  2. Just Great! I was wishing that you take the path of nibbylot's EFM. What seems a logical step to make the helo life a lot longer and even more let people enjoy it for free. Are you planning for a cockpick eye "candy": new modeling or surfacing? Thanks a lot for the update and for keep working/updating this Mod for the community Hawkeye60 !!! Will wait patienly for any other updates :]

  7. I imagine that having the model a flat color, might point out that the model UVs are not properly set yet to be textured... so... take it easy petsild :smilewink:
  8. For what I understood from other media, seems like so. The title of this post is what states :]. So guess EFM is the focus, what it is just great IMO, I believe, really few of us could tackle such a big task, at least not me... Skins and new features, I asked some myself... seems not to be the main goal. And I do totally respect that. Any further model, surfacing, features or eye candy would be very welcome, but having a great EFM with ground effect, vortex, and so on would be even better IMO. In the end, with patience, I have the feeling that it will all come together.

  12. Incoming "How to" Unarmed Vehicle Model downloaded from Sketchfab, I did use the original normal map (with some flew tweaks) and the 3D model. I am adding some 3D details to the original. This time, for the surfacing, I quickly tested Quixel Mixer with its new Smart Materials. Pretty handy to do some quick stuff so far. Blender Template Scene. A little video here: I have the intention to upload Example/Mod/Template files and do a small Tuto Video to show how to use the Template for Unarmed Vehicles in the incoming days. Hola THEDYQUIROZ, Este Helicoptero NO ES NINGUN DESASTRE, es gratis, establece un punto de partida muy importante para el futuro de cualquier otro mod ya que comparte amablemente un EFM open source y no hace falta ningun modulo para volarlo... el helicoptero esta aun en WIP... Sinceramente, creo que el tono de tu comentario esta bastante fuera de lugar.....:huh:

Thanks for the update and keeping it fresh and going forward :thumbup: I found the trim option really welcome also, however, I wonder if a "classic" trim option could be added like trim and trim reset, the same way it works for Mi-8 and Huey. Maybe this hello does not work this way, I just do not know, but I would love if you could add this feature at some point as I still struggle a bit to control it without this kind of trim control, however, of course, new trim option helps :]. Also about the new feature: - Added option to remove weapon platform I was hoping to have the classic "Hardpoints" checker box in the mission editor. I do not manage to find where to tweak this. I am quite a fan of civilian/SAR Helo flying here in DCS, and when I saw this new addition I was indeed very excited. Adding to the livery lua: custom_args = { [310] = 1.0, } It does not seem to work. Any clue about how it is supposed to be done? Best!
  16. Good! :thumbup: Happy to see that it worked out. Nice modeling so far for being quite a "beginner" in Blender. You are gonna be doing better than me (what wont be difficult...) in a very short time. Take a look at some of the face normals in the minigun, they might be inverted ;].
  17. Hi BlackLibrary, I did not even know that cargos could be picked up by AI... :]. With Player Huey or Mi-8 works well, however, if there is a problem with the AI that does not use the cargo mod properly, it would be nice if it could be fixed somehow, even if IMO, not a big deal. Where can I check that log file, is not the debug.log inst it? Maybe copying the *.csv file from the mod in the main Data directory of the game could remove that log error? *EDITED: Ok I found the DCS.log inside savegames folders DCS/logs: From the mission where I tested the cargo yesterday I have around 16 ERRORs, most related to mixing fx textures, dx11 whatever stuff and even something about the P-47... that I do not even own.. :]. The error you are pointing to it is indeed present also in my log file. Could you give a shot to an official cargo object and see if AI does do what it is supposed to with it? I do not know how to create a mission to test that :). Thanks

Hi man, Yes, I have found the way for AI helicopters, take off from parking and land in almost the same spot even if boats are moving, something the AI does very well without any interaction, thankfully :]. However, my "Boat" has only one landing slot so I do not know how it will go if I have to manage several parking/landing spots. I cannot help you with that yet, sorry. You might be right and it might be a bug, but I just do not know. Did you test with other carrier mods? My "boat" is scripted as a wsType-Aircarrier so it might be something related to that?? :huh:
  21. Looking at the error seems that the data *.csv file is not where it should be. I just downloaded the file right now and reinstalled it. C:\Users\Your user name\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech\ Drop the first folder of the zip right here, no mod tool needed after. All worked fine for me, I created a new mission to test and hooked and deployed with no issues.:music_whistling: I am always running Open Beta latest version (updating to whatever it comes every time) Please delete all of it and try redownloading and installing it in this way. Let me know if this method does not work for you, because it should :]. Best and happy if you found the content useful

I would not post anything before comparing it with my map, it was easy for me to recognize as I also invested plenty of time for this texture. Hello Suntsag, I have downloaded your Glass Cockpit Modification for the Spitfire: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A9_...ew?usp=sharing I see that you have added a Spitfire - Enhanced Sight(JSGME) that modifies the Spitfires reticle and that you have used a slightly modified version of the base map of my Spitfire HD Gunsight mod. I understand that my mods run under: License: Freeware - Free version, Unlimited distribution So there is no problem to redistribute or include them in any other individuals mod pack. I do not care about you modifying it to suit your own needs/taste but, to be honest, it feels a bit sad not to be credited. Especially understanding that you did like my little mod somehow :[ Best
