  1. @Flyfighter101 That doesn't really explain why I'll lose one member of my flight randomly when they are flying around a mile away from me and not maneuvering. I've also noticed that sometimes when you see aircraft on your radar they suddenly aren't showing on Link. Is it just dropping that information when the radar picks them up?
  2. Yeah, but I've encountered several situations where non-donor friendly aircraft don't show up on the network when the should be visible from the AWACS
  3. Myself and the group I fly with have noticed that non-link 16 aircraft tend to not show up on L16. However when I tested it a player flying a AV8B was showing up on L16 although it was intermittent. Does anyone know what causes aircraft to just randomly drop off link or not show up in general?
  4. I'm including another track file that demonstrates the adverse yaw in the viper. F16 Yaw 5 23 23.trk
  5. I believe I'm having the same problem. Here is a track file. You can see the elevation jumping when a target is bugged F16 RDR elevation 5 16 23.trk
  6. Has there been any update with this? I was doing an approach yesterday and still noticed a large amount of adverse yaw.
  7. I believe that is correct behavior
  8. When drift C/O is selected with a crosswind and the aircraft is rolled 90° the FPM goes off the HUD. I would expect the FPM to stay where it is regardless of attitude. F16 FPM 4 19 23.trk
  9. The aspect indicator on the top left of the radar seems to skip degrees. Usually changing by 20 or more degrees when it updates. I would expect it to update with each scan and indicate everything from 18-0 unless aspect is changing very fast. F16 Aspect 4 19 23.trk
  10. Huh, I could have sworn that Wags said it was only within your flight but looking back at the video it looks like he didn't. The D/L channels would be awesome though
  11. Its supposed to be only within your flight, but that's currently not working and it shares to every viper
  12. As a general rule of thumb, don't use any of the AI radio work in DCS as a reference.
  13. Typically it's bullseye until it gets more close in for the specific fighter. Bullseye is just so much more useful and allows for everyone on the frequency to know what's going on
  14. so it was a combination of Cx through C7 in 2007?
  15. What kind of AIM-120s were used in 2007?
  16. I understand that, which is why I've been asking you to ask your SMEs about this. They are more knowledgeable about this than either of us and being asked questions is what they are around for.
  17. This has been what I've been hearing also
  18. Ok, did you ask your SMEs about this or are you waiting for them to bring it up to you?
  19. Have there been any updates with this?
  20. L16 mission assignments would from a wingman alone would be cool! Especially if it integrates with LotATC. There is some good documentation out there for it so lets hope it happens!
  21. Well, while this is another video, here is one on the knife edge pass. Seems like it's able to do it
  22. City lighting and airport lighting load in at a short distance very abruptly. Major cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi are so bright you should be able to see the light of the city from beyond the horizon. I know that would be light pollution but the point still stands that you would see all of the bright lights from extremely far away. I’m going to include a picture that somewhat demonstrates along with a screen shot from roughly the same altitude the picture was taken at. The IRL picture of course can't 100% depict what it looks like in person (the picture is darker), however it does demonstrate what I'm talking about. The lights at the top of the picture are 35-40nm away. This is even more notable at higher altitude but I don't have any good pictures to demonstrate it. -camera -124.649432 2.714945 -105.580091 -cameradir 0.873799 -0.073395 0.480716 PG Lighting .miz
  23. I appreciate you bringing this to the team and look forward to their response.
  24. I agree a single video isn't proof which is why I'm asking for you to talk to your SMEs. It really feels like there is a lot of adverse yaw for a FBW system. I've also seen it be very noticeable when you try to do small changes left and right (like a slight left turn to lock in centerline on an approach)
  25. I thought I heard that IDM was being worked on a while ago, or if not at least planned. Although it's completely possible that it changed between now and then
