lack of quality assets for DCS. We as a community really appreciate it. Curious if you have considered adding another faction for adding more Insurgent type assets ? Would be great for COIN missions and the apache as well as many other aircraft coming down the pipe. As of now we are very limited on the infantry and vehicles for asymmetric warfare that are currently in game. Thanks again for all you do ! This currently is the only other mod I am aware of.

  20. Well hopefully this gets addressed AGAIN on this next big patch and is fixed once and for all. Also noticed last night George doesn't like transitions with really large amounts of wind. ~25kts of wind and he just wigs out. Fingers crossed.
  21. There was a "Mats" or AM2 Mats for DCS by Suntsag, Those worked pretty well. You might want to try those as they came in difference sizes. Worked well for parking taxiing etc. However as a runway . . . meh as different modules landing gear reacted differently at high speed to the interesections of the long mats. could probably do a AM2 mat with the skijump combo for shorter STOL stuff. Good luck again all predicated on the smoothness of the terrain. My issue was always the grass protruding from the mats. couldnt remove the grass and bushes texture even with the clear/ remove ME lua commands. Kind of lame
  22. Well been over a year and still not addressed. I hope this gets fixed soon as its kills the continuity and ability to use ai in a mission out of this airbase.
  23. Hopefully this and the pathfinding gets addressed. Seems like its been a year or longer on other similar posts. Breaks the continuity of any mission when you have several ai aircraft departing Ramat.
