Hey That still looks bad spiking.. are you running any mods and is it a single player mission? Maybe repost your log from that session there and maybe we can get some ideas.. When I play mostly on MP servers I get a minimal spike in the graph like that when activity is happening usually when some disconnects.

try turning off the classic apps second to last pic there..

Are you running the correct resolution on desktop and in thegame?? Also can you get a video of what you are talking about?

Hey Guys, AS the title I was looking at the 3 devices supported by DCS and ultra leap seemed the cheapest and available, I was wondering if anyone here used it and what they thought of it?

OK everybody, I just finished up flying the 4ya server with about 15 players. I had zero lag and no game stutter, I did have a very small and brief, spike in the FPS counter Graph but only when someone disconnected from the server. So Ya, I had a lag free and 60+ FPS MP flight it was smooth as butter for the most part it was a flatline in the FPS GRaph. I will put my log here and Maybe something will show as too why my game is so smooth compared too a lot of other users who report stutters and such in the game which I just don't get it?? I did add 32gb more from for a total of 96GB RAM just for a test. I looked at MSI AB and it reported 49GB RAM and 45GB Page file usage.. I just would like to point out when 2.9 1st dropped I was getting 15-20fps more then I do now. dcs.log

yes wierd when you move your mouse it causes the stutter in game and that was on the main menu?? You say it did not happen before 2.9? I do not think it is the poll rating more less it is probally induced latency caused by the wireless mouse.. you get bad stutters ingame as well as the main menu? Do you have a wired mouse anyone will work as long as it is wired for a test. unplug the wireless mouse dongle and plug in the wired mouse turn on the PC and see if the mouse still makes a stutter in the main menu like the wireless onedid.

can you try a clean boot to see if that helps maybe a program is interfering with DCS? Also do you have any mods or scripts you run?

DCS works fine for me. I sure would like to find out why some seem to have so many issues..

Well to be honest it couldbe anything. I would check the basics like the configuration of the headset it self. is 90hz your only option? If it is lagging in the main menu I would say something it making it lag like in the options of the headset what FPS do you get in the main menu? There have been a lot of different solutions and you should make an effort here at least do a search for others issue maybe the solution lies within..

well yes, I know but without your logs and dxdiag it is hard to tell.

Do you use any mods that affect IC check?? IF so remove them and try a slow clean and repair.

I had a 1070 that ran VR quite well even DCS..

Well I know with my PC Specs in Sig. that if I put the resolution of the headset too high it creates stutters and FPS Drop. I need to run at 40% for balance on MP servers and and I noticed as long as I maintain 60FPS and at my G2 HZ of 60HZ I get not stutter even looking out the side.. I ran a similar experiment a few days ago and yet to get feedback but I run AF @ x8 and when I do run MSAAx2 I still can maintain above 60FPS but sometimes in a MP server around the bases I get a little less then 60FPS.. so I noticed MSAA hits harder then AF.. I also noticed if I set terrain on High my Vram and RAM gets maxxed to the limit. also I need to keep terrain texteres on low and terrain on med. I was flying the 4YA server a few nights ago and my Pagefile was maxxed to 79,000MB so I had increased my Pagefile to 102,400. My Game runs smooth as butter and could not be happier even thos I have a mid range GPU for todays standards.. Are you able to keep 90+ FPS in DCS?

what is your Helmet level set too in audio options?

Does the crystal need a battery or something so it can be a standalone or is it able to do both where it has a Displayport and usb cable to plug in?

You should try Process Lasso, it does this once you set it up. I use it and the basics of it is to put all the active processes on cores 0-3 and then DCS on the rest..

Well if that is the case I doubt HP is going to come out with their own software as they got out as well.. Looks like I need to save my pennies for a Aero..
