  1. Thank you @Grimes for all your work with this also. Also @Pikey for jumping onto some scripting. Would love to see this somewhat incorporated into Mist / Moose soon and make things a little easier to process for those of us like myself that is severely lacking in the coding / scripting department.

Thanks for everything over the years @Pikey I know between yourself and @Grimes, I cannot even begin to imagine how much you have helped with the new warehousing scripting and export etc thats available. Thanks again for your contributions over the years. My questions is this topic going to get revisited with new codebase and abilities we have this last update allowing the inventory and input / output via scripting now ? I am thinking this opens a huge door with logistics scripts etc. Thanks again
  3. Noticed this also about sounds missing or intermittent. Ran a repair. Seems the lock warning works, however the launch warning does not emit on missile launch. I had to spam press the H - Handoff and other RWR pushbuttons to generate the launch warning tone. Ill have to go back to the books for a detailed writeup on how its supposed to work, however Im sure this is not correct. Ill run another repair just in case. Not sure.
  4. also the C-17. At the rate they announced the B-1, B-52 and S-3 we still have not seen them. I honestly have given up on ED with anything. Really just need to rely on the hard work and creativity of the mod community. Keep up the great work thanks for the uploads

Ah ok, I misunderstood from a while ago, with previous versions I thought it was integrated into another page on the DTC for the viper, but I guess your right would have to still plug into the offsets. Hopefully you can get something worked out with him and it can be incorporated into subsequent updates. Its an extremely powerful tool. Would be so awesome some day to have similar setup to the WDP we had for F4 attached image. You guys have been doing great work thus far. Cannot begin to imagine how much time the DTC has saved our group in data entry. Thanks again. null

With the onset of all of the updates for the map by Ugra and with the new destruction work, is there any more consideration to miltary targets or assets that were omitted from the map ? Perhaps new structures ? or items that were destroyed during Operation Inherent Resolve. Yes I know they are currently are not there or removed but a early 2000's setup would be awesome. Al-Safir Missile base, Bazrah Facility, etc there are countless areas that could be addressed or added.   12. Yea no offense, snails pace on ED and they have been touting the B-1 rework for over a year. Ill believe it when I see it in game and on my hard drive, not isolated to only screengrabs and the yearly look but dont touch thank you "Keep Dreaming" video or whatever its called. The mod community imo has keep this platform alive and vibrant with the hard work and time vested. Even beyond all of the constant lockdowns of files and encrypting and closed source throughout the years of the base code. At this rate a community B-1, C-17, B-52 or even CH-53 etc. would make a drop far ahead of anything released by ED. In all honesty and low poly aside. ED just needs to subcontract Razbam, HB or anyone else to just create asset packs for the game or revamped LOMAC assets that are already in game in dire need of replacement. The only way anything will get done.
  13. Absolutely ashame we don't have any mods or even core functionality for baskets or correct modeling of winch style mechanics. Would open the door to much more content and campaigns in game, aside from combat but to the logistics and rescue side of things. That coupled with advance triggers, scripting and animations would be great. Thanks for the civilian assets @Admiral189
  14. Great job YoYo thanks for a work around and somewhat of a solution ! Much improved. Its very sad this has not been revisited by ED and they have not reworked the old LoMAC style of setup for these models and actually recreated using the new lighting from last year core changes or even as recent as the environmental night lighting in 2.8.5.40170. Seems we miss the forest for the trees at times, I am so glad you were able to get this to work, I pulled my hair out with the textures and maps this year. Thank you so much !
  15. @tripod3 I cannot begin to thank you enough for doing these power plant and structure mods for the community. Where ED and designers have for some reason (no clue so dumb) failed to include some really critical strategic assets on the PG map, you have filled in the gap. Thank you so much for this. This will really add an insurmountable amount of depth and even more mission design and variance for mission editors and content creators. I am sure I can speak for a fair amount of the community when for years we have just piled together iterations of "water towerA" and "structure B" in mish mash form to resemble a power plant or Bushehr etc. This is absolutly awesome, and I will be following this mod pack closely. It is awesome to see creators with the ability fill in the void of things that actually would be targeted in a combat simulator. Map editors are so focused on houses and roads and other things however overlook the strategic targets that actually would be targeted in an engagment. Power plants, Factories, Ammunition depots, train and rail stations and hubs, destructible ports and harbors, destructible bridges and highways etc. I do ask to put some consideration towards any syrian assets in the future that we dont have models for but could be used throughout many other maps and senarios. Obvously with the onset of the F-15E and F-16 Operation Inherent Resolve is rather timely. Syria is by far of the most detailed and beautiful maps still in DCS, as well as maintaining great performance. We do not have any of the critical buildings in the targeted sites such as Al-Safir missile base storage structures, chemical facilities etc. https://www.nti.org/education-center/facilities/al-safir-missile-base-2/ Barzah Research Center https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barzah_scientific_research_centre Underground bunker entrances, storage buildings, hardened shelters etc. would be a great target packages to fortify these sites and recreate scenarios. You have by far provided us with over a year of mission making content and rich assets to develope scenarios around for any aircraft and airframe.

  21. So Kind of upsetting it didnt save any of the typed in or edited waypoints I created or manually typed in after loading a .miz file. Loaded a miz. Then added some more data and changed some things on the card. Added some extra waypoints and names etc. - SAVED - as a 5js file Loaded my .5js file and none of my waypoint changes and free text typing was captured ? What gives ? Seems will only save if I start from a blank template. Kind of disappointing, unless there is a simple thing I am missing ?
  22. Fingers Crossed for a font change or at least a font option. Tried changing on my own, you were right. Baked in. Also the ability to run .XXX decimas for the viper. Less is not useful for DPMI and more is too cluttered and difficult to read in the boxes with the font. Keep up the great work !

  24. True, and thats why unpopular I am sure and I am in favor of it, but DCS would benefit more from a paid subscription service. Would serve two fold. Constant revenue stream, plus extra accountability to the developers to meet timelines and criteria, as people would vote with the wallet on a more consistent basis.
  25. Very well said. Cycle continues and nothing will change until we as a community become more outspoken and vote with our wallets.
