There is like 4 servers in Normandy other than this server. Also open beta and stable are the same release version currently. From my understanding the export was turned off due to people using tacview as a cheat. Idiots ruin things for the masses air quakers. I also use a butt kicker with the software so in the same boat as you and it’s a huge bummer.

That is just the state of the current engine. You could try msaa but it will murder your FPS. Msaa and deferred shader are like oil and water.....

no msaa and no PD in dcs if you are running 200 percent in steam. ALSO IF you have the new open beta of wmr steam vr app it auto sets target render scale to 2 as standard now.

it did in the past no clue whats up now, maybe bug or maybe ground surface dependent?

I would hope you get good fps with that rig and the Rift since the rift is the easiest to run of all head sets

well if somebody is willing to spend 80 dollars on a single aircraft, i would wager that the asset pack is a simple buy. It is what it is buy it and join servers that use it, dont buy it and fly servers without it... 1st world problems

You may want to do your homework. Asw is implemented on the odyssey and it’s better than the rifts. Cockpit readability highly surpasses rift, guess it depends if you have it setup right and good eyes....

Fully agree, best thing to do is go elsewhere for a fully functional combat sim and come back and check dcs every six months. Maybe one of these years it will actually be fully fleshed out.
