  1. Good morning. Here as follows is what I happened to get. Several days after the latest OB update, today "my" F1 refused to be available. So I tried to uninstall and reinstall it via the usual procedure, but with no luck - the F1 is gone and its place has been caught by the usual default A-10. Nice birdie that, agreeded, but not quite the plane I would like to fly, you know. So, just for my curiosity I gave a look to my DCS installation folder, and I found out that the F1 folder was in the Mods/Aircraft folder only, and thus not in the CoreMods/Aircraft also, as the like it would normally be instead. Each further attempt gave the same results above in return. What went wrong, and what should I do now, I ask? Thanks a lot in advance for any useful hint and your kind attention. With best regards.
  2. Hhmmm... he seemed talking about the last OB update, I guess. With best regards.
  3. Thanks a lot, Urbi! As an Italian, I appreciated that a lot. With best regards.
  4. Magnifico, siete proprio dei grandi!
  5. I would think that something critical in your Windows has been corrupted, maybe - as I happened to find out in my case, similar to yours as seems. Have you considered the opportunity to uninstall and reinstall Windows instead? Good luck and with best regards.
  6. All true as all those above, but if the ED guys won't put their hands at them, well... With best regards.
  7. Good morning to all. Last and definitive (I sincerely hope so) update. After a long series of attempts of any kind, I had confirmed my suspects, so I could explain why all those were happening to me only in all this Community. It was exclusive fault of Windows. Clear proof of that was that after reinstalled it, all what was not functiong started running fine again. A word of respectful thanking to all the nice guys I happened to be so lucky to meet in this occasion, and were so kind to join me in helping effortlessly. Thank you so much for your valuable time, Flappie, Andrey, Mike and all the other ones I'm not explicitely referring here and now by my only fault. You know you are included in this mine, guys. With best regards.
  8. Just to inform you all that the link is (again perhaps?) operative and drives straight to the proper Google Drive page. Hope it helps. With best regards.
  9. If I am not late too much, I'd like to second this Hawkeye's too - and not exclusively limited to WWII era as well, if possible. Thanks a lot in advance, ED devs.! With best regards to all.
  10. Thanks for this also, and take your time. I don't want absolutely to put you in any hurry, mate. With best regards.
  11. Nice, pretty nice... just can't await to see the link where she could be downloaded from. (what about the Garibaldi, by the way, or have I missed something here, perhaps?) With best compliments and regards.
  12. Thanks a lot to you, very much appreciated. With best regards.
  13. And the latest manual as well! Thanks a lot, very much appreciated. With best regards.
  14. Very interesting point... what makes you thinking that? With best regards.
  15. Thanks to you instead, mon frére, I must add you to those who gave me a great aid and support. And I am used to write my report this way.. sorry for the long post, in case. With my best thankful regards, dear Flappie.
  16. Dear SUNTSAG, perhaps I have found out all your stuff a little late... but I wanted to let you know that I found all your nice works very useful, they will let me learn more about Mission Editor's current capabilities, I admit that I have a lot to. So I decided to subscribe to your channel, by the way, can't await to see what's next. With best compliments and regards.
  17. Your wishes went out fine, dear mate. Thanks a lot! Just a moment ago I was able to close successfully my assistance ticket, thanks only to the kind and very close help by ED technician guys, who have been even more stubborn than how I am - and I have said all. The final statement was that there was "something" well hidden in my PC/system blocking any kind of attempt to connect to ED updating server(s). The only case in all over the world, probably, no one reported anything of this kind except for me - better for anyone else, but worse for me. The solution came straight following this procedure: https://support.shaw.ca/t5/internet-articles/how-to-boot-your-computer-in-safe-mode-with-networking-windows/ta-p/5450#. It was as simple as it was to be acted, and after I booted my PC in safe with Internet mode I was able to update my DCS without any lack of time in doing it and successfully, most of all. But, more weird than all, when we tried to do that again this morning, all the issues... vanished. And we were able to update, repair... do all those task I was forbidden to make, in short. Let's see what will happen with the next update when it will be released. But if these are the premises, I am hoping in well. I have at hand an alternative recover procedure, otherwise. By the way, I got to solve one more weird issue, concerning that I wasn't able to open a support ticket. I have been shown (thanks again, ED techs) that I was able to do that using the English version of DCS main site, and not the localized one, still not ready for such tasks. As an Italian, I comment that with... bah With best regards to all.
  18. Thanks a lot, dear mate, but actually we (together with ED technicians) are still seeking for it. After finished, I will share this information gladly. Promised. With best regards.
  19. Hi, all. Just to let you know, as due, that after some days spent in trying any kind of hints, I was able to solve my troubles thanks to the patient assistance the awesome ED technical team given. It has been very tricky, this time, you can believe me. Thanks goodness this hell has been ended, I have to consider what I will do in future, obvious ... but it's all fine now. Again. With best regards.
  20. True, and I also answered requesting some instructions about... Fine, we will see how also this will end. Thanks for all anyway it goes, maximov. With best regards.
  21. Hello, guys. @maximov: true indeed. But what should I do then? @Gruman: I already tried that, butI couldn't disable both, only Firewall. No luck. And, as perhaps I said before, I positively don't use any other firewall or antivirus, as first because I don't trust them as I do with MS ones (tested). By the way, years ago I have asked a friend of mine to assembly a custom PC. Besides, in Defender's quarantined files are only those rare viruses attempting to attack my PC and immediately recognized and blocked. At last, with Flappie (thank you a lot for that once again, mon frère) we tried some days ago to attempt your last two suggestions, but with no success - trying a new installation, in particular, was halted because the usual reason, i.e. it has been impossibile to download the necessary files. That unfortunately is. With best regards.
  22. Thanks for your attention, dear maximov and Gruman. Here are my answers. To maximov: since months ago, I added a specific exception in Windows firewall and Defender - the only ones I'm using - for the main DCS executables and the whole Eagle Dynamics folder. This apart, what you have said are reasonable and I agree with you, but the weird issue is still. To Gruman: thanks for your suggestions, mate. I have just tried one more attempt connecting via my phone after having disabled my router, but unfortunately getting the same usual negative result in return as before. Still weird. With best regards.
  23. Interesting that, it should even worth a try at this point... Update: I did it, but no way. It's happening the same. I also tried with changing my DNS settings to Google ones in VPn4 and adding those to my IPv6, but in vain. I'm wondering what has changed to updating process, now, due that all that is showing clearly that what is happening is not fault of mine. With best regards.
  24. Email sent just a few seconds ago. Awaiting your kind answer, dear Maximov. With best regards.
  25. Good morning, dear Maximov. Thanks for your hint, but I'm really afraid that the issue has to be searched elsewere. Flappie (thanks a huge lot for this, mon frère) and I spent two hours yesterday in searching and testing everywhere in my PC/system what the real reasons of this strange problem could be. But all his efforts went useless and he had to surrender, getting stuck in conclusion - literally. To Flappie, now: thanks a lot for that hint too. But actually I already knew all those, so that was the reason because since a long time ago I set a specific exception in Windows Firewall for all those DCS executables, just to avoid it could "block" them when attempting to connect to all the DCS servers elsewhere. The same I did on my router, opening all those DCS specific ports needed. I repeat, all thing went out fine and quick until one month ago, approximately. What went wrong, and why. in particular? I. Just. Don't. Know. It. I did nothing. So I am going to send a formal assistance request to that email address Maximov kindly gave me yesterday, and I will see what will happen now. Thanks for your attention and with best regards.
