  1. You may contact wotever, author of simhub software. He managed to vibrate those rumblers via arduino. Simhub got a popular discord Si he may know a shortcut for using usb controllers
  2. I envy your skills man, looks awesome
  3. Maybe the key word of his response is "currently"
  4. Hello people, Bought an arduino device which works with dcs bios, but apparently also a software unknown to me called socat. Any input?
  5. please share your Simshaker for Aviator settings tab, pay close attention first to the output mode.
  6. It also shared on the very first post of this thread
  7. MT side effect??
  8. I delete those mfd f6 lua files from the standard dcs installation
  9. You better post this on hardware/software súbforum, whew have several threads for SSA and sound module settings, doubts and so
  10. What I do is deleting the default f16 mfd 1 and f16 mfd 2 lua files and you are good to go again
  11. Top stuff as usual
  12. Hello! I have a system with a jetseat and 2 shakers. When Im flying the A-10CII Warthog, I don´t get any vibrations from the landing gear. Flaps vibrations same, no effect at all. However no issues with engine, flares or g-load effect.
  13. if your whole chair vibrates, how could you figure out from what wing that GBU just dropped? or the different landing gear doors? or the center mounted a10 gun VS side mounted F14 or f16 gun? or what side your huey door gunners are shooting? some "stereo" effects suit very well the seat pad idea. Others, like touchdown or ground rolling, are better fit for a whole shaking system like a buttkicker or single mounted bass shaker.
  14. Im almost certain it will work properly and will help you fly better.
  15. what´s your vibration system? just the Jetseat? you don´t need the sound module for that
  16. Anyway it´s great this niche market is blooming with options, it´s all good for customers.
  17. you bought the thing from Amazon UK? I thought HF8 only was sold on the USA
  18. Both systems for pros and cons. Just sitting over transducers might be less confortable than smaller spinning motors
  19. from what I read, you can use SSA for the NLR choosing Forcefeel compabilty on SSA software but I could be mistaken
  20. if you dont use the software, the buttkicker will rumble based on audio input only, which is about 25% of what you would enjoy if based on telemetry instead.
  21. Im guessing if you are based on the USA or outside Europe, HF8 seat should be easier to buy with the ongoin Rus-Ukr situation. From what I read, both can work with SSA software, so no issues there. No idea about the delay, HF8 is a recent device meanwhile Jetseat has been out for several years already. You could also check your seat measurements in order to check which one of the could fit it better. My advice would be don´t waste much time choosing, both seem great products. I own a Jetseat and don´t fly without it. So whatever you choose, go ahead and keep enjoying the sim
  22. If by "simshaker" you mean a jetseat with 8 vibrators, yes, that´s better than a single unit buttkicker. The ability to notice side effects like huey door gunners, cannon position, from what wing drops a bomb and such is a great tool to have on DCS. Also bear in mind both systems can be add up, taking full advantage of their strengths. Buttkicker is great for effects like touchdown, burner, engine...
  23. I strongly think that device uses its own software
