  1. ooooooh. Caesar. I forgot about this one....so nice to have a french piece of artillery too.
  2. Probably not needed anymore after next month. This will make your work a lot easier.
  3. Huey is a great module to learn how to fly an helicopter. It's pretty basic systems wise but the flight model is pretty good overall. This is what we use for ab initio pilots. Then you can move to Mi8 and Gazelle. Ka50 is less a challenge to fly but it is the most interesting module for its systems (Abris, PVI800, datalink,...).
  4. With the last 3 vehicles (VBL, TRM and Crotale NG), I think this will be pretty much everything we could have ever wanted for DCS.(don't know if this is easy but if you are modeling the mistral tripod on the trm2000, maybe a stand alone mistral tripod is a quick possible add-on? If not, no worry). Thanks Dimi for this awesome work.
  5. Wow. I am really jealous of you guys that ED is putting all this effort for something like that. Enjoy the moment.
  6. No. Still dragging the popup out of the way. Maybe there is some lua config file that shows some X, Y default coordinates, but I didn't find it.
  7. Ah ok. Good it was raised already.
  8. Strangely I didn't found any report of this here although it is a big deal on the Huey side. Just to make sure this bug is reported but for the last two weeks at least with the Mi8 in OB, you cannot fire more than one round at a time with the side gunner.
  9. So the side guns only work if you spawn with them. In case you are rearming. The miniguns will rotate a 1/4 tour then stop and do not fire. Nineline, just throw a cold and dark UH-1 on an airport and ask for rearming with guns or miniguns. Then try to shoot with them. On the Mi8 side, even if you are spawning with the guns, it will shoot only one bullet at a time and the ammo belt animation is not working.
  10. Yes, we did too with a custom CSAR script including this mod. It's awseome to see the pilot walking to your chopper.
  11. The deck sliding bug in MP was raised already for the choppers a few weeks ago. Landing on a perfectly still Tarawa (I don't even dare to have a moving boat anymore in MP) in a nice smooth touch down with no forward speed, and your aircraft is sliding forward all the way down into the water unless you are pulling the collective and take off. I wish this bug was affecting the F18 so we can have a quick fix from ED. Well at least it is affecting the shiny new F14 so there is a chance for us choppers to see this bug taken into account.
  12. Mi8 and UH-1H don't need a serious rework like the Ka50. They are great and beautiful modules. So I am fine to wait until 2020 or whatever they need if they want to rework them. But they need to simply WORK the way they are supposed when they were released. Each patch is degrading the situation more and more with absolutely no care from ED.
  13. Yes, so they can move on to the F-16....:mad: I can't believe the side guns malfunction didn't make it to yesterday's patch. Any similar bug on the F-18 would have been solved through a hot fix the next day after a massive uproar on the forum from the top gun kids.
  14. Rotorcrafts in general are completely forgotten. We can't use gunners anymore for 2 or 3 weeks, embark and disembark troops never ever worked in MP, landing and taking off from ships are becoming hazardous, anti collision lights are shining through cockpits for months but ED finds time and resources to "optimize the animation of the afterburner nozzles" for the F-18.
  15. Same for the NS430 export. Didn't get any help so far.
  16. Thanks. Yes, this is how it is configured, but still no missions shows in the interface list.
  17. All the missions on our dedicated are hosted on a network drive, not on the the local missions directory of the server. In the online interface of the dedicated, whenever we want to add missions to the list, the interface shows no missions to add as I guess it is only looking in the default missions directory which is empty. Is there a line somewhere in a .lua file to specify the default path to missions? Thanks.:helpsmilie:
  18. Just use the CSAR script available in the mission editor section of the forum. Don't bother creating something from scratch.
  19. Well, that's not gonna help at all. You have to go to your device manager and select each USB device connected, go to properties and uncheck the power management checkbox. One device after the other. Pain in the ... but this will solve all your problems.
  20. The default Win10 setting for touch screens sends a double click for the touch. This is not something related to your screen or to Helios. Just go in the Win10 settings and disable the double click. I am not in front of my DCS computer right now so I can't remember the path to get there, but I had the exact same problem when I installed Helios 1.4 on a new computer.
  21. Did you disable power management for this device? (and in general for all your USB devices).
  22. Even after a nice and smooth landing on the tarawa's deck with both Hueys and Gazelles, all our pilots ended up in the water with, as soon as the collective was fully lowered, a long and uncontrollable slide forward on the deck until the aircraft falls into the water. The Tarawa was set with speed 0. No waves/wind.
  23. If you setting up a UK Huey in your mission, don't you have already a skin for the RAF?
  24. Gunners are broken now. Switching to position 3 or 4, you can shoot at best one round. No go with the minigun. But hey, as long as the F18 and F14 pilots are happy, no need to rush things for us rotorheads.
  25. xSCAR45 Make sure your 3 SAS channels are on. Make sure your chopper is correctly trimmed already with little drift in any 4 directions before you engage the auto hover (use the vector that displays on the HUD below 50kph to make sure you are almost already in hover). The auto hover will not set your chopper into hover, it will maintain the hover you set your chopper into.
