  1. Hey Everybody, I, just was told about Libre Hardware Monitor Program which is open source and found on Github. Now I was having a issue with it reading my Cuda cores under load it shows 0% and I am trying to determine if it is an issue with my Pc or an issue with the Program. I also did a DDU wipe of my nVidia drivers and clean installed v546.33 drivers which helped a bit in DCS but my main concern is to find out why it read zero % in the d3d cuda cores. I will post a few pics of the test I ran under load in DCS. In the 1st image you can see D3D Cuda at Zero%, and it is under load. so is this something wrong with my PC or the Program?? well that is a quick gothrough of the jist of it but hopefully I can find out what is or what's not going on here.. Thank you Nephilim'
  2. well Stutter is moslty caused by a too small a pagefile. best thing to do is if you have 32GB Ram and alot of free space on a SSD or M.2 drive set the pagefile to like 65536. I have my PC set too that and I just checked my MSI AB and it stated I maxed the pagefile out @ 55GB. so if I only had a 32gb page file I would of had massive stutters.. Also you can get a slight stutter in VR if you are nopt matching your FPS to your VR Headset HZ rate especially when looking out the sides..
  3. 1. Bin.MT is the multicore EXE and the other is the single core EXE.. 2. well I know for sure the last line is not needed for the shortcut, I use the 1st one to enable VR but he says neither is needed.. so I guess they are not required any longer. 3. you do not need to check any of those..
  4. ok let me know I will try and keep an eye on this thread..
  5. beforewe go any further what exactly is your issue here? you do not need that file an longer. the bin Mt is in the dcs folder like the bin folder is. if you are using VR I would try the Multi thread or single thread it really does not matter just whatever one works better for you..
  6. yes change input switching to manual try that
  7. Yes, Stable and Beta are both the same currently. I am using Open beta but it is the same version you have.. it sounds like you have auto senosr on try setting it to manual in the Windows settings, mixed reality page.. so are you getting the blue triangles or the black ones?
  8. well I have a G2 and I only use this in the target line: " --force_enable_VR " that is it and I do not even have enable VR in the DCS options checked.. You do not need the line for Open xr or any files either.. you will know if it is using OpenXR as the screen that first comes up is the blue screen then dissapearing into trianlges. if it is a black screen that is Steam VR still..
  9. Hey ED, any word on this issue? I was hoping someone to look at these logs and such.. I am also currently noticing major FPS drops also from back seat Apache to Front seat Apache almost 50FPS in 2d Mode? I use VR but the FPS drop overall in game for me is about 10-15FPS in VR from 2.8..
  10. ok why dont you report the issue a bit better then this maybe we can help..
  11. Well I do not have stutter. I did have a reduction in my FPS so maybe that is your issue but you said you fixed it now you are saying it is broke again..
  12. thank you I did find them after I googled for it haha !! thnx for thelink tho
  13. that link for the hotfix drivers takes me too a blank page? the Reddit page works just not the link to the new hotfix drivers on the Reddit Page.
  14. Nozzle97, Are you using Open XR or SteamVR?? Either way try cranking the resolution of the G2 Down too 1724 x 1688, I know it is low just for a test and see if the stuttering is gone. if it is let me know. I am a firm beleiver and have noticed when the Resolution is maxed in the G2 it is very taxing on the GPU and lowering the rez helps.. The settings in DCS hardly matter much the key is lowering the rez in the g2 to an acceptable and level that the FPS are good. and if possible try setting the Hz to 60Hz in the G2 if you can not maintain 90FPS if it is set to 90Hz.. I noticed whatever Hz rate you set at in the G2 and probally all VR headsets if you dip below the 90/90Hz/FPS rate you get stuttering.. I hope it works out for you as it does for me as I set the Hz rate of my G2 to 60 and I use 30% Rez in the G2 and I am able to havea real buttery smooth experience even looking left and right.. IDK Maybe that is the key and where most users problems are stemming from.. I know one thing it works for me.. But I do realize 2.9 has had a FPS imapact and they are lower then with 2.8.. but lowering the rez in the G2 can counter that. Remember you don't have to keep it at 30% this is just a test to see if it does in fact raise your FPS. then if it did you would just need to set it at where it still able to maintain your desired FPS vs your HZ rate. I know you have a very good PC and it is probally not an issue on other games but you have to rememeber DCS is not your regular game.. Good Luck!!
  15. check thingiverse.com, I found an apache tedac handles there and some parts for my VR headset earmuffs..
  16. Well I think your settings are way to high SSAO, SSLR are probally not even needed. I would try lowering some of those settings. oh and kill secondary shadows.. if you hold your mouse cursor over each object you will see what affect it has on your PC. most of those I think are CPU based ones.. About your XMP Profile???
  17. Hi, I had a look at your files and I was wondering are you using an XMP Profile for your memory sticks in the UEFI (BIOS)? Also your cpu is on the lower end scale and probally not overclocked I would say that could be a factor. Also I noticed a big FPS reduction with 2.9. so I would say 2.9 has an issue of some sort now wether that is because of added features or whatnot IDK but something is amiss. Also I noticed you have your Hz of your monitor to 165Hz, if possible can you lower that?? Not sure if it is the same with monitors as with VR headsets but whast I noticed in VR headsets is if you do not maintain FPZ above your set HZ rate Stutters will happen especailly when looking out at the side. now I am pretty sure similar effect with monitors.. Not sure what could be done but if you are unable to hold 165FPS you will get what appears as stutters.. IF you can post your DCS Settings please.
  18. well mine dropped a bit and I usually never have too many issues but since the 2.9 FPS had most certainly dropped.. I don't know why maybe all the new features or just need optimasations really badly.. Is there any hope here? I am using the MT I tried the ST and it is even worse..
  19. well, now I am thinking I thought they where separate entities but maybe we don't need the OpenXR tools for mixed reality? I thought there was a way to control the res in the toolkit by muccicia?? (Spelling) here is all that can be configured in the OpenXR Tools for mixed reality
  20. OpenXR tools for Mixed reality is the configurator for OpenXR, it can be used at the same time, they do not cancel one another..
  21. it is not that AMD is garbage they just dont have the instruction set that intel has. I seen a video on talking about this and why intel is still a bit better but AMD is certainly catching up..
  22. I had uninstalled the Fixed Foveated render as it did not seem to work well, the FPS seemed a bit better when it was uninstalled.. I did not notice much of a bump with the 2080ti, heck some users with 4090 still have FPS issues but I digress.. It should be fine for now will tweak it a bit more but it looks like it will still hold 60fps but I was able to bump the rez to 50% and still get 60FPS so I guess it is all good for now.. I sure hope we can get some more optimisations for DCS.. it is so cool in VR.. EDIT: I just tried using my USB-C port in my video card and I could swore it looks much better now seems more crisper more monitor like image for some wierd reason.. I tried to Google what using the USB-C port can enhance the image but to no avail. I am just wondering am I seeing things here or is the image a bit better??
  23. well I changing the FOV with the OpenXR Toolkit and it was very wierd and it did not seem to have the desired effect. I will not be using it as it made a segment of the screen smaller but the original image was still there ???? maybe I can try and make the foveated size a bit bigger. I did retry it and I guess it has a little affect but not much.. I will keep messing with it butthe 2080ti should be here by this afternoon I can not wait..
  24. Hey I will recheck the OpenXR toolkit thnx.. I am unable to use DLAA with the current 1080ti but should be good when I get the 2080ti.. I am trying to maintain 60FPS as that is the HZ rate I set the game at as I can not maintain 90fps. I do not use reprojection, it is better to maintain the desired HZ/FPS rate and then usually the closer I stay to 60FPS in VR I get no stutters, I tried MR but the heloblades look funny when using MR so I dont use it.. I have lowered most settings to the minimum if not off. I am able at 30% REz of the G@ able to maintain 59-60FPS.. I just retried the Fixed Foveated Rendering it seemed to have helped. I am going to reneable toolkit and see about the FOV..
