  1. It is my favorite module... So... yea, if necessary, get my dam money for some updates !!! Any of them will be very welcome :]
  2. Salut astazou, I found the way to create the cargos and make them fully functional (did not try deploying over moving vessels yet) I have done the cargo in Blender, however, I think you might find some of the info useful in this post: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=277572 It might be about the name of the collision lines or SegmentsNodes, or their shape. After several tests, I found the best results with 8 tiny Segments each in one corner of the cargo. Still not sure if their placement ( which goes on top, left, bottom, etc) is relevant or not... Does not seem to me so far. Also, for the damaged model, it seems that the only way to make it work is having this dam .edm with no collision object inside it. Let me know if it is useful for you, and of course, I will appreciate any feedback or new info if you find how to improve "the formula". Best
  3. I agree about the heading, I did also "request" this some time ago. To avoid "getting lost" the best, so far, is to use the ruler tool in F10 map, especially, before picking up cargo. Also if you are inside Mi-8 setting up Doppler System will really help. For where to place the cargo, the Team answered already. You can see the "Area/Zone" in the pictures inside the briefing, any place inside should be "OK". Did my first (successful) sling load op yesterday with rain and windy weather, what it was quite a challenge for me :]. The cargo was added successfully to the supplies in the Downtown Hospital. I do not want to be a pain in the neck here..., but I would really like to see some "specific" cargo drop areas in the future, traffic can get dense in the hospital area and the deployment operation is already delicate enough by itself :music_whistling:. Thanks again for the updates and looking forward to any future feature implementation
  4. Hi nibbylot, Thanks for all the hard work so far. Having a Helicopter EFM Open Source is such a great thing! Pretty sure you have many contributors or people that wanna help in this project :]. If any other aid in shading and texturing is necessary, I would be happy to collaborate in case my help is also welcome :]. Best
  5. I have the latest Open Beta. Today and yesterday could not see the server on the list anymore :[.
  6. Hi DMarkwick. It seems cool the development you are into. I am very interested also in the info you are asking for... it would make things a lot more easy for general modding. EDM reload would be great also. I imagine there is some kind of debug mode with a console or something so we can write command and flush/reload desired files ? Thanks in advance :]
  7. Downgraded Nvidia drivers as advised by rossmum and streakeagle in this post: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4382753#post4382753 Now MiG-21 works a lot better for me :]. Hopefully, my laptop will handle the Mi-24P, fingers crossed.
  8. Wooouuu !!! O_O. Amazing performance improvement !!! Downloaded and installed the oldest Drivers I could find for my model 441.66. Now I can enjoy flying MiG-21 again along with all it's new updates . Pretty stable Framerate from 45 to 35 depending on areas loaded from the map, what it's normal, at least for me. Cockpit performs better than Spitfires also. Thank you so much guys!!!
  9. Thank you guys for the advises  I am going to give them a shot and see what happens.
  10. Thanks for the info! The cargo does not disappear from clients also, at least if placed inside farp, what I guess it is not the ideal thing to do but seems a precise spot to place them at least. Could you guys add some tires in the ground or something to define the area to leave cargos in each hospital? That will be very useful and also add some better immersion to the task. :]
  11. The new cockpit looks gorgeous. Sadly it has been already some months after some update that framerate started to be really bad inside the cockpit for me. under 30 fps most of the time. I tested today in all its glory. Might be the new beta volumetric lights or something but the framerate drops to 8 and goes up slowly to 45 and down again to 10... in a kinda weird buggy loop. I understand my Asus ROG laptop it is quite outdated: GeForce GTX 960M Intel Core i7-6700HQ 32 Giga of RAM But I can run most of DCS modules in a threshold from 30 to 45 FPS depending of Module and map. Time to buy a new gaming laptop I guess. :[
  12. Tested it today, might be the new beta volumetric lights or something but the framerate drops to 8 and goes out slowly to 45 and down again to 10... in a kinda weird buggy loop.
  13. I have Open Beta only. And I do not see any, "Radioactive" glowing stuff. It seems really cool, especially on your 109 screenshot. Maybe for VR user, it is too much, that I do not know, but I will welcome this feature if is fair for all user and it is well implemented. Some users with their mods have tried to improve gauges readability, so it should not be a bad idea IMO. What I like the less is the baked gauge Glass reflections, which is annoying in some angles and very saturated. This is how it looks for me. Gamma 1.4, Cockpit global illumination ON This one for example with my "Enhanced Cockpit Mod" In some of the latest updates this started to be too dark in the black areas for me... However the readability of gauges is better, so I wonder if this glowy thing would make the vanilla version just fine. Cheers
  14. Exactly, Seems pretty good to me :music_whistling:.. I do have some automatic watches with this feature and they react pretty much the same as now in the cockpit, when they pass from light to shadow after being exposed to direct sunlight during a certain period of time. I do welcome these updates
  15. A little "advice" for any newcomer to Mod DCS Prototype/blocking your models in MV or Ingame asap. Start getting the Code and Scale right it is a good idea (also check model Normals and so on). Remember that Blender seems to match scale in meters with DCS so... use that in your advantage from the very beginning. Going back to "retouch" finished models after noticing several issues ingame is no fun :]. Measures inside *.lua files are usually given in meters also so that can help you a lot to place your effects, define landing areas, etc... I use the very useful Measure Tool: *It is really ugly... but terribly useful to keep going in the right direction :smilewink:
  16. My pleasure Backy 51 ! Keep going with the Blender Offical tutorials. Learning Blender does really worth it :smilewink:.
  17. Poland złoty right?
  18. +1:thumbup:

Note: I know my English sucks... and that my "tutorials" are not "top quality"... Just trying to be helpful here sharing the little info I have so far. Do not hate me for that. I do not want to be a "Youtuber"... it is just the best place to put the stuff for free so... Cheers, and thanks for your understanding.
  20. This is exactly the one I was looking for. I hope it does still work on 2.5.6. Thank you very much Morpheus !!!
  21. Thanks for this huge update guys! Can't wait to test it! :pilotfly:
  22. Any update would be very welcome :]
  23. IMO, PBR implementation in Cockpit and External model are a must (not paid update). Better quality Normal map for exterior and cockpit Normal map implementation would be also a nice update. About the external model of Mi-8, I still think it is of very high quality even for today's standards. For the cockpit, some VR users have complained that "looks not so good", still, for me, it is fine. Better than Hueys, for sure. Any Cockpit update (+ bombsight implementation for copilot) would be very welcome, as soon as it does not come with a big performance drop... If the external model is updated in the future, the possibility of removing Dust Filters and IR Jammer (plus no weapon controls in the cockpit) with extra checkboxes in ME, would be very welcome also. :]
  24. Yep, that would be great! However, about the new gorgeous exterior and cockpit model/shading level, which IMO started with Mig-21, continued by Hornet and so on... the impact in performance (FPS) has been huge :[. I fear to "be pushed" to buy a new computer just to enjoy the Mi-24... as now, I am already not able to fly Mig-21 anymore due to quite a big performance drop after 2.5.6 .
  25. 6 hours could be fine :]
