Also ich muss sagen ob ich die Videos jetzt hab oder nicht ist mir völlig Latte...das Ding ist schon gezahlt, da ändert sich bei mir nichts mehr üben die Hälfte von dem was die zeigen interessiert mich entweder im Moment eh nicht oder will ich selber probieren.

Es gab auch nie eine F-14 die am Burj Khalifa vorbei flog (gebau genommen an den meisten Häusern die in Dubai stehen wie es Momentan auf der PG Map dargestellt ist) und trotzdem geht das (hoffentlich) bald in DCS. Die Frage ist doch, kann die F-16 4, 6 oder 8 Mavericks mitnehmen oder kann sie es nicht? Nur weil das operationell nicht genutzt wird, heißt es ja nicht, dass das nicht geht. Und solange ich in „meiner“ Sandbox bin kann ich auch die Loadouts nutzen die ich für Sinnvoll erachte. Genau so wie die 18 Bomben an der Tomcat. Die haben das nicht genutzt (auch aus Gründen) aber es wäre sehr wohl technisch möglich gewesen. Wenn ich natürlich eine Kampagne oder Mission habe die historisch korrekt und realistisch sein soll/will, dann kommen da auch nur Zuladungen ran die auch belegt sind/Sinn machen.

Ok the other hand there are quite a lot things the Hornet can do the Tomcat isn‘t able to perform, so there‘s not much of a point in saying the one misses more functionality than the other imho, even if they are not yet implemented.

On a 1990‘s version of that map, Dubai would be about 1/4 or 1/5th of the size it has in the actual map. :)

Yeah the „Witwenmacher“ (Widowmaker) or „Fliegender Sargnagel“ (Flying Coffin Nail) and so on....but nonetheless a nice looking plane with an awful cool engine sound on the ground. (The ghosts of the dead pilots whispering ????)

Well, what makes me „sad“ is the fact, that I‘ve never heard any plane in any game that sounds like the real deal...either the old warbirds and especially any jet never hurt my ears like a real one. I think the sound in that video was quite good, I hope they get it to sound somehow like that in the release.

Sure, but just because he has the module since some time he don‘t have to show it like in the video if he don‘t intend anything with it. It may not be an indicator for a release, but the Tomcat isn‘t just showing because he put her in there just by mistake I‘m sure.

Und Aufklärung haben die Lechfeld-Tornados eben in der Art und Weise nicht gemacht. Und wir haben wohl aneinander vorbei geredet. ^^

Ja, dafür da waren, weil es zum einen das JaboG 32 nicht mehr gibt und zum anderen das „Taktische Luftwaffengeschwader 51“ (was für ein sau bescheuerter Name übrigens btw.) einen grundlegend anderen Auftrag hat und hatte als das JaboG 32.

Und nicht zu vergessen die ECR Tornados des inzwischen leider aufgelösten JaboG 32 aus Lechfeld, die dafür da waren, die gegnerische Luftabwehr nieder zu halten. Würde perfekt in die "Zeitlinie" von DCS passen. Außerdem wärs schön mal wieder ein paar Kisten von meinem alten Geschwader fliegen zu sehe. :cry::)

Well, there was the possibility to add 14 bombs but they never used it ...perfect solution is to let the mission builder or host decide if we are allowed to carry them or not. I can live very well with it until we get an Intruder or a F-111, then we no longer have the need to use such loadouts on the Tomcat.

Yeah I know :) I only wanted to say, that something‘s not right, either my game or a part of the behaviour of the MiG. I‘m trying to make a video to show to you what I mean.

...the Problem is not that she bounces but HOW. I‘ll try to make a video this evening, but I can tell you I,ve seen enough planes land that I can say at least the way it bounces away like a rubberball can‘t be right. I have slammed it into the ground and she went up like jumping on a trampoline. And no, I haven‘t had it on easy mode or so.

Die Kugeln sind beim „Enkelkind“ der Bo, der EC-145 (habe wir ja als tolle LUH für die SOF-Kräfte) auch noch genau so vorhanden, 2 pro Rotorblatt, eben um die Schwingungen der Rotorblätter zu dämpfen weil der Pilot sonst permanent eine Massage bekommt.

But bouncing still doesn‘t mean it should jump back into the sky like a little child on a trampoline. It’s not the fact it does bounce but how...I tried such hard landings, the gear has to collapse, but it doesn’t...instead the MiG turns into a Saturn-V Rocket and goes crazy.

Okay maybe I used the wrong words. I can land that thing absolutely fine, but when I „slam“ it down hard it bounces away like Roger Rabitt while it should destroy its gear or brake down completely. Or haven‘t I found the secret realism switch?

Das wär ja dann wieder ein netter Punkt bei dem die Entwickler nachbessern sollten, denn so ein Helii sollte schon gut sichtbar sein. Selbst die dämlichen Windkraftanlagen knallen einem das Radar zu, wenn die nicht in einem Festzielfilter hinterlegt sind. :D

Die Luftwaffe hat halt bei Zeiten erkannt, dass man um den dicken zu markieren nicht zwangsweise reden muss wie ein kleiner Nachwuchs-Yoda. Wir nennen die Kumpels vom Heer ja auch nicht umsonst liebevoll „Notaustaster“. ????

Well, I haven‘t flown a Real MiG-29, but I have seen quite a lot planes touching down and it never ever looked like they had „Flubber“ under their wheels. And I had quite a lot bouncing landings with the MiG...not only „bouncing“ but catapulting it back into air like it’s weight was more like 200kg and not some tons...

I can think about another country who was rather destroyed...forbidden to develop such things as military planes or tanks...and those industry that was still left was taken away from others...oh wait they now build one of the best tanks and uboats in the world... And the Soviet Union took it´s industry and put it out of the range of enemy bombers...I think they hadn´t such a hard time building and developing new things like you stated.
