Hi Cobra and the team! Since you overshot the 2018 target and we're now half way into 2019, can you please provide an updated projection or at least tell us what you are working on? I saw right after the F-14 release that you said the pilot body for AJS 37 was not going to take long. Can we expect that before year end? Thanks for your hard work!

I read up a bit on this and you're totally right but I also found some other interesting details. The IRST ("IR-spanare" in Swedish) was integrated with the radar so the pilot had the option to use the radar for ranging and the IRST for azimuth and elevation (he could of course choose to only use the radar as well). The IRST could also be used independently (with the radar off). Then the upper third section of the scope was used as a C-scope where targets could be detected from behind at up to 50 km and up to 80 km if the target used afterburner (i suspect that would be big targets like bombers then). The J 35 Draken is a fascinating piece of machinery indeed! :)

Anyone knows how the IR signature was visualized to the pilot? I don't recall ever seeing a scope for an IRST in a J35 cockpit. Was it using the same display as the radar?

I don't think we should be so skeptical. HB seems to be prioritizing VR more now so I would expect us to have a pilot body probably already under 2019!

As a Viggenite I must say that the Mig-19 is actually way harder to kill in a dogfight than a Mig-21. Much better turning radius than both the Mig-21 and the Viggen. It's a good addition to the Cold war server! :thumbup:

A Swedish map would of course be awesome and fit in nicely into a cold war scenario as well as modern scenario. The Baltic sea was and is an area where Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Russia, US, France etc. with different assets are present on a daily basis.

Looks awesome! When this is done the AV-8B will probably be high up on the "to buy-list"... The cockpit textures has long been kind of a turn off being used to HB (Viggen) and ED (Hornet) textures.

Yes, I agree. But I think it has always been good since I joined. The recent months with the Hornet it has been excellent though! ED currently has the throne in terms of communication and HB the throne on module quality. :D:thumbup:

There is no such effect... I've basically flown up the ass of another Viggen without anything happening :D

That's true but at least my comment was about approach altitude. I don't see any change when I try different codes (910300-915000). Please feel free to try it out and see if you have the same issue.

Can't help it but I keep coming back to this thread...*drooling* :happy: Just a thought though if this is too time consuming, wouldn't it be easier to start of with an AI JA 37?
